Peter used Baton Pass before the Round ended for him or was KOed by Felicia, so he's safe in his Pokeball for the time being from the status and the aforementioned kitty cat. That is the way the cookie crumbles, mate.

Just one more small mechanical gripe before moving on, then.
I find it just a little lopsided that Baton Pass only passes positive stat changes in pokerole. Kinda throws off the balance of the move, and it's already pretty strong as it is in the games.
Now, that might be fine in the base version of the game since it requires Will outright, which is difficult to recover, but in a game where it uses a normal accuracy roll? Seems a bit OP to me.

Valarie DID spend a Will Point, though, to use the move, instead of just rolling for its success. He doesn't have that many Will Points left, so he gimped himself somewhat in order to pass on those status boosts. Still, BP is pretty broken already, so I'll say that swallowing the twig instead of holding it passed along the Screech Debuff as well. The crow was supposed to hold onto it, not eat the darn thing!

Whoops! One more mechanical thing I just noticed. Toxic Spikes might be able to badly poison with only a single layer, but it's a Chance Die to inflict that instead of normal poison. So it's a 5/6 chance of normal poison, 1/6 for badly poisoned.
