In the right when the Pokeball breaks Heart return Koa and decides a different estrategy. He brings Vitkor and give a quick order: "Use Confuse Ray in Scyther Viktor. Perhaps this might help!"

(Want try 3 Pokeballs now. Lets see if fainting and with a Confuse Ray may help. Now I really want that Scyther. Such strengh, and fierce spirit...I really want that Pokemon.)

Unfezant cocks its head, the first movement in some time. It hears no buzzing bees, and especially no gigantic warm horse. It wobbles quickly up to the berries and eats both of them. Then it looks right at Nathan and treats him to a chuckling, two beat fezantsong.

"Tasty, right?  Here, have a little something to wash it down.  And there'll definitely be more tasty food to follow if you decide to come with me.  You look like a strong, reliable companion, and I'd be more than happy to have you along."

Nathan then sets his Pecha Juice down in front of him.  He backs off again, but he's a little closer this time, a Flash Ball in his hand if Unfezant agrees.

It seems to be a done deal! Unfezant has one last thought. He plucks one of the magenta flowers he loves to mimic and holds it in his beak to bring along. This provides a perfect opportunity for the Flash Ball! Shiny magenta Unfezant standing amid a field of magenta flowers and holding one in his beak!

Unfezant was caught!

Unfezant has his hidden ability Rivalry. He also has a rare move: Mimic! He knows all his moves that cost 18 XP or less.

*Jingle, Jangle, Bing Brack Bop!* goes the Rustle rattle, as his devil bat enthusiastically shakes and let's out several excited screeches at all the wonderful noise it produced, which eventually caused him to began to bob his head to the beat along with it! It may not be gold or some shiny treasure from the ancient past, but the Rattle is certainly qualifies as a prized Item in his wings! The devil bat's antics brought about a cheerful grin on Ventus face, the simple plain joy they found in the object erasing some of his distemper he's been harboring inside his heart as of late, and reminded him once more how much he cherishes these little interactions with his family members. "Yes, this little Rattle is a delight on the ears and a blam on the soul, isn't it Lucifer? Hmm.....well, since you find so much joy the music it makes , how would you like to add it to your own personal hoarde, brother? Consider it a gift, for all the assistance you have provided for everyone on this journey through Cheshire up to this point, and for all the contentment, amusement, and simple happiness you have brought into my life just by being a part of it. Thank you, my little devil...."

Order: Give over the Rustle Rattle for Lucifer to hold onto indefinitely, and have a small little moment/confession with the devil himself to ease some of the negativity that has been clinging to him for awhile. Ven's not a sourpuss by design or nature, so whenever the opportunity comes for him to simply be at peace and enjoy good company, he's right back to his old kind, caring, generous, and loving self. Unfortunately Nathan has the dubious honor of now bringing out the very WORST emotions in him, so for now he's always going to be somewhat grouchy until the air is somehow cleared between them! Where was I going with this again? Oh yeah, happy time with bat!

Something this special...he can't just call him Unfezant.  Nope.

Masq.  That oughta be a fitting nickname.  His head plumage certainly stands out enough to warrant the nickname.

Except now Nathan has a problem...he's got 7 pokemon on his person...hmmm...

Well, he could worry about that in a moment.

For now, he'd have to get everyone introduced to the new team member.

Swiftfire and the bees come back out again, along with Masq.

"Well, that seems to have gone well.  Princess, Zippy, Swiftfire, looks like Masq the Unfezant here is coming with us.  I've got some other pokemon and traveling companions you'll get to meet soon enough, Masq.  For now, though, how about we spend a little time gathering some of these flowers?  I've got a basket we can keep them in.  Princess, Zippy, you can gather some honey in the meantime as well."

Swiftfire impatiently paws at the ground.  Weren't they supposed to stay on the move right now?

"Yes, I know we're technically in a hurry, Swiftfire.  We're rather far ahead of everyone else, though.  Let's take a little time to relax and wait for them to catch up.  Plenty of space for you to run around if you want."

Relaxation time for Nathan and company in this flower field (with a little bit of Honey Gathering as well)!  He can worry about choosing a pokemon to send to the PC later.  No League officials out here to tell him off for having 7 pokemon on his person, after all! Everyone can come catch up to him when they're ready.

After breath a lot to recover the air, Heart decides to stop in some tree to relax a bit after the battle. "Man, that was tough!" Then Heart bring out Rose and Koa. "You two did a great job! That was indeed one of our mostly tough enconters. Even with the typing advantage, that Scyther is strong." Heart then nod his head in the direction of Scyther Pokeball. "It will be dificultt to raise. Since I already two pokemon to handle like Aron and Caesar. I proud of you two." Heart smiled then pat the head of the two Pokemon. Before anything he talk to Viktor too. "Viktor, I have one request to you. Kirlia seems a little grump after the last battle and he might need some recover." Then Heart put in Viktor tiny hands one Potion. "Please give this to Nathan and Kirlia. Even if Pokemon cant use Potion for themselves, Nathan might be able to recover. This might help Kirlia be a little more confortable with your presence." Then Viktor a little more cheer up go in the direction of Nathan and Kirlia, with the potion in his hands and apeararing in their presence and giving Kirlia the potion, with a shy smile in his face. "Now, I need to heal both of you." Then Heart decides to take care of Rose and Koa injuries with one potion each one of them.

Before anything he talk to Viktor too. "Viktor, I have one request to you. Kirlia seems a little grump after the last battle and he might need some recover." Then Heart put in Viktor tiny hands one Potion. "Please give this to Nathan and Kirlia. Even if Pokemon cant use Potion for themselves, Nathan might be able to recover. This might help Kirlia be a little more confortable with your presence." Then Viktor a little more cheer up go in the direction of Nathan and Kirlia, with the potion in his hands and apeararing in their presence and giving Kirlia the potion, with a shy smile in his face.

Kirlia's still on Yule, near the bulk of the main group where the metagross are still.  He's rather bored and...nervous.  He knows why Nathan left him back here...but everyone besides Ventus left the area...leaving him with the researcher in question...

...he's been inching Yule further away from the metagross and Ventus as a result.

...and not really been paying attention to much besides that, so when Viktor appears again...well, he's startled enough that he falls off of Yule.

A moment later, he sees the offered potion.  The intent is fairly obvious, so Kirlia slowly takes it and gets back on Yule.

Slightly more comfortable with Viktor and Heart?  Maybe.

Kirlia's still keeping his distance from Ventus and the metagross for now, though. Nathan's still somewhere up ahead, as well...Kirlia can't help but wonder when he's going to come back...

Shiva is wandering in the flowers, looking for special ones, when she trips over something that turns out to be a molehill! The furrow in the earth shakes, and out pops a Drilbur. The ground near her head shakes too, and out pops ANOTHER Drilbur! They seem very curious, but one of them is sharpening its claws menacingly, like a chef sharpening a long knife on a metal rod.

Such a peaceful moment in nature was energizing for Shiva and came as a great diversion from all the seriousness of the mission they where on and the traveling on a lively Super-Computer calling itself a Metagross. She didn't spoke a word aside from asking the Metagross to stay nearby and keep track of the others and possible threats nearby, but Cottonee (who was still outside) understood  on her own and joyfully joined her Master on a search for particularly special wildflowers/ones Master doesn't know yet. Part of Shiva felt innocent and calm by enjoying the intact nature residing here alongside her familiar wad of cotton *lovingly putting a magenta wild flower into her fluff*, part of her was sliding down into melancholy... The wildflowers here reminded her what Ven has told her about his mother way earlier. It has been surrounded by nature as well, just them, just like now it felt like only her and her Starter for a moment... But despite all that happened, Ven never lost his smile. He kept going. Was it something like this what she called 'strong'? In fact, she grew unsure. All she was facing was trial after trial, but was this really the right path?

There was another subliminal side effect she grew aware of: From hearing about her travel companion's past, she learned to value the comfort of a safe and loving home. No tragedy related to her origin followed her like an ever-present shadow, Nidoking was more like an accident way back...

With her mind wandering off, Shiva paid less attention to any obstacles in her way, and only Cottonee serving as a fluffy airbag prevented any injuries as she tripped head-first over something she recognized as a molehill on a second glance! Her arms where still holding bouquet of wildflowers, and she was on eyelevel with the Unovian mole that showed itself. Oh wait, there where two of them... One carefully tilting its head to see who they have encountered here, while the other one was giving Shiva a chill (not hard to guess which one)... Before she could do a thing or even get a hold of a Pokeball, Kyuu somewhat left himself out of his Pokeball, giving a cheerful determined 'meow!' as he apperared on the scene. A moment later, he rushed forward to give the meaner Drillbur a blow with the paw diagonally over the snout in a suprising speed. His own tempo must have gotten the better of him - anyway, this will hopefully TEACH those moles that Master, the one who not only saved him from malicious Deltadogs but now even let him get to know a not-so-malicious exemplar, is none to mess with!

Cottonee took the place of a backup-support, and got ready to megadrain the life out of the second Drillbur should it decide to make a move.

Damage Roll: 2 Strength + 2 Power of the move, no STAB = 4 d6
Additional notes: +1 Priority, and flinches the mole! Seems like the Espurr has managed to learn this move without help from Shiva.
