Themed Teams - Blue - 11-02-2016

So on my second playthrough I learnt about specific team build playthroughs and how some people had made strict "themed teams/party's" for example a friend of mine on Reddit has an 'Evil' theme which includes Beliaddon, Vilucard, Riffiti ect. I'd always seen the more usual type based teams (water, fire, grass ect.) but this seemed more specific and was awesome to find out about because, like in most Pokemon games, my end team is usually just a mix n' mash of different Pokemon I thought looked cool at the time.

So I built mine as a Quadruped-only Team - Only Pokemon with 4 or more legs (weird, I know, but I've always preferred using Pokemon that look more like animals) So no arms, fins, standing on 2 legs, or floating ect. My team currently is Inflagetah, Glaceon, Gargryph, Luxelong, Gellin and Laissure.

I'd love to know if anyone else is currently playing this way? Any cool story's to tell or even have any ideas on themes? I know there's some planning involved when you're deciding your team so I'd love to hear about any others!

Aside from my Majungold, who does all the actual combat, I use only Dragon Pokemon, to hoard all my gold. Look for them in Wonder Trade!

Nice! So your team tells a story in of itself, that's clever!

Also, side-note, Majungold is totally one of the coolest Pokemon in the Tandor dex, giant gold ingots for arms? So bad*ss Tongue

I may start a new save and do a Water-and-horse themed team with the character name Percy J(ackson)... Cool I mean, that's the dream, but I'm occupied with other stuff atm...

Lol so something like 5 Oblivicorns and a Syrentide, like Poseidons chariot? You're onto something there...

I myself thought about a "real Pokemon" theme.

Meaning that you can only use already-existing pokèmon.
As if you're trying to get through Tandor without  using its pokemon...

I dunno... I just thought the idea seemed good... Shy

I was thinking about to use in my second playthough to use full bug team. Its dificult but i want to test the power of the insects. And normally i dont like some bug type desigh (except certain pokemons) but the bug pokemons in Uranium is really cool. Seikamater its one of my favourite bug types

This is interesting! Plus  you'd have the cool perk of all your pokemon having animated sprites Tongue do you know what the earliest encounter of an already existing pokemon is? I have no idea o_O

That sounds like a tough playthrough at first, but totally do-able and I bet you could have a lot of fun with the Tandor dex, there's some really powerful bug pokemon now! - Harptera, Frosthra, Seikamater ect.

The first encounter of an official pokémon is Mankey on route 1, although you wouldn't be allowed to evolve it beyond Primape.
