a bit of help if you please - keybrdkid09 - 01-06-2017

Greetings to Help Desk,

I am having an issue when I tried to run the patcher and/or start the game. It may be that I didn't finish patching before shutting down my computer. Or perhaps some other issue.

Here is what is happening:

When I try to run the patcher, my Norton Antivirus automatically removes certain files, claiming they are unsafe. One such file is minimize.bmp. When I try to run patcher after Norton activates, it says 'failed to load minimize.bmp. This happened with at least one other bmp file but I didn't get the name.

When I try to lauch Pokemon Uranium, a bunch of error screens eventually appear. Then the game says 'the save file is corrupt, or incompatible with this game.'

Any ideas what is going on here? Would like to be able to keep my older save, since it contains my Tandor Gym Pokemon.

Thanks.

I definitely wouldn't delete the save at least until you confirm if it works on a different computer.

There's also a backup feature now - so once you get your installation fixed, you can go grab the backup save if necessary!
