"I've never seen a Dondozo myself. Just legends. I don't think it's very bright, but it's very large, and that's why I'm interested in it."

"Hm?  Oh, Sylvia!  Fancy seein' you here!  I think I should have a moment.  Not long though.  Have a rather important meetin' I need to be gettin' to."

He looks around, seeming to expect to see someone else.  "Hmmm...is Randy not with you right now?  I would have expected him to be sticking close to you.  Unless you purposefully snuck away from him?"

Now why would Sylvia be here of all places?  Maybe...?  He looks at the Espeon curiously, trying to solve this puzzle.

>>Randy was to escort me here safely, and to help set up my status as an independant pokemon. Of those objectives, the first is complete and the second postponed. I'm exploring on my own today.
>>If time is of a concern, I can take an answer succinct, or even at another time. But I'm curious, and Professor Sada said you were the one to ask - I'd like an explanation of Paradoxes.
>>Additionally, if at all possible, I'd like to meet your telepathic partner.

"Huh! Well, if it's giants you want then maybe you want to pay a visit to the Wild life Park! They got all sorts of big critters from out deep in the wilds for ya to gander at! *Hesitation* If you want to do the hunting yourself, though...well there is the Green Mountain Valley and the depths and heights of Mt. Twinspires to search for the big'ems. Deep blue contains many 'critters of abnormal size in the undersea' , or so goes the fishing tales. *Frowns* Fair warning - you're liable to get eaten by those very same giants or smooshed into a Pecha pancake, so I wouldn't go hunting for those giants until you're good and ready, and maybe not even then from the stories that have been told..."

First things first: She decided to go to the police station first and inform the cops about the experience, the description of “John” appearance and his thugs underlings. After take the necessary information gave, she send a message to everyone:

Hey. Oz here. Got some terrible, terrible encounter with a group of people. A guy called “John” looks like the leader of the group. They are like this (insert description of the guys). I'm gonna go to the Koffee Kafe for a meeting with Bernard. Gonna get some help with the cops before I do something.

My choice of Pokemon for the buff Savior Be Me will be Fortuna. She is gonna be helpful with Flying and Spread Moves.

Oz also requested a cop to accompany her if possible to Kudo Koffee Kudos since she still needs some security. Also she is still frightened with the possibility of meeting John or his underlings again. And decided to wait for Bernard with a cop, since is still scared.

There isn't a Station nearby, but you DO find a cop and a few volunteer Trainers in short order and vent about your nearly dire fate at the hands of these 'BBs' and their Boss. Grim yet empathetic, a escort formed up around you to the Center to treat your Wounds, while several people in groups of 3 or more went out to hunt down these bastards and spread the word of the sharp and drastic increase of violence of this gang. At the rate they're going the police are going to crack down on them like a ton of brick sooner than later - and then the next stage of the game is started // Gang War

You dearly hope you are not involved any further.

Once your Wounds are treated, you are escorted to the café, with a single officer stationed outside and several more now tightly patrolling the street to keep that situation IN control and those horrible thugs OUT.

The Options for what to do here are the same as started earlier, though for the moment you opt to wait outside and near the cop for Bern before you venture in further...

Well, Sylvia won’t be playing at Stylist alone… Sir and Murkrow are both asked (told) to join in (if Gargryph lets them). Sylv’s not one to treat it as a blow to her pride, either - rather, she takes joy in helping Gargryph look as positively stunning as she can. Maybe she'll even try some stylist-y small talk - ask about interesting places to go in town, gossip, and such. And by the end… well. Maybe it’s her inner Umbreon genes, but she does take some pride in the final result…

Edit: stylistic goal: Shiny Tenebris
(Geez, wish I had realized I could backlog and shiny hunt sooner… Shiny Tenebris is *gorgeous*)

Murkrow gawked and gave an affronted stare at your request (Demand), but Sir hopped right to it, replacing his main weapon with a few stiffer feathers and what looked like a nail file from....somewhere and getting started on pampering and styling the Gargyph. That bird warrior of yours....his Loyalty and commitment to you was such that Fairy Queens and their courts would praise it. Ask anything of him, and he'd do it. No matter what. It was hard trying to not unintentionally exploit that, but with time you struck a good balance with the lovable birdy, and his dedication towards you only grew leap and bounds as a result.

Eventually a few threats of denying some good meals got the raven to pitch in, though their efforts were halfhearted at best as they grumped throughout it. With you own considerable telekinetic and self-grooming prowess (taking care of a coat as fine as yours is serious work!), you all try to do your best to smooth out all the wear and tear this stone griffon has accumulated over the years.

Doing a Roll, just 'cuz: (5)(2)(4)(2)(6) + 1 (Stylist!) = 4 Successes!

Vain and egotistical for you praise yourself, but after seeing Gargyph *sparkle* in the light and it looking over itself in muted awe....well, you're allowed some indulgences. Sir seemed happy with the work too, while Murkrow rolled their eyes and made themselves scarce, flying over to another building to watch and wait for things to be over.

Small talk fails - they are just not great at it, giving only dry reports of what it 'watches' - though asking about its interests reveals a strange fascination with briefcases and bicycles of all things. Gossip fails, as they're not even aware of the concept until you told it to it - and they immediately dismissed it as something 'beyond it' . Interesting Places included the Boardwalk (particular a club with fox critters it like to watch and imagine chasing around/hunting) and elephants, as well as a few small churches it felt drawn to visit from time to time. It also like to fly off to the boarder every now and again to meet with family and share reports, once you managed to coax it enough to speak about that.

Overall, Gargyph is very well pleased with your efforts - enough that it's been given pause, unsure if it wants to dimish you forever or not at this point. Hmm...

Spirtzee quite obviously enjoyed all the pets and TLC, but eventually you do have to Return them, which causes them to pout. Your promise of future Stones and Gems to play with does wipe it away Lickytung spit, though, causing them to trill with delight before Happily returning to their Ball. Again, you have to admit - Morgana sure did know how to pick them! Not surprising considering she's all but one of the Rulers of a Region, but it was hard to remember that consider how seemingly focused on her own schemes and fun in the Mageocracy. Which may be part of the point - nobody underestimates her, but they can't even begin to fathom everything she's capable of.

Mr. Gleam is still Asleep, but this has an explanation - Morgana told you she specifically put him in a 'Healing Slumber, most needed dire' , since there turned out to be a LOT of compounding health issues that have been piling up and worsened by his tireless and extremely stress work and getting his daughter the help she desperately needed. She didn't really care about the fate of the man, but figured that since you went through all the effort to help his daughter you probably wouldn't want the guy having his own medical crisis either. Or worse, dying and becoming responsible for a child - though that tangent piqued the Fae Lady's fancies until you managed to distract her. NOPE, you are not ready for children yet, nuh uh! Taking care of your Mons and Morgana is hard enough as is, seesh!

Zephy, unsurprisingly, continue to ignore you, something you are frustrated by but grateful for in this instance. They still shoot you the stink eye every now and again, much to Nirix's worry. They'll settle down once treatment of Saph begins, however - they're not THAT petty to let wounded feelings jeopardize the health and recovery of someone like her!

Saph...her breathing has appeared to become ever so slightly more stable, and you could see the tell-tell signs she was getting close to Wakefulness. As it stand you could wait for her to Awaken, or simply pipe in the Pancea and do what little Curse Breaking you can with or without help.

The Pendant lit up like a flare, feelings of 'anticipation' , 'relief' , and 'urgency' welling up through your contact with it. You have a strong feeling this Pendant would prove to be useful yet again during this - hopefully - last check up and treatment of the lil' ill lass.

How are you going about Curing Saph from her Curse?

If Lani is out and in your bag the Guide gets even more excited, thrilled to see yet another Pseudo Trainer particpate in the Tour, and such a lovely looking lil Dragon at that. Your sparkling Fighter tries to play at disinterest, but the fawning does stroke her ego the right way enough for a smirk to slip through every now and again.

Akamu has no questions and is ready to begin, though the blush does not go unnoticed. He would keep it to himself for now but getting along with Lani was a great start, after all she was usually very sceptical towards strangers.

Seddi will look at his watch before giving the Espeon a long, hard stare.

"Well now, who'd ya pick that word up from?"

He relaxes physically, though he's being extremely careful with his thoughts again.  "Well, no matter.  Paradox Pokemon aren't a big secret 'round these parts anyways.  You won't hear locals callin' them that, though.  It's just what us folks from Paldea call the critters.  The short explanation is that they're pokemon that defy modern understandin'.  Primal beasts that look like they could have jumped out of ancient history books or robots with advanced sentient AIs beyond any modern inventor's skills.  Far as Paldea's scientific community knows, they shouldn't exist, and yet they do.  That is why we call them Paradoxes."

After pausing to let that sink in, Seddi continues by responding to the latter request.

"You want to know more, I'm goin' to need a little more info on where you're from and what you're doin' here. You and Randy may be nice folk at first glance, but everyone workin' with the Professor and I needs to go through a simple background check first.  Our research on Paradox Pokemon is highly sensitive."

And Seddi very purposefully communicates this last part mentally instead of our loud.

[Especially if ya want to properly meet my top secret partner.  Can't have her make an appearance without good reason.]

Well...he's open to the idea of filling Sylvia in, provided his conditions are met.  This is a far cry from how friendly he was yesterday, though.  He's more obviously on guard, even more particular with his words.

With international comms down, an actual background check could take awhile to verify though.  If Sylvia has some credentials that Seddi would recognize and could verify, however...

..Oh? Morgana has put Mr.Gleam in a Healing Slumber? Now that explains quiiiite a lot. It is much appreciated and pleasant to know though, how insightful of her!~ Bernhard would give her yet another tender kiss on the back of her pearly hand as thanks, before quite obviously doing everything to distract her from...that tangent, yeah.

Zephy.....ignoring her Master, Partner and Wielder is rude, but he can see where it's coming from so it is somewhat accepted for now, somewhat grateful for he even happens to be. We'll let her take her time to unwind and sulk if that's what she wants to do, and hope that the smol Mythic won't hold its grudge for too long. Not the first time something like this has happened though, so Bernhard is confident things will be fine soon enough. Hopefully. Probably. If anything, he knows how to get back into good terms with her, one way or the other.

And now... The fateful time has eventually come, Bernhard did BOTH anticipate and fear that moment, the pressure of being like 'the last hope' weighted heavily on his shoulder (he did not display that however, no). For a bit, he would just be there at Saph's side in complete silence, burning + smoking incense sticks of Sage, the Saphire Pendant held softly yet confidently in his Gauntet'ed hand, Zephy perking on his shoulder to keep watch, Myra and Nirix being invited to come to his side to provide silent company and quiet reassurance. In such meaningful moments, Bernhard did highly value his chosen Pokemon's company, as much as he vows prefering to be left alone and by himself. How the Saphire Pendant flared up upon contact, how these feelings of 'anticipation' , 'relief' , and 'urgency' are reaching hi- no, are reaching out to him - is answered with a gentle look and quiet words of "Do not be fearful. I am here, at last and eventually..." *gently tightening grip on it, closing eyes, and lowering voice to nothing but a mere whisper* "Please, stay with me. Help me, aid me, like you did yesterday. Please... do make this work. Please... do awake dear Saph. I wish for her to... be conscious for this."

To help with awaking her to consciousness, can we please cast a gentle Aromatherapy from Spritzee over her via Evocation?
