I will soon return to Sylvia and Mr Samsara!” Oz stands up and goes to a place outside of Bernard's presence. She releases Fortuna and then tells her. “Fortuna, can you give me a few feathers? Just to give them to Bernard? I know you have your reservations with him, but so far, he proved to be a good person. But I will not force you if you don't want to.” At Fortuna's reveal, Murkrow perks up from Sylvia's table and hops out, approaching apprehensively. @PhantomUnderYourDesk >>Mr. Samsara, I'd like to ask permission to approach your Ninetails. RE: [Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 06-24-2024 Sylvia's apology is gladly accepted. Bernhard avoid's Oz's gaze aka refuses to directly look at her after...that, however. Upon the conversation switching topic, he perks up, musters Myra who is having her fun with the customers. "Approach my precious Myra? Well... Do tell me your reasons for wising to do so, and I shall decide on whether or not give permission, dear Sylvia." He looks at her expectantly, somewhat on edge. He looks at her expectantly, somewhat on edge. >>Oh - I didn't mean to pull her away from her admirers. Simply to say 'hi' - I worked with a Vulpix back in Jhoto, but she didn't evolve with me. I was curious. A pause. Then, looking over her shoulder at Myra: >>She really is quite magnificent. RE: [Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 06-24-2024 Bernhard gives Sylvia's answer quite thought, ponders over it as he rests his gaze on the extraordinaire Espeon. "...I see. Well, permission is given to you." How Sylvia called Myra 'magnificient' causes him to sport a mild smile on his otherwise stoic expression. RE: [Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 06-24-2024 (06-22-2024, 03:23 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: (Alright, time to get to the rest of your post!) Akamu might be forced to scramble back, as Kusanagi immediately gets in his space, stepping forward and towering over the young man in a smooth but rapid blur of motion. Her eyeless gaze bore holes into them, before they let out a scoff and turns away. "Tell that boy he's far from mastering a blade with his bearing and attitude. That if he's unprepared and unwilling to handle true danger, to truly fight and kill for his life and others, then he has no business wielding a sword. Weak hands begat a weak sword, and a weak sword only shall get you and your own killed. Hmpt....his lack of Guts handling his 'problem' Pokemon is woeful too. It does not bode well for his own journey if he can't come to grips with, perhaps, the first dangerous threat he can be responsible for." Harsh, but not entirely without merit. Veluza gives the old otter a battle hungry, menacing grin, completely undeterred by the vast disparity of Typing and Experience that lay between them. If anything that got him more put to meet with her - and the possibility of crossing his own Sharp blade-like fins with her own! This is meet with a savage, almost blood thirsty grin and a booming laugh as she shook her head in obvious mirth. "HA! Sharp in all the right ways, this one is! He may not be a Sword, but he most certainly is a Blade. A Cleaver, perhaps, hacking away at all that opposes him with gleeful exuberance and great relish. Ah yes....what a wonderful attitude and potential this one holds. He'd fit right in any proper Battle or Fight to the death, butchering his enemies like so much meat to be sliced ." The most daring Fishie didn't seem to know how to take Kusanagi's words, a thoughtful frown appearing as they pondered them. On one hand they were right - he did very much enjoy what he did, and that included Lethal Combat when the time came for it. He could easily see himself cutting down enemies permanently if need be or his blood boils too hot. On the other, he knows that his Master - you - is not nearly as much of a Battle junkie and fiend for the blade, let alone have any taste for murder and death of any kind. He doesn't want to disappoint you, not unless it was unavoidable. Hm...what to think, what to think... Your high praise for your elite swordsman only gets an interested tilt of the head from the scarred warrior, before she lets out dismissive huff, waving it off entirely. "Bold words and high praise, especially for a swordsman so young and still wet behind the ears. Forgive me if I withhold judgement until I can actually meet with him - only Pokemon I knew that could call upon the true Power of Sacred Sword are all long since dead and gone, and nobody since has approached their prowess." Iron Leaves.... The title of Verdant Sword causes the seasoned and sightless warrior to twitch, a slight frown on her muzzle. Iron Leaves, on the other hoof, was a tad apprehensive of revealing themselves to a Mon like Kusa that could shrug off their main capabilities, but in the end she complied with your Will. Through your Bond with the Future Paradox you could feel her leashing her power once more and marshaling their Will for this meeting , so you knew the moment she was 'ready' . With that all that done, you released Iron Leaves, who stood firm and tall right in front of you as she stoically stared down Kusanagi. Her Verdant Terrain, restrained as it was, only pooled around her feet, small patches of greenery and the occasional flower popping up as she strode towards the Blade of Glory. Upon reaching a few feet distance from them - and manipulating her Terrain to spread only the narrowest 'branch' onto their feet - she gave the a bow of their head. [GREETINGS: This Unit is Referred to as Iron Leaves. Let Us Cooperate and Progress Our Master's Goals, And Complete Your Own Desires As Well.] Kusanagi went still, their normally arrogant and slightly mocking, sly, or sneering expression stricken and dumbfounded for a brief moment. ...Then it was gone, and a grimly intrigued and...something else frown appeared as they 'looked' your hydraulic house over, slowly taking their time to circle around Her and occasionally prodding Her with a paw. Your Partner took this without compliant, though through your link she was most uncomfortable with this. At last the old warrior stopped her silent examinations, now in front of you and with Her behind as her frown turned solemn and....bittersweet amusement? "....I knew you were concealing something significant from me, but this One..... *Deep, sharp chuckling* Do you realize the full extent of the Blade you wield? The most core thing about her?" Behind them Leaves shuffles, a lightly curious look on Her face. Looks like she doesn't know what they building up too. "....Heh, I suppose it matters not. She is your Sword, a Pokemon almost without Peer in what she is capable of, and she shall serve you well and grow to her fullest in time. As too will you, if your commitment proves True, Ideal, and Pure. *Wane Smirk* Do take good care of her - it'd be a shame for the world to lose a Master of a Blade like them again." With a light chuckle Kusanagi goes silent, remaining motionless and ready between you and Iron Leaves. I could not help but to notice that you have, well, a range of Eeveelutions here. Quite the rare and elusive Pokemon these are... Where did you got the Eevee from? With the wilds of Sutalör being dangerous, I image a little creature like an Eevee does not...last long out there, unfortunately." You’re given an answer you suspected and disliked: via trade or deals with Breeders of all kinds. Expensive deals : the numbers they quote nearly make you go Faint with horror! Add onto their Rarity…well, getting one here without selling a body part or yourself was so remote of a possibility it practically was not one. Drat! You’re given a wierd and amazed look at the talk of bringing the Plushie to life , though, so that is something! Sylvia will approach Myra carefully, slowly "touching" her psychic-space, so as not to startle her. >>Good afternoon, Myra. I'm Sylvia. I just wanted to say hello - you're quite beautiful. If Myra is open to it, Sylvia will also offer a game she used to play with her partner Vulpix - each takes turns projecting a psychic image with a tidbit about themselves hidden in it, and the other must explore or inspect the projection and find it. But maybe the smol perfumer does appreciate a cuddle companion nevertheless while Bernhard does enjoy the overly-sweet drink and just watches? (Read: Leaving the plushie out on the table, while Spritzee is summoned to play and cuddle with it! He may not be 'freshly hatched', but would still count as 'young' perhaps?) `The Spritzee isn't actually a child, but they have such joyful exuberance that they easily take to the Plushie, dancing around and on its back with closed-eye content! You do have to keep a close eye on them to prevent the lil' perfumer from escaping your table and curiously explore that place and all those FASCINATING smells, but seeing their pure joy is well worth it. Other than that, he's not interested in availing himself of their other services. Very well! One of the staff says it might be awhile before any new elephants join their family for adoption, but if Vern expresses interest in BIG Pokemon they do say they have Swinub with Ancient Power that is due to be arriving within the 1-2 Days. 'Mamoswine is one of the chonkiest, most huggable Mons around!' , so says one particularly enamored gentleman. Price pending, but they say it shouldn't be TOO expensive... Aside from that, anything else you'd like to do around the City for your 3rd Encounter, such as Exploration, Item/Mon Hunts, searching for a Trainer to Battle, or spending time with your Mons? Fortuna eyes your raven with a calm, non-domineering composure, rubbing a wing under their chin for a moment before waving your newest friend over. Somewhat excited yet nervous, Murkrow approaches, and soon the two are engaged in a conversation that flies completely over your head - something about the Arcane, manipulating Destiny to your desires, and finding ways to 'Beat the Odds to Rise on Top' ? Well, they seem to be getting along well, at least! (06-24-2024, 05:33 PM)Pokekitty2 Wrote: Sylvia will approach Myra carefully, slowly "touching" her psychic-space, so as not to startle her. Despite your best efforts Myra indeed does startle, jumping up and whirling around with a snarl. Intruder, intruder! Then, what you said processes and they settle down slightly, their fur raised and 'favoring' you with a dour look. '"....Thank you. But do not use Telepathy on me again. Only my Master and Teammates have permission to touch upon my Mind and Bond." Her tone is formal, somewhat imperialistic, and none too slightly irritated and defensive. They were still being polite, but it was clear they viewed your introduction rather poorly. Your offer of a game is rejected flatly - Myra refuses to allow anyone to see anything about themselves without careful screening on her part and with permission from her Master, and she greatly disapproves of the use of 'mental magics and means' in pretty much EVERYTHING aside from combat (and only to deal Damage). Yeouch. (06-24-2024, 06:55 AM)Pokekitty2 Wrote: Cool! We'll take the book with us for Foxy Delights! You're lead to a room that is painted warm autumn colors, plush brown carpeting, and chic furniture arranged tastefully around a tea table, complete with a fresh brew pot of jasmine. Setting on a red-cushioned pedestal was a luxurious looking Flareon, their coat utterly immaculate (and making your inner Sylveon/Flareon jealous!) and their form the very peek of fitness. Together with their soft eyes and the Gentle aura the suffused them it made this fiery snuggle buddy one inviting presense! ....Where it not for the fretful look about them, starting down their paws and muttering something utter their breath, a distinct lack of confidence and an overabundance of anxiety plain to see AND feel. "*Mutter* Got to do right, got to do this right....! Just need to greet the customer, invite the to pet me, and everything should flow smoothly...! *Frowns* Unless they're too nervous to open up first? Then what do I do? Beg for pets, trill for attention, lead the to a right conclusion? What to do, what to do....oh I'm SO going to mess this up....!" Tiffany was not kidding about this guy's worrywort nature.
