That's Optimized English which was once implended as a joke, you can set the language back to English or any other in-game by selecting 'Options' and then 'Language'.

Or you can change it to a foriegn language, if you don't care about the plot of the game entirely and just want to raise, train, and fight with your Pokemon. Nothing enhances deliberate ignorance than literally not understanding what you're reading, after all!

It's in the same row from where you can access your Bag, Pokedex etc.
