Regardless of that interaction, I have one question concerning the gravel (Area) Trap made by the Trapinch: is it possible to use it to dig under/around the Big Rock blocking her mini-group's forward on their current tile? Because if so, I rather we get the chance to try to do so, as doubling back will be just wasting valuable time going back through old tiles AND give the MD a chance to further screw and delay them with Random (Read: Reroll) Events. That, and going back has the not insignificant chance of re-Encountering the Team Gallop (or whatever they're called), which could lead to problems given how their last interaction with Pyra went....
(Also, any Items/stuff that the Trapinch/gravel pit has, now that they've been defeated?)
If not, then its time to backtrack to the previous tile, and see what happens from there. If nothing happens, continue backtracking until Pyra's mini-group comes back to the whole group's 'entrance point' into the dungeon, then have her group try to go through the cave and see if that leads out of the dungeon or to a new part of it. Given how esoteric and strange MDs work, its not unlikely that what was a entrance now just leads to another part of the Floor's maze.

Haha, what a concert, first the soft and beautful voice of Karen and then the snarling and growling of Kee.
Ziggy Kee's quick to free himself from this gravel trap, help Karen out of it likewise, and then shove a handful of this gravel into his guitarbag. Maybe it'll turn out useful in some way, like being thrown into a foe's face as an impomptu-sand attack.
He gives off a partly proud and partly flustered smile at Karen for her thanks and opts to sctratch himself behind his yellow-tipped ear just to overplay some nervosity. "Hehehe, y.....yar welcome....~" A bit timidly yet with honest concern within his deep-red eyes he adds "Karen, dear, ya kinda.... gave me a good scare just by t'leportin' away within this Mystery Dungeon, heaven knows what may 'ave h'ppened. Listen, please try 'n learn to....C'NTROL these teleporting skills a tad bit better, 'kay? It may be, uh, scary, but ya should be good if honin' yar 'bility within a safe area - as in , NAT within a Mystery Dungeon full off wild 'Mon 'n traps. (^_^; )"

And off Kee is, zigzaging in direction of said footprints to sniff and follow them.

Ziggy Kee was halfway off already to zigzag in direction of these footprints when he halted in his tracks and turned his furry head to Kogeki.
And then, he just shrugged. It might be possible to dig under the rock or loosen it to unblock the path, but neither Pyra nor Daxter are very well equipped for digging right now, so doing so would likely take longer than just going around the rock.
The Trapinch don't appear to be holding anything, nor does anything seem to be hidden among the gravel at first glance.

When Pyra and Daxter double back to their starting point (nothing happens on the way back) and check the cave they exited from, they find that a large rock has blocked the path there, too. The cave is completely inaccessible now. How very strange...
The large tree that's obstructing the other route still stands as a daunting (but possibly easier) obstacle in the way of the duo's progress as well.

Karen meekly apologizes. "...I'm sorry...I...think Teleport might work differently in a Mystery Dungeon...I'll be more careful with it in the future..."
While Kee scoops up some gravel and puts it in his guitar bag, Karen stands aside and nervously looks away as Kogeki drains the Trapinch duo's auras. Both of them twitch, and Karen shudders uncomfortably at the same time, but the Ralts doesn't say a word about it.

The trio of pokemon backtrack to where Stufful's footprints were found.
While Kee is sniffing the footprints to get their scent so they can follow them to Stufful...
*rolls*
... he catches a whiff of...something else near Stufful's footprints. It smells...like three more pokemon were in the area recently. There's distinct smells of fire, electricity, and mud around the area. However, Kee cannot tell which way those three pokemon went.

She mumbles this to herself, expressionless and without much emphasis, but somehow it was clear she was not pleased with the developments thus far. What wouldn't she do for something to take her impotent ire out on, or something to get her and Dax past this great big tree. Or both - she's not too picky at this point.
(....Yeah, I got nothing, so unless Dax has an idea to get past that I think Pyra would go for, she and them are stuck where they are. Sorry Spirit and Phantom, but you're on your own for now.)

After make such reflections Kogeki follow Karen and Kee. He sometime used Quick Attack to increase his speed to reach them.
