*Quickly uses the Styler to draw a shielding Capture Line between Xenoqueen and Metalynx to protect them so they can get away... the Line breaks and the Styler takes damage, but is still functional.*
*Meanwhile the Dupli-Nucleon bites down* -- OUCH! -- *Shakes Dupli-Nucleon off my arm and quickly captures it with the Styler... luckily it doesn't take many loops to capture it, and it's now calmed down and in its normal form, ready to assist the Rangers as needed.*
*The Xenoqueen, meanwhile, is proving to be more difficult to capture. It breaks the Capture Line using Radioacid on two different occasions, driving the available energy down almost to the point of the Styler breaking. But I still manage to complete the capture; since it's a Nuclear-type, it doesn't get captured entirely, but rather falls into a deep slumber that can only be awakened by releasing it from the Styler's influence.*
*Notices that Xenoic has woken up and that Archilles is missing*
All right... you just had to do this the hard way, didn't you? *Quickly gives a Max Revive to Dramsama*
Dramsama (after waking up and taking stock of the situation): [Well... I see this turned into quite the mess while I was unconscious. You should have let me steal his soul when I had the chance.]
Perhaps so, Dramsama, but now is not the time to debate that. Keep him trapped there for the time being while I check in with Spirit...
*While Dramsama embraces Xenoic in an entrapping illusion, I quickly contact Spirit and get an update on the situation with him.*
Ah... I see... well, be careful -- he is a Cookie Thief, after all.
*Breaks the communication and turns back to Xenoic, speaking to him via Dramsama.*
So... was this your end game after all -- using our operation to kidnap Chief Phantom? I overheard you say something about a "client"... so tell me, Xenoic... who do you work for?
Be very careful how you answer... Dramsama seems to think I made a mistake in letting you live... I don't think I could restrain her impulses a second time...

Oh honey its gonna take more than that to take my soul because I simply am immune to such things, how you may ask?
Its called technology. I am human but erm modified lets just say.... it will become apparrent when you do try to do so :p take my word for it you dont want dramsama injured....
*Pulls out a seemingly pistol but modified to fire bullets that cause shockwaves that can stun, break bones, and definitely knockout pokemon after a couple rounds*
You really think i wont notice an illusion?
*Fires off rounds in the direction of both Dramsama and Eevee*
Meanwhile Archilles proceeds to Megaevolve and start using Flamethrower on the nearby rangers and proceeds to burn Duplicat causing it to faint.

While the ranger was carrying the Cookie Thief to Phantom-Chief's last known location, he suffered a small aneurism in the brain due to all the radiation in the air, and died. So ends the chapter of the greatest thief in all of Tandor. Such an ignoble end...
(Their! Now that he's out of the plot, their shall be no problems with this snarl in continuity!)

(What an unexpected and ironic twist. And there it perishes in his best suit, the precious love of that Ranger Chief weirdo, kept as a treasured secret in front of the other Rangers for her own and the complete Ranger union's sake... I hope those cookies made in afterlife are just as sweet as the time we had together.)
Meanwhile, in that office with a destroyed door, Hydreigon recovered from that sudden flinch, and stares silently out of that broken window. It can see the flashes of lightnings there among the dark clouds that Yatagaryu left behind due to its Stormbringer ability... And while it would enjoy nothing more than mercilessly crunch those annoying critters between its three jaws, following this path of thunderstorm would be nothing else than foolish and probably just what they wanted... So, it's better for this dark blue dragon to stay here. For now. They may have won the battle, but definitely not the war...

Looking to the corpse from the cookie thief, Spiritmon, feel great grief. He dont want kill him, just put him in the jail! Then he have a idea. He grab one Pokeball, and free his Astronite.
Astronite, use psychic to fix his brain damage and try to let out the radiation in his body.
He dont know if will work, but he will not let a person die! Spirit is a Ranger, and his job is save lives. Even this life belongs to a cookie thief. Using his powers, Astronite use his psychic powers to fix the areas in Windos brain, speeding the regeneration in his brain cells. And let out the radiation in his body, making his skin little by little returning to normal.
Cmmon! You are the cookie thief! Dont die this ridiculous way! I not even put you in the jail yet!
Then Spiritmon begin to pray to Mutios and Aotios for that one life.

Uugggh, what the dickens happened to me? It feel like my head has been run over by a runaway trolley. Oh my dear skull....
*Looks up blearly, and notices the ranger that knock him out over a misunderstand, with a Astronite*
At that moment, he didn't know how to quite feel about him. His misunderstanding of his intent turned off his light, and ruined his nice suit (It was custom made, and bullet proof to boot!), but he also apparently saved his life. Deciding that his life is more that worth all the trouble, he decided to let bygones be bygones. Besides, how can he give his gift to dear Phantom-Chief if his is in the here after?
*Try to get up, only to collapse on the ground, wincing as he holds his head*
Oooooh, that was a bullocks idea. Looks like I'm going to be layyed out for awhile, my dubious ranger. Still, we can't waste time, not even on my poor condition, so would you please get on my Golurk, so that we can fly to the rescue of our mutual friend? Oh, and for the love of this good bottle of wine, please don't wollup my head again. Ugggggh....
*Motions his Golurk over, giving it the command to go the Ranger Union headquarters*

(Continuity? What continuity?)
(Seriously, minor details can easily be overlooked, and major continuity errors can be tweaked or reworked, such as this brilliant exchange between Windos and Spirit. This thread has already evolved well beyond what I ever imagined it would be -- which is a good thing, and it's really fun with everyone's inventive twists keeping us all on our toes -- so at this point, it's all about having fun and exercising our writing flexibility. Kinda reminds me of improv, in a way!)
*Jumps back as Xenoic fires off the rounds and uses my Styler to shield myself and Dramsama from the shock waves. It flings us both backward, but the Styler absorbs just enough energy to prevent Dramsama from fainting and to protect myself from broken bones (bruises, on the other hand, I'll probably have a few of those in the morning). The Styler goes down to critical energy; one more hit will shatter it. Regretfully, it doesn't have enough energy to protect the Duplicat, which faints after being hit with the Flamethrower.*
Dramsama: [I... I don't understand... nobody could possibly break free of my Illusion!]
*Takes stock of the situation and decides there's only one thing left at this point to do...*
*Grabs my lone PokeBall containing my Partner Pokemon* Go, Pajay!
*Pajay bursts out of the PokeBall. Before Xenoic can react, I grab Dramsama, jump on Pajay and we all swiftly fly away*
Dramsama: [That is your brilliant plan? Run away?]
I'm not running away, Dramsama. This is what's known as a 'tactical retreat'. I'll radio the other Rangers and have them try to apprehend Xenoic, but at this point... my Styler is almost out of energy, and I'm clearly outmatched by Xenoic right now. Look what he did with the Xenoqueen... if we continue facing off against him, we'll be putting Bealbeach's residents in further danger than we already have. Besides, we've found out already that he's just a client... whoever hired him to kidnap Chief Phantom -- that's who we need to be going after!
So I think it's best at this point to catch up to Spirit and Windos, and help them rescue Phantom. I can probably find a wild Kinetmunk or Harylect along the way to recharge my Styler...
(I updated the participant list in the opening post. There's still plenty of room for anyone to jump in, if they so prefer!)
(Also, anyone know what happened to our Fafurr??)

Stop... let them go. We have accomplished the mission thats all that matters..
Besides they clearly arent idiots for furthering combat.
*Sees rangers and police start arriving*
Return Archilles, Xenoqueen, and my poor Duplicat
*Procceds to throw down a smoke ball and vanish seemingly*
Meanwhile...
*Sable and Yata spot a ship (Its metal) with the Pirates of Tandor Flag*
*They land onto the ship and throw Phantom onto the deck*
*Pirates and the pirate captain comes out*
The captain says, "Well would you look at what just washed up my deck... looks like his reputation wasnt far off the truth. Yarharhar! Well the capture of a top ranking ranger will certain assist us in securing East Tandor's seas. I assume you want what you were promised yes? Follow me. Also you scurvy lads go put ol' ranger here into the cell and take his pokeballz."
*Sable stops the captain for a second and showed him a note*
Im a sableye that can write in english. There are possible rangers and pokemon on their way here to rescue this dude.
*Pirates start laughing*
The captain says, " What??!? This pokeman can WRITE?!?!? Oh this landlubber is good. Lads! Prep the ship for combat!!"
(I assume Fafurr is in the hospital recovering???? IDK)

*Golurk raises one of its fists, and a frankly massive Shadow Ball forms right above it*
So, for your shake and mine, let me be clear: one wrong move, and you'll be right at home in davvy jone's locker. I have a friend with me *Weakly waves to the ranger on board his Golurk* that can also play havoc with your crew as well. So, what will it be, captain?

*Sable focuses a pokeball jammer on Windos while Yatagaryu summons a lightning storm and uses Thunder onf the Shadow Ball making it explode*
*The pirates proceed to order their schools of Tubareel to use Dark Pulse on Golurk*
*They then pull out Flintlock Pistols and open fire on the ranger and Windos*
*The captain then retreats down into Phantom's holding cell and pulls out a flintlock pistol*
Im afraid since your friends are coming... Your worth more dead than alive.
*IS about to pull trigger*
(Just giving Phantom a chance to you know attempt to save himself*
*Sees chaos off in the distance while in a boat part of a huge pirate fleet on route to Venesi City*

Full speed ahead to the captain!
*Whole fleet starts moving towards the chaos and sends out their huge amounts of Tubareels, Krilvolver and various bird pokemon like the Payjay family, Eshouten family and Splendifowl family.*
