It's like they all decided to collectively disappear without a trace, leaving barely any reminder behind that there once was activity. Is that some sort of mass-conspiracy? Did they - sorry for that - lost interest for some reason? If I can consider myself as one of those that disappeared, let me just say that no, I did not lost interest in Uranium's comp scene, and I'm pretty sure I never will. I'll be always lurking in the shadows, waiting for the day we all dream about. I just don't come here very often because, as Windos said somewhere in this thread, it's quite discouraging to write a guide nowadays, and, to be honest, since I've been away from Competitive Pokémon for a veeeeery long time, I don't feel like any guides I'd write today would be of the quality I want them to be. But anyway, I'm always coming here every now and then, and I have to say, it makes me really happy to see the Roleplaying section every time I come here. Just knowing that you guys are still here it's what keeps me coming back. Also, I'm always lurking around on the Breeder's Guild Discord. I haven't been very active there as well lately, but I'm always seeing the discussions over there. As I said, I'll always be around, waiting for at least the sim to be operational again and have everything we need implemented. When Uranium's comp scene arrives - and it will arrive -, I'll be there. RE: Competitive Guide: Nucleon - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 03-28-2019 Those are great words said, Jabulso, and your hope and believe are so strong it's great to see! Yes, I can understand that it may be dicouraging to write up a guide when the chance that you'll have to edit it a lot later and that it's questionable how many people will actually read and follow them. I don't play competitively, but I enjoy reading through good guides of Poke- and Fakemon I like from time to time. The Comp Scene will arrive at some point, I agree on that. ^^ RE: Competitive Guide: Nucleon - Jabuloso - 03-28-2019 (03-28-2019, 02:18 PM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: Those are great words said, Jabulso, and your hope and believe are so strong it's great to see! I do like writing up guides, but as I said, it's discouraging and I just don't have so much spare time for writing up guides just for "nothing". To be honest, when I was more active and used to play on the Sim, I made some pretty basic stuff just for myself, like Speed tiers, damage calculations and stuff like that. Theorycrafting about Uranium is really fun hahah. I can only hope that one day we can all enjoy a healthy Comp Scene. P.S.: I forgot to mention buuuuut... I quoted a post of yours from, like, two years ago, but I just saw it and felt like answering, as I'm one of those "missing people". Also, good to see some sort of discussion over here haha |
