There's still one thing they want to get done before finally~ turning in for the night. Oh heck, today was interesting in so many ways, and Bernhard cannot help but to wonder why and how Miss Fortune and Father Fate have managed to get him entangled in a mess that he never asked for again. Sometimes, only sometimes, he's amazed that he's still alive and sane by that point - thankfully so.

Eitherway, let's get this done real quick: With 'this' being a letter to his Mentor - yes an actual letter on fine parchment paper, written in a fancy manner with pitchblack ink using an expensive-looking fountain pen made out of a Pidgeot-feather, sealed with blood-red wax in the end. It reads as following:

Yes, I'm good indeed. Well, 'according to circumstances' would describe my state better for I have been entangled in things I did not ask for - again - but these I prefer to speak to you about in person and in private. I'm still striving for more finesse on my skills and magic, as ever and ever.

Allow me to get straight to the point: A highly-friendy salesperson at the shop gave me a hint of a...place called Hexnomicarna Odinium, selling THE best magical Items and Ingredients in town. Chances are, and I do hope I am not mistaken on that given your skills and powers in terms of Magic, you are a member already, and can grant me access via an invitation likewise please: For you know I am always on the lookout to hone and develop my own talent in Magic further. Do apology if I happen to indeed be mistaken, but in this unfortunate case I am certain you can pull some string in the background and have me contacted by the right people concering a membership in that exclusive club.

Words can barely describe how hard the Sky Scim facepalms over the sight of THIS first thing in the morning. *more muffled curses, and a looong suffering sigh while giving the mythic artistic birdmouse a look of utmost disapproval mixed in not little bit of disgust* ...Oh joy, what have you gotten yourself into THIS time, Zephy... We have arrived in Bayhama only YESTERDAY, you know...

Still, and despite everthing after that initiate negative reaction, Bernhard is glad and relieved that she has returned to him, in one state or the other. He whispers a very VERY light "Thank you, and welcome back to my side where you belong..." to the sleeping artist, doing his very best to, uhm, ignore the blatantly messy state she's in and cherish the comfort of her seeking his nearness by sleeping off her hangover - artistic hangover AND alcoholic hangover?! Oh my... (¬_¬) - right there on his chest. For a little bit, Bernhard will stay like this, ruffle gently through her white ruff, scratch her under the chin and on her forehead and simply watch her catching her much MUCH needed Z's... At some point, they even started to smile very lightly so. That pretty rare sight on him and even rarer display of careful affection to his most dear Pokemon however remains unseen...


...Okay, enough of sappy stuff and fuzzy feelings. Back to business.

First thing we do is gently pick Zephy up and bring her to the bathroom, where we'll try to get the worst stains of paint and Berry Juice off her feathers and fur using some aftershave as dissolvent; and bring at least some order into her coat. The fine-tuning you gotta do yourself, dear artists Mythicmon, or at least wake up first! Every now and then, Bernhard has to surrpress another headshake over whatever she has gotten herself into... But well, at least she seemed to have had her fun, without him. Can't say that he himself had not so likewise, without her. Probably better this way, in hindsight.

Then we'll collect the Flash Power (!!!!! I see what you did here Windos, and I GREATLY appreciate it! Does it have the exact same effect as stated towards you or is it edited/balanced by you further?) and broken Camera - which we'll keep - from Zephy, and bring her back to the main room. Taking a pen and 'giving' it into her tiny paw, we'll 'help' her sign any artwork collected so far via moving her paw - The signature reads 'Muse, secret rampaging artist of Bayhama City - see today's news and press!'. The artworks in question are those two collected yesterday night when she was on the loose as well as those one's she has created from the evolution of Myra yesterday - which brings me to the question over how many those are exactly, as it's been stated as 'plenty' only. (One is to be kept while the others are going to be turned into money)

........Heck, if Bernhard wasn't seated already, he'd now keel over and fall off his chair. Adjusting their reading glasses to make sure they read that right - An ACTUAL and REAL exemplar of... Ohooo, very well, very well then. VERY WELL THEN. Fu fu fu... Now that is quite the temptation and reward, now isn't that?~ Plus a trial beforehand to stay safe? Hmm...

The cowboy-researcher soon got a message in response, which reads as following :

There we go. With that done, Bernhard makes haste to the salesperson of the TM Shop, who's perhaps been awaiting them already... First up, we'll hand him over the NOW SIGNED(!) artworks. *faked suffering sigh of exhaustion, as well as hand on forehead* "Please do not ask how much of a HASSLE it was to contact the artist and copyright-owner of these, for they treasure their secrecy and privacy like a Purugly treasures its pride... But, lucky to you, I managed to establish contact to them and gather their approval to sell them for you to display, oh dear and oh-so-lucky salesman..."

No Will spent.

A morning treasure hunt on the beach sounds fun. Vernon has some strategies:

1. Using Lotad's enormous head to sift sand, like panning for gold. Has Stockpile and Thief.
2. Turtwig burrowing around. I have an image in my head of him burrowing under the sand, finding treasure, and using Growth on his head-twig to send the treasure up to the surface.
3. Munchlax's Pickup ability, Snatch, Stockpile, and Odor Sleuth moves, and his Boots' ability to avoid traps letting him go into slightly dangerous places a tourist wouldn't normally go, like a slippery boat ramp or some unhealthy water.

Also keeping an eye out for Dwebble.

If Vernon has no luck, he'll shop for a metal detector at the Survival Center when the appointment is - he's also texting everyone a reminder about that.

Persephone is problably mimicking and maybe even giving some flair to her own dancing skills, which is problably a bit more easy since her body can float in the air (despite having 0 in Perform!). Persephone while dancing, some light begin to flow around her, giving more colors to the already light place. Summon one of her favorite spells: Lucky Chant!

Spheres of light begin to go around her, and even some flow in the direction of the person Persephone is facing, using another favorite spell of her: Confuse Ray!

And finally, to give it some last flair, ghost energies, flowing from her, giving some sinister aura, to acompany Persphone gremmlin persona: Hex! 

And Oz everytime pointing while dancing and knowing what order to give Persephone!

Lucky Chant:  Special(8*)+Contest(2)+Perform(3*)-Peformance (4) = 9D6
Effect: User and allies ignore "1" in their rolls! And enemies cant land critical hits! And good things happens at the GM description! I dont know what, but I curious to see!

Confuse Ray: Special(8*)+Fight(4)+Channel(7*)-Performance (5)= 14D6
Effect: Confuse the foe.

Hex(2x): Special(8*)+Fight(4)+Channel(7*)-Performance (6)= 13D6
Damage: Special(8*)+Damage(2 or 4) + STAB (1) = 11D6/13D6
Effect: In case the enemy has any status ailment (like confusion) 2 more dice is add to the roll.

Performance!

If I recall, only 1 move can be used per round, and then we can choose to sacrifice some of our accuracy pool to make a performance while dancing. The first roll I will sacrifice 4 of my accuracy for some performance entrance in the first move, then the second will have a -5 in the second move, and the third a -6! I feel a bit adventurous after taking the calculations. If I wrong just tell me in the meta thread mate! Also, the Hex shall be used twice!

- Leaves is willing to be more covert about guarding you, though doesn’t specify How.
- Dodger says he’s available Morning or Afternoon - in the former he is going to have a ‘date’ with a young lady but can delay it to chat a bit.

In that case, a morning meeting with Dodger it is!  Seddi's schedule for the day is going to be packed again from the looks of things.

Alright, Treasure Hunt it is! Doing three sets of Secret Rolls, based on you Insight + Survival, bonuses applied!

Pwee manages to unearth a Palosand, who is NOT happy with being so rudely awakened! Quick, do something!

*Rolls* Hmm…

Turtwig pulls up a Hard Stone, worth about $1000 Poke. Easily Craftable into all different forms!

3. Munich’s Roll will be a bit more Special due to Pick Up and it being a vet nosy bear!

*Rolls*  +2 , Holy -
*Rolls 1D20 + 1* 18 + 1 = 19 , CRIT!

Munchlax pulls on your leg, and looking down you see him Holding an Egg with a Blue and Brown wavy pattern! He also has a few Shole Salts And Shole Shells too - enough for a Skilled enough person to make a Shell Bell! Last but not least he finds a Passo Berry , offering it to you too! Wow, what a windfall!

@Spiritmon : Dodger doesn’t have any qualms about you having access to Megas - if anything he seems more intrigued and excited.

“Lass like you has Mega Power? Heh, I knew you were something Special - meeting a lot of folks like that lately, and I’m Digging it! Sure, go all out with it - Me and my Partners can handle about anything JUST fine, heh heh!”

He then does something unexpected - he shows you Three Pokeballs, One Quick, One Heavy, and One Premier.

“I’m feeling like playing the odds today, so pick one - that’ll be the Mon I’ll fight ya with. Once ya choose we’re Fighting - no Healing and all gas! “

You know, I hadn't thought about it, but Vernon would looove raising an Egg. The suspense, the slowwwww development, the fact that Eggs want to travel...


Pwee is recalled, and Turtwig and Munchlax head into battle with Palossand.

"Munchlax, be ready with those boots if any sandy hazards should form. You are to rescue anyone affected! And one Lick, please!"

"Turtwig, lead with Crunch, followed by Giga Drain!"
(Vernon's attacks are always nonlethal).
Once again, these two mons have no trouble coordinating in Doubles!

Lick: 2 dex + 3 Fight + 4 Brawl + 2 Single Action = 11d6. 3 Strength +1 base, 3 chance dice to Paralyze. 4d6+1 (SE).
Crunch: 2 Dex + 3 Fight + 4 Brawl -2 actions = 7d6. 3 Str + 3 base, 1 chance dice to lower Defense. 6d6+1 (SE)
Giga Drain: 2 Dex 3 Fight + 2 Channel -3 actions = 4d6. 3 Str + 3 base +1 STAB = 7d6+1 (SE), restore half dmg as HP.


When defeated, Palossand won't be caught, but will be searched for any lingering treasures. "It's a palace, of sorts, right? That could mean treasure." Its lair will be searched too.
