Hello Uranium fans!
My name is Cody and I'm the Administrator here on the new Uranium Forum, but you already knew that!
On the other end of the computer rests a massive geek, sheltering himself from the hostile climate of Southern Canada. I spend a lot of my free time in front of a screen, may it be a TV or monitor, I love to write and in a desperate attempt to justify my lifestyle, I started up an independent journalism website dedicated to reporting on and reviewing games, rigs, consoles and other such gizmos. I've also been managing and moderating other Forums and communities for nearly a decade and have worked closely with other industry professionals, including EPIC Games, setting up events and ticker reels
I signed up on the old Forum in late July right as the hype for Pokemon Uranium was at it's highest, I submitted an application and became a Moderator a month afterward when Twitch made an announcement that additional hands were needed to keep up with the rapid increase in forum traffic. 12 days after I became a Moderator the official services were taken down. Shortly afterward I got to work on the forums you see before you today, it's been up and running for a little under a month and is still going strong!

Wait a moment, are you actually saying that you wrote/programmed that website (gamegrit.com) on your own? If so, may I ask in what language? It looks a bit too fancy for simple html...

With Halloween being over I changed my icon back to normal, I also changed my name back so it's not on fire anymore
You are under no obligation to make an intro thread, I won't pressure you!
Good eye! It's more than just HTML. Game Grit runs on the Wordpress CMS and came loaded with a custom designed theme. Over the few years that I've run the site I've done the graphic work and added several PHP, CSS, HTML and Javascript additions, there's even a little bit of AJAX in there plus it's Mobile friendly!

Thank you for the answer! Hmm... I didn't even know that it was possible to combine so many languages on one website... but since you stated it's a work of years meanwhile... quite awesome.
