RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 07-17-2019 So Hidden Power Water would hit everyone? Because that is basically Susano'o most powerful move, despite be a Special Attack move. 4 of base power who hit all foes. If we add Life Orb+Sheer Force+STAB+Special you have a hit all foes with a base power of 12D6. Against Fire, Ground or Rock, this move cause a lot of damage. It is Sunny Day, so it's not that powerful. And unfortunately Susano'o Life Orb, and I suppose I can't change a Hold Item in the middle of the battlefield. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 07-17-2019 (07-17-2019, 05:28 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: This encounter is designed for the whole group to be tackled all at once, yes. It's part of the challenge in this specific encounter. Then so be it. If that's the way it is, that's the way it is. Still think things could be made more manageable/convenient for us without compromising or ruining your Encounter or your intent with it, but you seem disinclined against the idea so I'll drop it for now. Ran will only deal with his group, in that case. His priority is his and his own partner's safety, and he expects the others can take care of themselves from what he's seen/heard from/about them. He'll only help out the others when he takes care of his group. They could be banned for Group Combat Encounters case by case, unless everyone's fine with them potentially disrupting their plans if they are going to be used? I'm fine with that concession, if it means GCEs go by faster and it causes less issues with among us players. It is Sunny Day, so it's not that powerful. That's a Spread Move, not an AOE move, so it only hits your opponents. And yeah, no switching Held Items in the middle of battle without Pokemon Move shenanigans. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 07-17-2019 Don't also forget @Dragonstrike that Gama is already out thanks to Camouflage, and still not detect thanks to that so he can sneak attack. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 07-17-2019 (07-17-2019, 05:30 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: Not necessarily. That was rolled mostly because that Mightyena was REALLY scary for a young pokemon, even if they are part Fairy type. Cleffa rolled Loyalty in that instance as well. ...Really? Loyalty Rolls for Non-Disobedient Pokemon? I mean, I can understand the why you decided to do them in that case, but I hope such Rolls doesn't become a common thing. If they start cropping up more often than not, then I'm probably going to start treating my Pokemon like I did with Raphael. I make no promises reckless NPCs will follow such a format, though. (Self Destructing Geodude are a good example I've used already, as Spiritmon can well tell you) Part of the reason I gave you guys the Portable PCs was so that you'd have a versatile amount of options for preparing for combat and solving puzzles/clearing obstacles. Plus, it means you can worry a little less about healing since you'll have access to a full party of 6 even if a few of your pokemon end up KOed (and pokemon left in the PC will be fully healed if left there overnight, too). Gama is currently a Steel type, btw. I'll roll a Stealth check real quick. He's probably going to need a REALLY good roll to avoid getting noticed by so many enemies, though. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 07-17-2019 A stealth spread attack with his Hidden Power RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 07-17-2019 Awesome! The plan worked very well. Capable of even Flinch one of those enemies. Did Kogeki gained some Xp in the Mightyena encounter for heroism in save Pochyena? And for Cleffa, Ralts and Gama for participating in a way or another, even if was less XP? |
