Yes, it is. Go to the Bug thread and post that there, so that Andro and his friend can get on it as soon as possible.

Is it? Back in the wondertrade event, I got plenty of eggs, and I was able to deposit them on a box for later hatching without problems.

In the beta, there was an issue where sometimes the game decided that your egg was your last Pokemon. Could it be related to that?

Make sure you describe what happens when you try to deposit it.

how many Pokemon were in your party? If it's less than 2, then game won't allow you to deposit egg. Why? What if you deposit your last Pokemon and go into a bush with 6 eggs? It's a fail safe mechanics that can be annoying sometimes... XD

The same mechanics were in the official games as well, and they still are. I mean, what do you want to do if said case occurs? Throw your carefully breeded egg on the attacker and run like hell?

Actually, you seem to throw mud at the encountered Pokemon. There you go, bulbapedia:

There are four options shown in the battle screen:
Throw a Safari Ball - Throws a Safari Ball in possibility of capture. It is much the same as throwing a Poké Ball in an average Pokémon battle.
Throw mud - Throwing Mud makes a Pokémon angry and easier to catch, but makes it more likely to flee from battle.
Throw bait - Throwing Bait does the reverse of throwing Mud, making a Pokémon less likely to run but harder to catch.
Run from battle - Like in an average Pokémon battle, running away from a Pokémon will cause the battle to end.

Literally, it's the same.
