RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-15-2020 Kogeki is indeed likely to be the most athletic of the bunch and the one most suited to climbing trees. Let's see if he can pull it off. Quick Attack (6)(6)(6)(3) 3 successes The speed at which Kogeki's moving bolsters his athletics! +1 D6 on the Athletics check. Athletics 2 Dex + 1 Survival + 0 Athletics + 1 QA = 4 (5)(6)(3)(1) 2 successes Kogeki nimbly scrambles up the tree incredibly quickly. He perches on the branch above and very carefully cuts the apple's stem with his Kunai, making sure to hold onto the fruit so that it doesn't fall to the ground and become bruised. He then very carefully climbs back down, which is much easier than climbing up. Success! Apple obtained! ---------------------------------------- Karen thinks about Kee's suggestion for how to split the Poké, and has a question. "Wouldn't putting 15 in the group fund and giving 15 to all 5 of us only account for $90, though? What are we doing with the other $10? Putting it in the group fund, or dividing it evenly among us? And are you going to be the one keeping track of the group fund, Kee? Or do you think someone else should?" RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 04-15-2020 (....*facepalms over herself* Correct.) "Oh well, this remainin' 'n shinin' coing of 10$P... Letsa put it into the group fund, as we've got those Big Nuggets to sell for one's own funds." This means 25$P go into the group fund, and 15$P for each of us. Her suggestion-question about him keeping track of the Group Fund causes Kee to ponder and look at everyone with a questioning gaze. "Uh, well, I think I can do so for now, yes... How about we let the leader who d'cides on which path to take within a Mystery Dungeon do so? It's more secure if it's not the same person carryin' 'round this additional cash everytime, I'm obviously not going nor want to lead through a Dungeon everytime. (^_^; ) (Outta-chara I can do so for now, yet I'm horrible at mental calculations [as just seen] and would prefer if it's either a different one of us who will do so always OR alternatively the one who leads through a MysteryDungeon is automatically in charge of keeping track and carrying the group fund until it can be stored at a bankmon) RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-15-2020 "I guess the leader keeping track of it makes sense, particularly if we eventually split up and go to two different locations simultaneously...I wouldn't want to carry around large amounts of cash into these dungeons if everyone loses this much money in them all the time, though, honestly..." Marcus chips in again. "You don't have to! We've got a bank in town that'll store your money and keep it safe. They keep track of how much you have stored there, too. Of course, you're responsible for keeping track of how much you have on hand and how you're splitting it, so make sure you aren't dropping anything!" Karen smiles as she takes her share of the money and stores it safely away. She's absolutely going to be keeping track of how much she has. Alright, I think that takes care of that for the most part. Where to next? RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 04-15-2020 Pyra readily agrees with the black 'n white crittercoon's suggestion on their monatry management, swiftly nodding her head while also starting a mental tab on her and everyone's finances. She had no problems with that arrangement, and she liked the though of keeping track of the group's wealth herself someday, so no reason for her to reject their idea, in all honesty! RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 04-15-2020 Wheeeeee Pokemon Economics is so cool, they even know what a 'bank' is and how it works. Kee's fascination about the World of the Pokemon increases, he feels like he's going to enjoy being a 'Mon himself. As to where to head next: Due to that slope it's likely not possible for us to progress by going north. But what about that tiny path on the east, can we reach it and head into this direction without any rolls? Our Stats are so low that I rather not risk rolling on this. [attachment=1033] If that's not possible, then it's time to head back to where they started and head eastwards. Kee's fascination about the World of the Pokemon increases, he feels like he's going to enjoy being a 'Mon himself. Oh, I guess I should have specified how steep the slope is, huh? I mean it's a gentle, steady increase in elevation in this case. Both of the paths on this tile are easily reachable. RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 04-15-2020 Huh nice, if that slope's totally passable then let's do leave it behind us to follow the current path (diagonally-north outta-chara). RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-15-2020 Trees continue to line the elevated ground at the top of the small hill, creating even more corridors. The path eventually splits into two. [attachment=1035] Walking towards the group from the path on the left is a group of 3 pokemon. The first is a Zigzagoon. Unlike Kee, however, this one striped with brown and white. The other two are both round, brown pokemon with three large, green spheres atop their heads. Clearly, they are Bonsly. The Zigzagoon is sniffing the ground while the Bonsly keep watch, and when Kee approaches, it perks up and growls at him. The Bonsly are immediately alerted as well, and take up positions on either side of the Zigzagoon. None of them are wearing badges, either, indicating that they're wild pokemon! Marcus holds his bone club up, ready to swing it at a moment's notice. "Looks like we stumbled into some wild pokemon! They're probably not going to leave us alone until we've beaten them in a fight! Everyone get ready, because here they come!" Time for some initiatives! There's enough room at the fork for everyone to get in on the action this time, so don't worry about it getting too crowded! Round 1 Initiatives Zigzagoon: (6) + 3 = 9 Kogeki: (6) + 3 = 9 Marcus: (6) + 2 = 8 Karen: (4) + 1 = 5 Pyra: (4) + 1 = 5 Bonsly A: (4) + 1 = 5 Kee: (2) + 2 = 4 Daxter: (1) + 3 = 4 Bonsly B: (2) + 1 = 3 RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 04-15-2020 (04-15-2020, 01:59 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: Once she sights the wild Pokemon and they challenge Kee and them, Pyra's smile widens into a toothy grin as she leers at them with savage glee as she starts flexing her claws menacingly. If they wish and desire to harm my friends, they will suffer for their insolence." With that declared, the lil' demoness squanders not a second of time trying to ignite Zigzagoon with her Ember. Though no Weak to it persay, all that bristly fur should be flammable enough to give them a real good searing Burn! Order: Burn Zigzagoon with Ember, simple as that!
