At the end when nobody else was looking he'd hand the guide a note with his number. She was free to call though he was busy today.
He'd turn to Seddi after leaving the building,
"I know you're a busy man but if you do have the time I'd be up to start our training. I understand if you don't but this is a good opurtunity."
If he is indeed busy Akamu would use encounter 3 to check the surrounding district and maybe find a nice lost item or the like to take with him.
"*Worried look* That...I don't know why that place is important to you, but I recommend staying far away. It's in the running for the Top 5 Most Dangerous Places in Sutalor, right alongside Twinspire Depths, the Glimmering Seas, Auroruborus Valley during summer, *Shudders* and the Caldronic Wellspring. Well, if we're not counting wherever the Calamaties call home or the 'special' regions, but those are in a class of their own. Jellies, Dire Dartz, Wedgeaquillas, and occassionally Barishisska, Flutter Manes, and Rumbling Mountains are found there with relative abundance, most of the wild life is either hideously Poisonous, terribly effective Ambush predators, or simply highly territorial. Dire Dartz in particular call the Mangroves home, and they don't appreciate random people trespassing
"Still, if you must know, the whole of the Picaross Mangroves lies between Bayhama, Verdantia, and Quarmire. Easiest way to enter without getting horribly lost or getting gobbled up by the locals is to hire a Lepia tribesman to escort you there from either Verdantia or Quarmire, or follow the Picaross River until you hit where it meets Whitefalls River, then inward, as if you were taking a direct path to Bayhama. The former means you got to put up with being overcharged or follow their rules to a T or get ditched, and the later is risky due to the possibility of getting swept away by the rivers or its critters. Either way you're be in for a muggy and perilous time, so if you got plans to be there best prepare - LOTS of Antidotes and Repels, waterproof material for camp, and electric heating of some kind for food in case it rains non-stop."
The lady is surprised by the gesture, before blushing and tucking away your number, favoring you with a shy but interested smile. Lani rolls her eyes at this Weak courtship - where's the dancing and proving one's worthiness with Battles and displays of Power and Skill?
I'll wait until Dragonstrike confirms if he wants to share an Encounter with you before I roll out any Exploration Encounters.

As a reminder, around the time your 2nd Encounters end and Oz's 3rd one began is when she sent her Text out, which is as described below:
Quote:Oz clearly was scared after such an experience. First things first: She decided to go to the police station first and inform the cops about the experience, the description of “John” appearance and his thugs underlings. After take the necessary information gave, she send a message to everyone:
Hey. Oz here. Got some terrible, terrible encounter with a group of people. A guy called “John” looks like the leader of the group. They are like this (insert description of the guys). I'm gonna go to the Koffee Kafe for a meeting with Bernard. Gonna get some help with the cops before I do something.
Be sure to include that in your posts if you plan on reacting to it!

Darren heads out to see what's in store for him
Commercial Boardwalk is mostly deserted and devoid of the previous liveliness and crime that defined it throughout the day. Police were wrapping up the case involving the Disco Shop and were patrolling the area in full force after reports of those goons assaulting Oz, while most Trainers and Mons have headed home by now. There are two things you do spot that stand out, however:
1. A Man dressed in what looks to be some sort of cross between a white hoodie and priest cloths was giving a sermon to somebody, who looked completely enthralled with their bombastic energy and utter zeal. *Rolls* ...They look similar to that nun you Encountered yesterday; judging by the vibes this guy was giving off even from here he probably has a similar deal going on. Go check it out?
2. Haunting yet captivating singing was coming from a rest stop area; the overhead street lamps around there were flickering erratically, and even glancing over you felt an intense, unmistakable chill prevade you. 'Danger!' your body seems to scream; unfortunately not everyone's sense were tuned in, for you spot a mother and their child heading right over and through the area.... Intervene?
Alternatively, you could try to find and secretly crash and spy on the Test that Seddi, Oz, and Bernard will take; you'll certainly not be bored and there could be much to learn watching it all.

Vernon hands the Wide Lens over without a thought.
You can see an emotion in his eyes when he spots the Prism Scale - not a covetousness, though. "Ah, that brings back memories. We used to find Feebas on the farm back home, just every now and then, when they'd swarm in the irrigation ditches."
For vehicles:
"How many people can fit in one vehicle? Is there something Wilds-capable that can handle a whole party on one set of wheels? Can they outspeed dangerous Pokemon? Can they withstand a first attack?"
For firearms:
"All I'd like to know about is the kind of firearms that would have a chance against unusually powerful Pokemon. Anything useful in defense against Pseudos or stronger?"
Seddi looks a little confused at first when Vernon just gives him the Broken Wide Lens, but then shrugs and puts the item in his bag. He'd only intended to tell Vernon that it was probably worth keeping ahold of the item. If Vernon doesn't want it though, who is he to object?

Vehicles:
“That depends on the kind you want, and what tech they have. Smallest are our one person cycles, the two man cycles or Forestress Buggies, then 4-Man Scizor Jeeps and Escavaler Convoys, and lastly Durant Class All Terrain Transports! And those are only the standard models - we got more specific designs for speed , defense, or pure firepower. All the vehicles themselves can survive a heck of a lot of abuse, with the best dapple of tanking Hyper Beams without chipping the paint! *Winces* Though if you go with more budget options that protection is more focused on the vehicle itself, if you catch my drift. Same applies to cycles, but they make up for it with speed and mobility - these are the ones to avoid about anything if you can afford to spare on protection. Lastly, our more advanced models of vehicles have Pocket Room Tech - more space on the inside than out! Better ones could fit a whole household, gym, and mini Center! SUPER expensive, but between all they offer and the immense amount of protection they have their is no safer option to travel Sutalor!”
Super Guns:
“*Sharply Raised Brows* Why in the world…? You don’t fight those sorts of critter unless you have a damn good team and/or Military Grade Hardware. You hide, you run, or you do every you can to get it to spare ya - or only take you, if all else fails. Avoidance is a stronger deterrent than any fire arm or Mon - the powerful monsters tend to make themselves KNOWN in an area. Diplomacy could work too, if you are someone like Queendim Killer or Shiva the Redoer, though I don’t recommend it unless you can afford to.
“*Sighs* …We do have some guns that could put up a decent fight against Pseudos, if you truly insist. Mostly Shotguns and Single Shot Rifles, but we do have an Beedrill Uzi and Broken Butterfree Magnum in stock we managed to snag from so professional mercenaries looking to trade up. None of them are cheap, and the kind of Ammo you need to do more than diddly is just as pricey or hard to make - or illegal outside of Military use, like Uranium Rounds or Dire Bio Buckshot. Don’t make those things, or at least don’t do it anywhere near a settlement. Or if it’s used to saving and defending lives - eyes go Flash blind if it’s for a good cause, having stuff you really shouldn’t.”
Bigger on the inside, huh? "I take it Dodger likely got his vehicle from here? Certainly big enough on the inside to make me wonder how he fits all that furniture in there."
As for the employee's comments on the guns and 'turning a blind eye'...
"So theoretically, if someone needed a weapon to, say, help save Bayahama, you could sell them something that would help do just that. Not that I need a weapon like that while I've got my friendo Goodra here! Could probably fight off all but the most powerful or mystical critters basically all on his own!"
Seddi might be talkin' a little big about Goodra there, but he's also trying to keep any commentary he has on the more serious topics less obvious to a casual listener.
As for getting a closer look, Seddi would be interested in looking at the vehicles a little more closely. He's probably going to need some reliable transport for when he really gets his research going.
The mention of the Dandy Man has the guide sigh dreamily again, though she does snap out of it soon to shake her head.
"Oh no, that's a custom model build in a collaboration between the Acceleration Workshop and Uxie Corp! Heard it cost a fortune for him to get 'The Star Dragster' made to his liking, and that it had a LOT of experimental tech put into it, but the results speak for themselves!"
Her eyebrows dart up at your somewhat subtle questioning, but a little playful twirl and jiggle of delight from your Gooey drake soon has her laughing.
"Hahaha! Goodra, stop, 'fore I get dizzy! *Looks at you with a smile* Oh, and maybe? Usually that sort of thing is more along the lines of 'better to ask forgiveness than permission' , were some bloke gets caught with conraband or stuff without the proper clearances, but they're helpful enough to put up with that if it doesn't become a BIG problem. Outright asking is Strange, since that can land someone in big trouble if they don't have a good reason to be making such lofty requests. Still, there is precedent for someone asking for a Soldier's Assault Rifle to clean out some dangerous feral sheep Mons and getting it without much fuss, so if the reason for what you asking for is like that then yeah, I can see the law being Lax."

Towards Saph:
How incredibly adorable young and healthy Saph is... So much energy!~ And what a staaark contrast to the image of her being comatose, at the verge of death and coughing up + crying blood, Bernhard needs a few moments to adapt to this drastic change of hers. The image of her whimpering and squirming as the Panacea made its way into her system, the vileness and curse fighting back with vengance... Yeah, all of that will be remembered with a grim face for quite a while.
...But so does the success over HAVING MADE IT, of having BROKEN the curse.
The precious and young gemstone that Saph is receives her bright blue hair ruffled affectionately, similar like a grandfather would do to their beloved granddaughter. "Do not overdo it, dear one. You have all the time and opportunity now to catch up on what you've been missing while the vileness and blackness has been within you... I do hope you - no, I am certain - that you will make good use of having received a second chance. Just a little bit later and there would have been little hope for you..." Thinking about it, this whole thing could have gone a whole lot worse... No, Bernhard does not want to ponder about what would have happened if just one single thing would go differently.
...In hindsight also, he'd rather go by 'Mr. Mage' then. Too late now however!!
Towards Zephy:
For her, Bernhard has some sort of...plea, a request or favour to ask for if you wish. He'll carefully wave her over with a...happy(?) smile, and quietly speak to her: "Say, are you able to...create sort of an artwork of this whole scene of having cured dear Saph? With a focus on her, her ethereal mother, me, and Nirix please... Two exemplars please, if you can and wish to live out your artistic freedom and creative eagerness. One as a reminder on our side, and one as a gift to the Gleams." Saph herself may help and chip in here, if she wishes to do so. Bonding over art sounds fun!
(Read: That's another artwork that gets framed and hung-up in Bern's private quarters, among various other selected drawings and sketches of Zephy. The other one... Is saved for now, and shall be given to Mr.Gleam later)
And now...towards Nirix at last:
He's still there fainted on the ground unfortunately, but Bernhard's certain that his message, feelings and thanks are reaching through to him anyway in some way.
Bernhard will kneel beside his trusted magical steed, once more giving him a highly-appraising and mightily proud look. For a bit, he'd just be there, letting the thought of how far Nirix went to see this young girl happy again sink in, process everything that occured since Mr. Gleam approached them and inquired about the healing powers of Galarian Rapidash's horn... Bernhard will, in comfortable silence where nothing and everything was said, simply pet Nirix's strong neck and forehead, stroke through his soft pastel mane, take a few strands of it into his Gauntlet-hand and kiss it: The latter being a MASSIVE act of awe and respect in his books! "...Little could I have known that you'd go ever FARTHER than just letting me process your horn. With no regards of yourself, you have put your everything into seeing Saph healthy again, for the blackness that is the curse to be banished once and for all... Be proud of yourself, truly and utterly. You have expressed more trust, love and devotion than words can describe... Enough to make me bow to you." And so Bernhard does, it doesn't matter whether this goes against his belonging of Fraction and view on how to treat Pokemon.
Saph too is eventually beckoned over to Nirix, to join Bernhard's side. "Please, do express your gratitude to my unicorn as well, dear one. He has put his everything into seeing you healthy again, enough for him to be drained of energy and strength now... Just be careful to not overwhelm him with your thankfulness, he's quite the proud companion of mine. But I'm certain he'll appreciate personal thanks from the one that he saved."
Towards Ezmeralda:
The feeling of being in front of a Holy Relict or angelic spectral being intensifies the more she speaks, it too fills Bernhard with awe... And timid meekness, yes even embarassment over receiving so much gratitude from her! He'll look away to the side, smiling, giving Ezmeralda a hand gesture of waving things off.™ "...My pleasure. Truly so."
...Hold on though, 'resurrection magics'? 'Her return'?... Is that what has happened and occured, and why she is present here as a ghost in the first place? Simply thinking about him having unknowingly dabbled into THIS part of magics here causes Bernhard's mind to be overwhelmed and confused to the max. His gaze searches for that Saphire pendant around Ezmeralda's neck, he locks eyes with that...well, eye within it with a frown. Then looks back to Ezmeralda, trying and somewhat failing to make sense of what has occured. "If you do wish to express your gratitude... Then please, do allow me a closer look at that precious gemstone that has been around dear Saph's neck the whole time and is now around yours. There is...something about it that I cannot quite fathom..."
If allowed, we'll take it into our Gauntlet once more, bracing ourselves for what may happen by doing so.
The precious lil' girl pouts at your light chiding, but an 'Ahem' from their mother gets them to reluctantly nod.
"Alright... I wanna play and run around so much, though. Feels good to move again, and don't want to rest too much now! But I'll wait if you say so, Magic Sammy.
Aside from her lacking stamina you could see she was doing excellently for being a Curse-riddled, borderline in a Coma girl; Medicine and the Healing Arts were not your Specialty, however, so you can't be sure if their are any lingering issues lying in hiding. The Panacea should've fixed them, but who knows if it could after dealing with the evil sickness?
Your Partner is panting lightly after...that, eyes wide open as she placed a paw to calm her own racing heart. Your request nearly causing her to bolt up headfirst into the ceiling, but you caught her in time to prevent giving her a literally headache.
"Oh! Geeze, give a lady a little warning first! Don't know how you can shake off that so quickly, but it's got my heart beating like a Primeape going RAGE on the drums! Seesh, it's been awhile since something got to me like that...."
Your request - once she calms down - is meet with an eager grin as she gives you the closest she can to a thumbs up!
"Already brainstorming how to capture that scene in fine eternity, 'Sammy' . Will need some alone time and the right material to do it any justice, but maybe the Gleams would be willing to pitch in to speed things up. Maybe even give me some good supplies or pointers to get it down fantastically !"
Though Nirix is well and truly in dreamland for pulling one heaven of a hail marry, you thought you could see him smile as you gave him so well earned praise. Saph gave the healing unicorn a hug around the side of his neck and whispered her thanks, petting his mane and looking worried yet happy.
"Thank you, Mr. Unicorn. You....helped save me. Me and Mama! Da da and her Wish came true! *Smiles* You a great horsey, the very best, yeah, yeah, so get better soon!!"
Ezmeralda look surprised at such a simple request being given to 'balane the books' , as well as the confusion about why, but she easily gave you a bow and a nod.
"Very well, though that is the least you deserve, Mark my words that you're be reward most richly for saving my Daughter - something my husband woud be much the same about. *Frowns* I feel.... apprehensive about you getting close to it, now that I think about it, but perhaps merely 'nerves' talking. Come right here, dear."
You draw close to Inspect the Alter Pendant...
*Rolls*
...And you notice it blink and pull away from you at gripping it lightly - coincidentally, you hard a gasp from the spectral wife soon after touching the Pendant
"Oh! That...tickled? *Frowns* Odd...."
It's also around this time Bern probably got the message from Oz about her close call; perhaps you should hurry over to the cafe to comfort her in the time most dire for her indeed, before it gets too late and you have to get ready with Seddi for this 'Test' going on Tonight...

While walking about you also stumble across a pair of books : One covering the Calamities, the Star Destroyers, and s worn copy of a book whose title seems to be missing.
3rd Floor: The Holding Facilities, the Guide takes you to the med bay and explains how general field medicine and treatment of injuries acquired out in the Wilds. It was quite informative : + 1 Medicine!
*Rolls* You also get to see s Ferrothron and BIG Dodrio inside separate reinforced rooms - both were grumpy, with the former trying to turn his room into rumble while the later stalked about with aMean Looks and snapping beaks. If asked, the guide says the were recent captures by some bounty hunters, as these two were causing major trouble in the area. She says they’ll be either released far way or sold, depending on if they could be made reasonably safe to interact with.
For now, that is most of the Tour Done - make your reactions , ask any questions, and then head in out for your next Encounters![spoiler]
Filing away that information on Dodger's ride and gun purchases for potential use later!
The cowboy would absolutely take a moment to skim through both of those books they find on the second floor. If there's any mention of Paradoxes in them, they're absolutely of interest to him.
Seddi wouldn't pay the Dodrio much mind. The Ferrothorn, though, gets a passing glance from Seddi...then he shrugs and refocuses his attention elsewhere. He just got Kusanagi. No matter how much his mentor would love to hear about a Ferrothorn, he's going to have his hands full with the mons he already has.
The field medicine rundown isn't exactly new info for Seddi, but a refresher never hurts either!
As for a location to get more info on...there's one location of particular interest to Seddi that we're lacking crucial info on. Somewhere that he's confident he's probably going to be visiting eventually for one reason or another...
"That big, open stretch of land on the eastern side of the region. The Wild Lands. Anything not commonly known about that area? Obviously very dangerous and strange, even for Sutalör."
Even more common knowledge would likely be helpful currently. The more info that Seddi can gather on that place though, the better.
As for a more general question: "So, how long is that discount on a purchase for the tour being delayed valid for? Probably not buying anythin' right now, but might be doin' some buyin' soon."

If he is indeed busy Akamu would use encounter 3 to check the surrounding district and maybe find a nice lost item or the like to take with him.
Seddi would nod in agreement. "It is indeed a good opportunity. Specifically took a little time out of my schedule to squeeze that training in before tonight. Need to properly introduce Kusanagi to the rest of my team too."
Before Seddi can continue that line of thinking though, the sounds of three phones receiving a notification simultaneously goes off!

Veluza has popped out of his pokeball once more, looking around for whatever it is that startled Seddi this time! Goodra gives Seddi a concerned look as well. He knows very well what that kind of reaction from Seddi means, given he's heard it a fair few times during their sparring sessions whenever that opponent got the drop on him in a new and unusual way. He peeks over Seddi's shoulder to take a look at the message on the Rotom Phone...
(This is before Oz met the cafe's owner iirc, so Seddi would still be talking with a worried Oz. If Oz says she won't need Seddi's help due to the police presence and Bernhard presumably being on the way though, then we can continue to sword practice with Akamu and Kusanagi!)

"Oz healed a fellow's Lilligant yesterday. Poor thing had been literally stuffed with Sludge, and her Trainer was extorted as payment for 'no further harm'. Trainer was happy his mon's life was saved for obvious reasons, but he must have talked a little too much about who healed her if this 'John' was able to find Oz so quickly. This varmint's a scumbag, and a clever one if I had to venture a guess. Likely knew he couldn't threaten ya directly, so he chose a less competent lookin', more vulnerable target."

Relax. I okay. I was able to escape them. Already told the authorities about what happened. A group of trainers and some cops accompany to the café and for now I safe. Just going to relax here for a bit to calm down, meet Mr Bernard there and meet you people at Ianai test. Meet you people there!
Alrighty. If ya need anythin', give me a holler. Otherwise, I'll see ya tonight when we meet up with Ianai.
Seddi will put his Rotom phone away again.
"Well, provided nothing else comes up, I think we're good to find a quiet, private place for a little practice now."
