A Blue Screen Reverted My Trade - Halfwolf102 - 09-24-2020
I just traded someone an Oblivicorn for a Kiricorn to get the Pokedex entires, but when I opened the trade in GTS to retrieve it I got a blue screen. The trade just finished as it happened and the stop code is KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. When I reloaded my save, I no longer had either Pokemon. Is there any way I can get either back?

No, the GTS doesn't store a copy of traded mons, so those mons are probably lost forever. Although you can try loading a backup.

Usually, the GTS saves over your backup though.
I'd be happy to trade you a Minicorn or two though, if those were your only ones.

I would be very grateful for the Minicorn though, as I didn't realize there is only one in the game before I evolved it (preventing me from getting the Kiricorn pokedex entry without trading). My ID is 156518.

Also, I noticed that in the link you sent that the screenshot shows the backups folder having multiple backups. I only have one in mine, is there an option for this in the game or was this done manually?

Those are manual backups, which are a good idea too.

I'll definitely make a backup archive for my saves after this, maybe even make a script for it too. Thank you!

It says "no pokemon found" when I search that ID. Either someone already got to it or you haven't put something up yet. (Anything is fine).
