Nice for me too, since I don't have to come up with more backstory about his family/upbrining too!
If Ran ever found out that Karen was friends/practically a apprentice with Jasmine, he'd become a lot more respectful and less dismissive/more willing to talk with her. For now, though....he's not interested in conversation, except with the professor about the job.

Thank you! I quite appreciate the design of Kogeki too, even though my character thinks of them as a freak/weirdo that has either a few screws loose or is totally taking the piss! Hopefully they'll become friends/at least decent partners after they spend some time getting to know one another!

Its a bit too late for that at this point, unless Dragonstrike allows a retcon of the current posts. I don't mind character conflict this early myself, but I also wouldn't be opposed to removing it entirely either. You do you, Spirit and Dragonstrike!
