RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 06-16-2019 ....Well, Phatom's certainly having a bad time in their first battle, innit they? They have good plans and are tackling things rather nicely despite all that trouble, though, so I have hopes they've preHail eventually! RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 06-16-2019 (06-16-2019, 03:29 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: A note about Roar, @Phantom: it only targets one pokemon at a time. You can use it to scare away one wild pokemon per use, but not all of them at once (unless you were to, say, get a Surprise in the future that allowed it to do that) Ugh, for real?! Didn't know that. I've updated orders properly now, they're ready to be rolled out, I'll go to bed now. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 06-16-2019 (06-16-2019, 04:23 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote:(06-16-2019, 03:15 PM)Spiritmon Wrote: We will see. Waiting to see the next round begin. Let's see if I can beat those Snovers right here and right now. 3 beaten. But still not going to let any of them go. Let's finish what we started. Nagi has priority so let summon fire balls against that Snover. If survive Telekinesis will put her in place. Well, before I fully roll out everything, let me make note of one thing concerning Snarl now: Snarl's a Spread move in the main series games, and I will treat it as such in this game as well as a result. Does that possibly change when you wish to use it in the series of orders? If you want to pursue it, Kogeki won't be able to assist Karen or Phantom's character until Round 4. Is that okay? Yes, in that case Snarl and Psychic swap places, so that the final order of actions is: - using pyrotechincs - ranting about things - messing with the foes mind. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 06-16-2019 Spirit, I'm rather curious/baffled as to why you put an Antarki and Dramsama on the same team, since they have a sort of riviarly/grudge that similar to the likes of Servivper and Zangoose. That's just asking for trouble, imo, but hey, maybe you have an idea with that set up that I don't? That's just asking for trouble, imo, but hey, maybe you have an idea with that set up that I don't? 3 reasons: 1 - Because in therms of battle/support, both have incredible and powerful skills. 2 - Terms of fitting names: Izanagi. Izanami. The legend about Izanami death by her fire god sun by birth, Izanagi journey thought Underworld, and his refusal after. And the grudge between after that. 3 - Duality. Antarki it's a guide beacon Pokemon who show the "truth". And Dramsama it's a Illusion Pokemon, showing "lies". There is also a fourth reason: The challenge in raise two Pokemon who is mortal enemies. Never try that before and didn't see anyone try. It is crazy but hey, Arial was my char once remember? Not sure if it'll work out as well as you intend, but at the very least you'll have no end of interest within your own group of Pokemon! Ran would be pretty interested in meeting the pair of them at some point, as he's interested in true legends and myths and those Ghosts seem to embody them. Plus, they might get along with Diam, who'd certainly appreciate the chance to interact with some of her fellow spirits. Funnily enough, I think that makes Randolph the 'lore guy' of this group.
