Game runs slow as Christmas - DT_Gray - 05-06-2017
Hey guys,
I recently downloaded the 1.1 installer and the game loads and runs successfully. The only problem is that it runs horribly slow, and makes it essentially unplayable. I am running it on windows, so the MAC issues don't apply here. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the issue or what I can do to fix it? The game looks amazing and I would really love to play!!

@CodySP, your help might be needed here!
Untill then, try closing all programms/open windows while playing, put the hardware on Maximum Power instead of Energy Saving Mode and lower the FPS in in-game settings.

If all else fails, however, find another computer to play the game on. Its not much of a solution, but its better than playing with the framerate tanking through the mantle....

Thank you both for the suggestions. I was able to slightly improve performance with some adjustments to my laptop's settings and taking fps down to 40, but battles still feel laborious and running in bigger cities is almost futile. Again, any further tricks or tips would be very much appreciated, and I am grateful for the ones already provided.

Uranium has it's fair share of FPS drops, but this sounds like a memory problem.
There's a number of things you can try, but I would start with closing any background processes or programs. Anything that's not needed by your computer to run. I see that you've played around with it a little bit, but try increasing your Max FPS. If it is indeed the game causing issues. The only known culprits right now are Bealbeach and Venesi City. After progressing through these areas, your performance should improve.
