Disaster avoided I guess? Not the best start I suppose...

Indeed! Not the finest start, but its hard for him to forgive you for calling him a dwarf, which is pretty much considered a slur against him (since he so heavily resembles an actual dwarf in many ways, and he doesn't like his height being brought up in such a way). If you want to do a proper/more friendly introduction, you'd have to retcon the post that has them calling him that name. Otherwise....that is the best I can do.

Let's just hope future interactions don't become a snow ball of problems and these two ended up at least in positive terms.

Here's hoping for that indeed! I WANT our characters to get along, but if they don't....well, he'll at least work with them and begrudgingly tolerate their presence!

Snowpoint is a cold place by the way, in more ways than one.

Some of the inhabitants and locales are still quite warm, though!

Heh heh, I knew that the local Nurse would be at least a little frosty, if only because Randolph just has the uncanniest ability to bring out such august qualities in others! Nice touch, mate!

Welp, now Randolph has to get the explanation from someone he dislikes, and then find some way to kill time until the Professor arrives. Oh what fun will that be for him. With that in mind, though.....what is there for our charas to do in Snowpoint, before we inevitably head out on the quest? The city seems to be quite the bit bigger from what you've shown thus far, so it could have some activities in it available to use (beyond the obvious ones, of course).

You wouldn't believe how many frostbitten pokemon and trainers Snowpoint's Nurse Joy has had to treat over the years.  Being a Pokemon Center Nurse is hard, yo.  Not all of them can manage to keep a smile on their faces while on the job.  As illustrated by a small optional cutscene in the Gen 7 games, some Nurse Joys are incredibly stressed the @#$% out by their jobs, too.  Snowpoint's just happens to be rather...hardened instead.

That roll I did at the start?  Fun fact: That was to see who the trainers were more scared of provoking Tongue  They were still Intimidated by Randolph a bit, but Nurse Joy is a LOT scarier than Randolph currently is.

I'll bring up a list of some locales and things to do after Kogeki does a little talking about the Mt. Coronet thing.  The picture I showed ya guys is the Snowpoint City from the anime.  I always did feel like the anime did the sizes of a lot of the cities more justice than the games' depictions (though the games make exploring them FAR more convenient, admittedly).

Haha, Spirit, I like how Kogeki enjoys to give others nicknames for. Curious how he'll adress my chara, even if there's a high chance that whatever it'll be, he won't like it. ^_^;

Dragonstrike, if anything occurs that involves him or I need to chip in, please @ me, okay? Prevents me from accidently missing things despite I read along. Until then, I'll patiently wait~

That's the plan!  Thanks for being patient.

TL Note: Gomen/Gomen'nasai (The latter being more formal/polite) is Japanese for sorry, Karen knows a little bit of the Pokemon world version of this language, which considering that the Tohjo area is based on parts of Japan makes since.
