Hm I hate to be that guy but.. the devs talk more often on Discord than here so it's no wonder news may take time to arrive over here
Last I heard of actual progress for online play, amibu was having help from a second team of developpers who would focus solely on making pvp more stable. And L popped up no later than today with proof that they are still fixing bugs here and there in the game's source code
They may not make big announcements for how it's going on their end but I'm positive they're still working on it

*idea incoming!* You know what we could use in such a case? ....A person who serves as some sort of messenger between the Discord Channel and this board, sharing any official information and/or announcements for events like Give-Aways, Tournaments and such here on this Forum as well for those that either don't enjoy Discord too much or find it it not functioning on their PC, as it still feels somewhat sad that activity on this board drastically decreased over the time which does give an image that the Game's somewhat dead for a person that somewhat finds their way here.
To be honest, I'm not quite sure how much of a good idea that is, but I do like this thought and would even volunteer for this position and get a little more active on Discord for that sake. How timeconsuming this would be as I'm having a life outside this board is something I cannot really estimate yet, though. @CodySP, what are your thoughts about this, you're the Admin after all?

I might be "back" for a very short time (less then a week lol), but I do agree with you and think your idea is amazing. I myself was surprised when I rejoined the discord and saw a lot of activity there, while here in the forums most of the activity is due to the roleplaying. That's a little bit sad and does give an impression that the game is dead. I might not know if I'm gonna stay around for much time, but I do wish more activity here in the forums.
I look forward for seeing the online play fixed one day. I hope the community hangs on until that time, because (at least I hope), this will bring new life to it.

Having someone relaying information might be a pretty cool idea! I try and jump back and forth as much as I can but it gets pretty hectic. Brainstorm some idea for sure!
