Hi there - devon - 11-14-2016
I registered a little while ago but this is my first post.
Long time Pokemon player here but haven't really played since the heydays of Black/White. Got into the series in the late 90s after taxing a dudes Game Boy for late payments. Played through Gens 2 and 3 then took a break until Gen 5 which is probably my favorite Gen.
I got into Uranium when 1.0.0 dropped, cause I figured since I'm not gonna get a 3DS this would probably be my only taste of Gen 6. The story is okay I guess, but what got me hooked was the ease of getting into breeding. I've bred around a dozen Lv. 100 pokemon so far and have made a semi-decent Trick Room team. I'm currently breeding a complete Tank/Defensive Team and I'm hoping to have that fully levelled in a few weeks once I sort out a few... personnel issues.
My favorite Pokemon in the game is Fafninter, but my fave overall is Slaking. Felinger doesn't even come close.

I'm right there with you on the 3DS, though honestly I don't think Uranium is best suited to "see what Gen 6 dynamics are about". It has enough "newness" of its own (especially the Nuclear typing), and the only thing that really says "GEN 6" is Mega Evolutions (of which there aren't many canon Pokemon here that Mega Evolve, mostly just fakemon). My draw is the story and the fakemon; there are other fangames out there better suited to getting a taste of Gen 6 (and probably Gen 7 before too much longer). But those others don't matter so much to me at the moment because Uranium is just SO GOOD!
