Is Official: The Pokemon Uranium Forums has Reached 1000 Members! - Lord Windos - 12-17-2016
You know, I remember when I was among the first people to join up in these forums. I was just going to lurk around originally, and try to make some friends, but then I noticed a vacancy it the Competitive section, and decided to be more. Look how far we have come since then, guys! This place is teaming with life and creativity, with people from all over the world coming together to celebrate their love for Uranium!
We have artists of all kinds, from @Keileon's beautiful dragon pictures, to @EeveeBailey's nice and descriptive spritework, spicing up this wonderful place. If a humble fangame can inspire this much creativity, then it is truly a great work of art!
We have people like @Xarxaal, who, inspired by the success of Uranium, have begun their own ambitious Pokémon fangame projects, seeking to make their own mark on the world. May the best of luck be with their efforts!
We have the many, many breeders, from the Discord chatroom, to the forums, or both. If it was not for the efforts of @MonkeyLord83, @Selene, @Reeveelution, and many, many more, a whole lot of people would be without their favorite Pokémon in top form. Many small breeder too, with me among their number, would not have gotten the start they need to really get into the thick of things without their kind assistance!
Then we have all the aforementioned competitive sector, with @powerofthebarn, @Dragonstrike, @Cataclyptic, myself, and Reevee's (over achiever right here, am I right?) providing helpful guide to optimizing certain Pokémon. There is also @keybrdkid09 and co, for organizing the Tandor Casual League, setting up the groundwork for an organized competitive scene. While dormant for now, come time, this big group of people will truly shake things up.
The Devs of the game, L and Andro, deserve all the praise they get and more, for the often thankless job of updating and polishing this game to complete optimization. My deepest condolences to you guys; you are the best~! @Samrux and @Akexus derserve a lot of praise as well, for both contributing and running the translation of the game into Spanish and French, respectively. I can hardly understand a lick of both, but I am glad many people can enjoy this game fully, with your ongoing efforts!
@CodySP, @Iron, and @Polaris: If it wasn't for you guys, we would even have the forums in the first place! So on behalf of all the member of the forum: Thank you. Thank you for your tireless and often tedious work, and I do hope you continue doing a fine job~! Oh, and thank you @Tricwe, even though I have absolutely no idea what you have done for the forums. Must be important, though!
Last of not least, thank you everyone here. From blabber mouth like me and @PhantomUnderYourDesk, to the great personalities of @Spiritmon and @SmokedMemes, we populate this here forum, and make it the place it truly is: A welcome, fun experience for all!
So, with all that said, let us celebrate together for this great milestone reached by the Pokémon Uranium Forums, and may we reach further heights yet!!!

We've hit a big milestone today and I'm hoping to do something to commemorate this moment in the near future but with the Holiday season fast approaching, free time is in precious limited supply. We may have to wait until the new year.
Running the forum has been a dream, I've received over 300 private messages, spent over 19 hours in the AdminCP and 3 days in login time. It has been beyond wonderful to meet so many of Uraniums passionate and dedicated fans, thy stories they've told, the art they've created, the RP's that have taken place and the challenges that people have waged to set the bar that much higher. A massive thank you to every single person who registered to Uranium's official Forum and shared a little piece of your love for this project. None of this would have been possible without you.
Also, I'd like to thank @Iron and @Polaris from the bottom of my heart for all of their time in managing the Forum as our incredibly professional and capable Moderators. The work they put in often falls on deaf ears and it's important that they be recognized for their efforts.
I'm very excited to see what Uranium has in store for us walking into the New Year @ReeNormies has recently taken over the Wikia as it's official Admin and has updated all of the links so they now redirect to the right spot. That means it's going to be much easier for people to get in touch with Uranium's team across all social platforms.

Couldn't be better put! Thank you for that post @LordWindos simply put this has been an amazing forum that I couldn't have been happier to find. As a big fan of Pokémon Uranium the community here has been just wonderful. No matter where in the forums you search it's just full of creativity and of course those who love Pokémon in general!

It's been great being part of a community for such an amazing fan game. It's a shame the competitive aspect of it has slowed down as of late, but hopefully that will change soon! I've still got plenty of ideas for some competitive sets for those mons I still technically have reserved for guides!
And it's been an absolute blast seeing everything that's been going on here, from the role plays to ideas for fan games to events for the game itself. I've never felt so invested in a fan game before, and I'll be invested in this game for a long time to come. The community is what has made this game so special, and I hope that never changes for anyone involved in it now and in the future.

Very well put, @Lord Windos. When I first sought out this incredible game (because naturally I didn't know it had been released until after the original official links were taken down), I had no idea that I would become part of such a vibrant and active fan community, or that this game's imaginative story and nuanced characters would inspire my muse enough to make both sprite art and fanfic based on it.
JV and Twitch brought us an incredible game with an incredible story; @ReeNormies and @Androziel and the rest of the new dev team have worked so hard to keep their dream alive and make a great game even better with the new server, bug-fixes, new features, and their continued work to finish the post-game content; and @CodySP, @Iron, and @Polaris brought this new forum up from the ashes so that our fandom could continue.
Because of all of this, I have been truly blessed to make so many wonderful friends from all around the world. I am proud to be part of this community, and I am thrilled to be able to contribute to it in what ways I can. And I look forward to seeing what the future hold for both this game and this community.
Here's to the next milestone... may we make it to 2,000 and even higher still!

Wait... I WAS ACTUALLY MENTIONED? But i didn't do THAT much of a difference! Still, it feels nice, and on the note of great personalities, don't count yourself out Windos! Your creativity is off the CHARTS!

I just have to say, these forums are great. I've had good and bad experiences here, but overwhelmingly good. There are so many great people here, and so much good stuff. I'm involved in a roleplay, which I had not tried before coming here. I'm a gym leader in the casual league, which is also very fun. Overall, the community here is wonderful, better than most others I've frequented. Not that I have much experience, heh.
