Creative Pokémon and Pokémon fans will be drawn in by the art, and are more likely to stick around and make their own works themselves!(06-29-2017, 03:06 PM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote:I believe he means possibly drawing some art that would make people want to joing the forum in exchange for some money (or hugs.). For example: lets saaay a bunch of trainers chilling in a nice calm room with their laptops/phones open on te forum while their smol starters are sleeping(06-29-2017, 02:59 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: The only idea I have is to keep hosting Pokerole games or DnD style game here based on Pokémon, or pay for artists to drum up some publicity! To be honest, I was about to suggest another update like the punk update. But i'm a bit sheepish when it comes to speaking about things that would cause others to work... For the main reasons of A. I feel it would be extremely rude seeing as they're working unbelievably hard already and B. I feel shameful when i ask anyone to do something that would tire them. Welp, I am no professional art-student, but I'd still be up to that, I guess... There are artists on the internet with amazing drawing styles who accept requests and draw what you tell/show them and I should be able to reach to them with a little further digging, but their work is anything else than cheap. I personally do requests that sound doable for me for free, at least for now. These are only hypothetical plans, my love, so don't feel pressure to commit anything yet! I don't have the money right now to pay for commission from really good artists, and I don't think Uranium needs any large scale publicity stunt until everything is ready for the game (Missing moves, Pokémon, and Areas in game). Then, if the Big N decides to swoop in and DMCA it into oblivion, they'll be a complete version of the game floating around the internet forever more! |
