"Right then. Let's hightail it to your vehicle and start makin' our way over to that embassy building, Dodger. Don't fancy running into a Wandering Hurricane or the like. I'm here to study the critters that call this place home, but I don't have a death wish."

Hopefully Dodger slows down when they actually get to the city. For traffic safety, of course. But Seddi hasn't forgotten about the other six individuals nor that gemstone either...

On the way back, Seddi will shoot the Professor a text message to keep her updated.

Headed to the city now. Captured a young Sutalöran Paradox you'll likely be interested in taking a look at later.

"Heh, guess I really don't, eh rustler? *Smirks* That just means I'll have plenty of fun trying to figure ya out, lucky me!"

Surprisingly enough the Sand Crawler returns your salute with an affirmative *ZZzsSS!* and some *CLACKING!* and went back into his Ball smooth and easily. Exceptionally tolerant Paradox they are indeed...

Oh, and Goodra returns your gesture with a friendly head pat! No goo on your hat too - they know how to control their Abilities VERY well!

Dodger returns your request with a "Righty-o! Let's Extreme Speed on outa here!" and a two finger salute, and the both of you make your way to his ride a bit ahead: a Hovercraft Dragster that's Bigger on the Inside! I won't go into huge detail about it, but suffice to say several people could comfortably live and travel in this vehicle, the front two door were in those fancy 'Open Up' style that lead into the cockpit, while the backdoors lead to the living area.

You get yourself comfortable in the plush memory foam chairs and strap yourself in as the Dandy Man begins all pre-Drive checks and begins priming the engines, and shoot that text of yours to the Professor. Almost immediately you get a reply back:

Already? Great work. Eagerly awaiting to see the Native Paradox. Will works towards Project in the mean time. Poppy also called; I said you were okay but too busy to speak. Recommend putting phone on 'Not Receiving' to keep her from discovering what happened.

On a whim you did as she asked, and just as you put away the phone Rodger gives the car a B I G *R E E V*, and you could feel the bone deep vibrations that went through the cockpit. He turns towards you, sporting a grin that spoke of both sauve comfort and eager anticipation of what was to come.

"All ready to rumble and tumble to Bayhama! I see you're strap in put away all the gizmos, so without further ado..."

Dodger shifts the car into 'Maximum' Gear, from what you can see of the holographic display, flicks a bunch of switches on, and flips open a hatch, revealing a Big Red Button.

"LIGHTSPEED TIME, BABY!!!"

He slams the button -

And you knew nothing but pure SPEED....

....Swiftly, the two of you arrived in Bayhama proper at such Speed that even a Inflagetah on Agility and EXS would blush enviously, passing by all checkpoints and gates with ease (Something about Dodger 'being a familiar face' letting him bypass such things) and getting you deep within city limits. Eventually you had enough, and request to be let off early, which he obliges with a cheeky grin, letting you step off (and regain your equilibrium) right near the entrance of what looks to be a quiet lil' park.

"Guess that's it for us grooving together, 'least for now! *Points!* Just head that way for a few blocks, and you'll eventually get on a subway that'll lead ya directly to the embassy! Call me if you got any juicy stories to share or something interesting ya want to pawn off (He gave you his number at some point during the ride...), k' mate? *Grins* Well, it's been nice hanging with ya, Seddi. Be well in these Wild Lands, and do as I always say: Stay Dandy !! "

With that he rolls up his window, and with a *ZOOM!* the Dandy Man is rocketing off deeper into the city, gone in a blink of an eye.

Just as you recovered your bearings and was about to meet up with the Professor, your Gemstone suddenly *Pulses*, and you can feel it tug you towards a direction. A direction that so happens to be the lil' park, further and deeper within.

Looks like this is were you can meet up with at least one other SOUL - how Fortunate.

Tilting your hat down and mustering all your poise and style, you let the Gemstone guide you, leading you into the Park...

"Sorry, I know this might be hard to believe, but, I have to meet some people." "Well Strong Shoot. *Sighs* What have you gotten yourself into THIS time. *Shrugs* Guess this adventure of ours is going to be more exciting than we though, eh? Lead on, boy."

The two of you leave the terminal, winding your way out and into the grand city proper - soon enough, and far sooner than you think was possible, both of you were already heading deep with a lil ol' Park...

The dear moment soon had to find an ending though, because let's not forget where they were and who they are. Therefor, Myra is recalled into her Dusk Ball again - "There'll be plenty opportunities later on to practice working with your newly-awaked powers; for now, rest up", Zephy is asked to return the Astral Stone at last (which becomes Bern's new Held Item, and is placed into the exact same inner chest pocket of their robe that previously held the Fire Stone) as well as requested to slip into the robe's sleeve again to hide her away from prying eyes (because you don't run around with a vivid Mythic just like that!), and finally - taking a literal and figurative leap of faith, off the edge of the skyscraper's roof they go. Perhaps an act of insanity for the average man to do so without much secound thought, but Bernhard was everything but the average. By far not. Actually, they could not resist to pull of some show/display of power by going down in grace and style, being a Scim of high ranks and all. How used Bayhama's townsfolk is to Scimitars literalls falling from the sky he does not know, but he'll soon find out.

Action: Perform Check for a fall with grace and style please, and I'll sink the remaining 6XP I had from initial XP-distribution into Bern's first point of Perform. Once we're actually down to earth again, see where the Astral Stone 'pulls' them, and decide from there whether to follow it or whether to make haste to the docks in direction Mageocracy to see their former Mentor as well as the other important figure.

Zephy was drooling as she hastily (but MAGNIFICENTLY) captured that Smile and the sweet, tender moment between you two, mumbling 'YES YES YES!' and giggling like a (art) junkie just got her fix. Zephy has made PLENTY of Pictures and copies of this Event; if you are so inclined you could easily sell the copies for around $1500 Poke, or perhaps even more if you were willing to deal with you far club...

Myra looks sad at being Recalled so soon, but obey with a dutiful nod - and a good lick to the face and one last snuggle for good measure! Zephy was trying (and failing) to contain her 'Daws' to herself, but she sobered up and went up your sleeves once more as requested.

" 'Right, let's see where this Astral Stone and Fate takes us both, Partner! Now spread those wings of those and FLY!"

Spirits and mood now thoroughly lifted and buoyed, you decide to indulge in your artist buddy's request for theatrics, preparing yourself....!

You jump back onto the very edge of the skyscraper....before tipping over the side, head first. Then, just as your feet were about to leave the edge, you *P u s h * onto it, sticking there and defying gravity for one moment...

*BOOM!*

And you were off, cracking the edge as you spiraled your way through the air with an audible Zoo-Boom!, Zephy laughing with excitement as you both barreled through the sky and startling several Flying Type. A few people from below notices and pointed up, some in excitement, so with familiarity - Scimitars flying around Bayhama was not an uncommon sight, but it was always something interesting to look at, especially those with a sense of flair to their flight. Something you had in spades as you made an abrupt stop mid arm, yet again defying the forces of gravity, pressing your feet against seeming thin air...!

*BOOM!*

...And off you went again - this time heading off in the direction where the Astral Stone was tugging you. Speedily, you made your way there, arriving over of a lil' patch of park. Looking down it, you adopted you tried and true aloofness and nodded to yourself, you descended, going past the trees and to directly to were the others were at...

In the middle of the park, there was a clearing. Wide, open, plain as it can be. The only thing of note was the long, flat stone that was planted right in the middle, smooth as it can be. Perfect to have a picnic on!

And a perfect place for a meeting too.

One by one, each of the Souls came.

The Warding Soul from the North, stalking out from the trees as they pleased.
The Wreathed Soul from the East with Mentor in toe, both wary but curious as to what this was all about.
The Wanderlust Soul, already present, sitting down and having a small snack with his Pokemon.
The Wistful Soul descending down on high, lording over all with a domineering air.
The Wake'd Soul,appearing from the West from seeming nothing as they tiredly walked onto the grass.
The Weary Soul appearing from the South, hunched over on themselves but still going ever forward.
The Wised Soul coming forth from the shadows, silent as they were bold.

All the Souls together, so shortly yet at long last.
Together as one, their Gemstones/Astral Stone *pulsed* as one, before the feeling fadded away.

Leaving only with themselves to guide thy Fates.

So began The Meeting of the Brave, an event that, one day, perhaps, would go down as one of the biggest moments in History....

Seddi's Theme: Yotabu's Theme - Histrobea Chronicles

Appearing from the trees to the north is someone who looks like they'd fit in with the wilderness of this region. Decked out in stereotypical cowboy leathers with a hat and spurs to match, the Warding Soul looks every bit as rough and tough as someone you might expect to see in wild, untamed lands. He has a short, well kept beard and sideburns, his hair blonde in color. His eyes are a rather piercing yellow, but there's also a hint of something else in those eyes, something more to him...

There's just one part of his physical outfit that looks out of place: the dark black gloves he's wearing, with a white colored symbol of a compass on the back of the right hand glove (a symbol that Aaron would almost certainly recognize. Whether the other player characters do may vary, however)

Accompanying him is a Ceruledge. The ghostly warrior is giving their partner a confused look, but they stand there silently and loyally all the same. The violet flames of their sword arms are low, indicating they're not on edge right now, but they're staring at the other seven people very intently, trying to get a read on them.

The cowboy looks at the gathered individuals-taking note that one of them is accompanied by the Sinnoh Elite 4's Aaron-then pulls the star shaped gemstone out of his pocket, holding it in front of himself with two fingers for all to see. He's getting straight to the point.

"If my hunch is right, y'all got a gemstone too, correct? Looks like we're all from rather different walks of life. Can't imagine us all being here is a coincidence."

Slowy (very slowy) a person appear outside of the woods. A young lady, who from its clothes and demeanor, looks like to be at his 26 years more or less. She carry a bag in her behind, who anyone close could smell some kind of scent of herbs and other natural things.

She carry with her black clothes, with short sleevs. Some parts of her clothes carry triangle pieces, who jiggle every time she walk, having some kind of short sound. She have black hair, in a kinda of wild style, but put a style like a pair "antenna" in the front. The most proeminent details of her its a scar in its forehead like a "X" and a pair of yellow eyes, almost like golden.

She also have a pair of gloves, one Red and one Blue, with the letter "O" in the red glove and "Z" in the blue one. Despite the timid look, her eyes looks fierce, like ready to any danger ahead.

However, she is not alone, a big, dark black bird Pokemon its in her shoulder, looking menace and ready to tear to shreds any possible threat or anyone close. The Pokemon also carry a metalic beak in its beak.

She looks a bit confuse, and then looks in her pouch, and find it. A gemstone with the triangular spike, and having a triangular hole in its reaches half a inch in. Its have a bright color who flux between grey black and red.

She looks around, to the gather of people around her. She gulp, and then look at her Pokemon.

"I guess Lady Luck is not with good mood today Fortuna. Thats funny and weird at the same time."

She look at the cowboy person, and trying to keep a smile on her face, she show her Gemstone. "If you are speaking about this stone, I suppose it is a yes." She show her two gloves, putting the two together. "Name Oz. Nice to meet ya. And thats in my shoulder..." She points towards her Honckrow. "Its Fortuna. Dont mind her scary face, she is like this to most people. But she is cool. Sometimes."

Akamu's theme: Tapu ruins, Pokemon Sun and moon

Appearing from seemingly nowhere, a man slowly emerges from the West, carrying a pretty large backpack with two pairs of eyes inspecting the new environment.

Clad in pretty standard gear with very extravagant colours, posessing patterns most wouldn't recognize, The Wake'd Soul emerges, His light blue hair bright in the sunlight and his indigo eyes halfway closed. He gives a weak smile, gemstone in hand as he looks around, taking note of the people present.

Quickly a Mareanie jumps out of the backpack and.. onto his head? The little spike ball excitedly hopping around while checking out all the new faces from his newly tall viewpoint.

The second pink pair of eyes turns out to be a *shiny* Hakamo-o, staring out of her safe heaven while her tail swishes behind her. Seems like she's the cautious of the crew.

His voice perks up, sounding like he's been working the whole day. ''Akamu is my name. So you are who *she* and this stone wanted me to meet, I'm not quite sure what the reason for this commotion is but I wouldn't dare doubt *her* judgement. Nice to meet you guys.''

Darren's theme: Servant of the Crystal (Final Fantasy Type-0)

As Darren reaches the park, he sees the other souls already present, he too shows his gemstone, and to Seddi's question, "Yep. Name's Darren." Some of the first things one would notice is the six Net balls at Darren's belt. He appears to be in his 20's or 30's, but an initial glance wouldn't be able to tell, his brown hair lightly moves in whatever wind got kicked up by the Wistful Soul's entrance. His eyes that almost match his hair take in the park.

(Ahahaha, very neat, now THAT flight was very decent show and display of power from my chara. I like the description an lot, well done, Windos! One of the copies of Zephy's artwork of Bern and Myra is definitely going onto the wall in their private room/chamber/lab for memoria [read: Their way to show thankfulness], the others are kept for now - sounds like a decent emergency saving for rainy days.

My chara's theme: Cult of the Lamb - Shamura's domain, Bishop of Wisdo m and War

Keeping their personal distance from everyone else and remaining howering mid-air thanks to Magic!, The Wistful Soul patiently waits and observes. Their face remains stoic with an almost omnipresent frown, little to no emotion is displayed on the outside. Their middle-length, straight blackish hair that partly covers their face like a curtain or frame, and the middle-aged man (roughly 47 y/o) does not look very sturdy or powerful from outwards appearance alone, given how thin and lanky they are looking. Yet, there is some palpable domineering aura lingering in the air, as it should for a member of the Scimitar society of their high rank.

Speaking about it: Their noticeably fine, quite androgyn and almost-royal looking robe is held in a lightish blue color with silver and white ornaments and runes, indicating a belonging to the relatively new fraction of Sky Scims. The hood is on, further obscurring their face, and the arms are crossed. The trademark-Gauntlet is worn however - naturally, given Bernhard cannot take it off as its cables are surgically connected to the veins of their hand. But they wanted it so. And just for safety measures, a non-verbal Invisible Spell is cast on Zephy - Yes she's comfortably hidden away in one of the robe's loose sleeves, but you never know. Too often she has already attracted more attention than Bernhard wanted. 'Hush, please don't you dare make any sound now', the artsy birdmouse is carefully and telepathically reminded.

"...Greetings. A fine place chosen by Lady Luck, Miss Fortune and Father Fate.*long pause*" Their voice is quiet, almost cold, but it somehow still gives off a mildly commanding vibe. They let their piercing gaze wander from one of the group's attendants to another, before closing his eyes and looking down. And in contrary to the others, they are NOT drawing their stylus-shaped gemstone to openly display, nope. ""Bernhard's my name, or the one I'm known as. Why I am here and whether I do or don't have one of these Gemstones like you others is none of your business. But I am certainly not here for no reason." Looks like they prefer to keep their secrets indeed.

- Has some ties to Neo Unova, but in what way is not shared, and he's in-chara not really proud of it how these ties were created.

I'm assuming you're fine with flashbacks and flashforwards like we used in Skull Ruins.

If I might be permitted a very tiny retcon:
The Wanderlust Soul isn't found sitting at a picnic table. That guy is more often found on the move - he comes trotting over a hill in the distance along a path in the park, occasionally glancing at his stone, which is in the shape of a leaf. He hasn't spotted you guys yet.

He also seems to have a leaf or branch tucked under one arm, until he turns a curve and you can see it's actually a Turtwig, with its eyes half-closed. The human and the Pokemon are each chewing on their own stem of grass.

The human is dressed simply, with a wide brim straw hat, skintight leather gloves, blue jeans, and a vest open over a T-shirt. He's got a practical sling backpack on. His hair falls below his ears or is swept under the hat, seemingly at random. He is clean shaven or perhaps cannot grow a beard.
His shoes are heavily worn, with no tread left on them and mismatched laces. He walks as if he knows he'll arrive at his destination no matter what may befall him.

The only distinctive thing about the Turtwig is it's got some sort of simple metal apparatus on its head, reinforcing its jaws and skull. However, this dangerous-looking apparatus is simply holding a stem of grass at the moment.

Then there's a thundering noise, and a Munchlax comes stampeding up behind, passing up the human and tearing off into the brushiness outside the path. The clomping noise seems to be because the Munchlax is wearing huge boots that are much too large for him. Munchlax pokes his head out of the brush to look at the human and gibbers excitedly, pointing deeper within.

The man, who is probably about college age or maybe a little younger, with broad shoulders and a little extra weight around the belt line, follows Munchlax and inspects something in the brush. Liking what he sees, he politely takes the grass stem and holds out Turtwig in both hands. Turtwig stirs, reaches out its metallic beak, and neatly clips the plant (or whatever.) The man takes it into his possession and replaces the grass stem in Turtwig's mouth.

Vernon will take the Flowers and Tree Searching encounter - if it's fitting, it can be the encounter described above. If it's not fitting, that can be some other plant, maybe just a flower he thinks is purty.

Insight 3 + Survival 2 + Nature 3 = 8
Other skills that might be relevant: Alert 2, Crafts 2, Knowledge 1, Medicine 1.

When that's done, the lad follows his gut and the stone over to the group (Munchlax gets there first) and lazily identifies himself as Vernon. He flashes his leaf gemstone in response to Dragonstrike's question.

Vernon might recognize Aaron, as he's from Sinnoh and specializes in a type Vernon is interested in.

The snack part Windos mentioned is definitely canon, as Vernon puts the grasses behind his ear and has a snack while he looks around curiously at the others.

He doesn't press Bern but indicates he's willing to share food with them.

Munchlax teases Turtwig about the Honchkrow's metal beak, which looks much more intimidating and fashionable than Turtwig's practical one.

The cowboy nods to each person as they introduce themselves and show their gemstones. And as for Bernhard...well, the mage simply being present at all speaks volumes, even if they aren't forthcoming with information, so he doesn't see a need to press the mage for specifics either. He'll give the gauntlet an appraising and interested look briefly though. Definitely an impressive piece of tech.

He would wait for the last soul to introduce themselves ('A local from the looks of them'), and then he'd properly introduce himself after putting his gemstone away.

Seddi straightens the glove on his right hand, putting the symbol of a compass on full display. "Folks call me Seddi. Seddi M. Entary, Ace Trainer of the Paldean League. Pleasure to meet y'all. I reckon we're goin' to be seeing a lot of each other if what that...voice said about 'determining Sutalör's fate' was true. I certainly have little reason to doubt it, though I wouldn't blame any of y'all for havin' doubts about it yourselves. It's certainly a rather...strange claim to be makin'. But what is Sutalör if not strange?"

Seddi will look at Aaron next. "This all must sound rather odd to you, sir. I take it you're traveling with that fellow? Very interestin' to see one of Sinnoh's Elite Four clear out here."

And then mentally, Seddi will communicate with Leaves briefly.

[You rebooted and feelin' a little more chipper, Leaves? May need you in a second, depending on how this conversation goes with these individuals. Briefly met them before I ended up on that beach. They heard a little about our mission already. Reckon some of them might be able to help if they're willin'.]

Fortuna did notice the Munchax talking about her. She just give them a straight look of seriousness. She is not willing to play.

However, Oz was for there to tell her Pokemon to chill out. "Hush Fortuna! No need to be mean to other people Pokemon. Specially ones so cool!"

Fortuna give a look of exasperation, and decided to relax in some tree. She has no time for this. She have better things to do.

Oz had a deep sigh of exasperation. "Damn it. *Sigh* Even after so long, she is still arrogant as ever. Even after evolution." Oz apologetic turn to Vernon. "I terrible sorry for this Mr Vernon. I hope there is no problem with ya. She is very strong, not to mentioned experience, so she normally like this with people and Pokemon alike. I always try to work with her personality but...*Sigh* its complicated as you can see."

Oz give Seddi a bow of respect. "Its a pleasure and a honor to see a Ace Trainer from the Paldean League."

When Seddi speak about the voice and the thing about determing Sutalor fate, Oz visibly winces. "Yeah...Dont reminds me. It was sure is a weird experience. I...not much of a fighter. I much of a healer. I not much in the "save" region department."

"But..." She claps her hands, trying to get courage. "I guess one way or another fate gather us, and we be see each other for a while." She look at everyone.
