still cant patch. help please. - keybrdkid09 - 02-26-2017
So I have been trying unsuccessfully to patch my game for some time and am still unable to do so.
I have been getting error messages as soon as the game starts which concern me. Since I have all the badges and do not want to lose my save file with all my gym pokemon and badges ect., I was wondering if someone with know how could give me a bit of advice on where to proceed to fix my old save file.

Upon starting game, this happens:

Your best bet would be to uninstall, download the newest version of the game, and reinstall using the most recent available version. Your save file is stored in a totally separate place from the game installation, and will not be effected. Regardless, I would suggest backing up your saved file regardless of the reason. I personally put mine on Google Drive.

Would you possibly be able to provide me with a link to the most recent version of the game? I thought I had downloaded the most recent version (1.1.0). At least my patcher says 4th January 2017.
I also have uninstalled my previous Pokemon Uranium and installed the version I thought was the most recent. I can't remember where I got the actual link though.
Also, can you possibly provide instructions on how to backup your save file correctly? I heard briefly that there was a new way to backup your save file so that you don't ever have to lose it. But I'm not sure if I ever understood how to correctly do this.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

As for your save file, open File Explorer and type C:\Users\Insert Your Computer Account's Name\Saved Games . Their should be a folder that has all your saves, including back ups for said save. Just copy and paste it somewhere else you won't forget, and you should be good. Can never hurt to be too careful!
