RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Lord Windos - 01-05-2017 More pseudo legends means more people will be gunning for them in the future, which mean some Pokémon may fall under the radar for not being 'powerful enough'. Hopefully, if they add Oblicorn, they balance it out so it is not too gamebreaking. I don't know what ability would be even more powerful than Mold Breaker on it, though... RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Xenoic - 01-07-2017 Maybe disenchant? Idk lols RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Lord Windos - 01-08-2017 Huge Power, perhaps? In exchange for losing Mold Breaker, it gain a even greater boost in attack power? RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Spiritmon - 01-09-2017 Wow, this certain would make a HUGE boost of Power in Oblivicorn. RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 01-09-2017 "Disenchant" would surely make some sense, given it's a huge dark unicorn from hell. <3 RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Nekra - 01-09-2017 I agree with mega Oblivicorn too. I think it would be fair both branches ends with mega evolution, not only one :). What is a definition or a characteristic for pseudo-legendary? Non-legendary pokémon with sum of base stats=600 ? (Some non-legendary megas with higher base stats total are in list in Uranium wiki, but there were not named here as psedo-legendaries.) According to bulbapedia, a pseudolegend must have the following to be considered as one: - A three-staged evolution line. ( = It must evolve twice, mega does not count as evolution here.) - A total of 1,250,000 experience points at Lv.100. - A base stat of exactly 600, before megaevolving. RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Nekra - 01-11-2017 Thanks Phantom, I did not get idea check it in bulbapedia :/. I thought something like regular pokemons who are as powerful as the legendaries ones. So some of the conditions are surprising for me. 3) Base stat total is an indicator how powerful pokemon is. It should make sense, but pokemons with higher (than 600) base stat total should be more powerful (Regular legendaries are powerful, aren't they?). 1) Three stage evolution line - higher evolutions are more poweful, so pokemon with three evolution stages will be probably stronger than some with less evolution stages. But doesn't have to be. 2) I really don't understand why Slow leveling rate at the highest evolution stage is a condition for a pseudo-legendarity. For making it harder to evolve them to lvl. 100? RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - TechSkylander1518 - 01-11-2017 It's just a fan-made term based on a pattern of Pokemon, it's not really any set rule. RE: Oblivicorn doesnt have mega too? - Iron - 01-12-2017 The original pseudo was Dragonite, so probably all of those "rules" are based on him. The developers wanted getting a Dragonite to feel extremely rewarding. He's got a rare first form, a final evolution level so high (at the time) it was considered a 'secret' evolution, and a great powerhouse of stats. He's the meat of the final E4 member's/Champion's team. And he's got a big mythos built around him, which Gen II expanded. |
