RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 07-21-2019 @PhantomUnderYourDesk, to clarify things a little, the group actually entered that corridor tile from the top right, not the bottom left. I have a tiled map layout set up for this, so positioning is important if ya don't want to end up confused/lost. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-21-2019 Ohhh, understood! Thanks for that hindsight, I've edited the attachment of my post properly then and will keep track of the path furthermore on to not get totally lost. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 07-21-2019 If PhantomUnderYourDesk and Mikaruge108 want to split up from the big group, [b]then I'm just going to have Ran wait by the entrance of B4 until somebody/the group fetches him, as I and him do NOT want to explore this floor without everyone doing so together as one tight group, but if their's going to be a group split I'd at LEAST want Ran to be at a place where he can escape. If my experience in DnD and PMD games have told me, splitting the group inside the dungeon will result in far more trouble than it's worth, so if that's going to happen I nor Ran will have any more part of that than the inherent bare min. . Other plan I had would be Ran/Kogeki secretly tailing behind Kee/Karen , but I don't want to screw with other player's choices like that, so Ran is going to stay by the stairs! RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-21-2019 So from what I am getting now, both me and Mika want to go that right turn from which the icy wind's blowing from, so that poisonous pair would stick together anyway. Kogeki follows Karen which automatically makes him take that turn too, and Ran's going to stay by the door we came from. Sounds about right and agreeable, does it? It does so for me at least. EDIT: In that case we all would take that turn towards the wind, so you could actually come too, @Lord Windos? RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 07-21-2019 (07-21-2019, 09:53 AM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: So from what I am getting now, both me and Mika want to go that right turn from which the icy wind's blowing from, so that poisonous pair would stick together anyway. Otherwise, he'll make his way back to the stairs the moment the group wants to split up. That's my general stance on the matter. So if Karen/Kogeki/Kee are all heading the same way, then so is Ran. Simple as that! RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 07-21-2019 So are we splitting up or not? Need a consensus on this. Both have their pros and cons. Then Kogeki go with Rans instead RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-21-2019 (07-21-2019, 10:17 AM)Dragonstrike Wrote: So are we splitting up or not? Need a consensus on this. Both have their pros and cons. I am for splitting up, but not into 'everyone follows their own way' but into pairs of two: Or actually, I don't really mind what the others do, but Kee does absolutely not want to run around on that floor on his own because being lost in an icy cave all alone once is enough. Given that both he and Karen want to take the turn to the right where the wind is coming from, they end up sticking with one another either way. Which is good, because they make a good team in my view. With Kogeki following Randolph now, he ends up heading back to the stairs as well - you sure that you want that, @Spiritmon? If I can make a suggestion, don't do that as it halfs the group and will put you on wait until me and Karen have found the door/stage. If you are for splitting up, it'd be handy if you could continue the corridor towards the door. If you rather not do that and take the turn as well, then everyone's taking that turn = no splitting, which leads to Randolph coming too for now. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 07-21-2019 Well, the better we scout the place the better. Besides, in two groups is better for not everyone be alone. Need a consensus on this. Both have their pros and cons. I frankly don't want to split the group, but if that ends up being the case, Ran's parking his rear by the stairs until the people that split off return and pick him up to journey towards the next objective as one big group. Or wait a three to four hours and then exit Snowpoint Temple, as he figures by then whomever split off has suffered an unfortunate fate for doing so, and its now time for him to get out. That too! Essentially, I want everyone to stay as one big group, but if the party is to split, Ran is just not going to be exploring the floor and guard the stairs instead. That's it, really. |
