Both her Pokemon earned a very appreciating look from their Master. "Wonderful work. Lilith - please keep that Telekinesis up, try to  lift up more rubble to mend the breach as best as possible. You, Yena - a great help you are indeed, but please return now into you Ball." Mightyena is withdrawn after he earns a thankfull stroke over his big forehead. In return, Cottonee is summoned - immediately, she picks up that poisonous gas lurking and stired up some Fairy Winds without awaiting her beloved Master's orders. She only has one goal - GETTING RID OF THAT TOXIC FUMES.

Accuracy Roll Fairy Wind 1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 4 Channel - 1 Pain from the previous battles - 2 Actions = 6d6
Accuracy Roll Fairy Wind 2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 4 Channel - 1 Pain from the previous battles - 3 Actions = 5d6
Effect: No damage, but the breeze containing some fairy dust that should both blow the gas away and refresh the air afterwards.
Secondary Effect: Sparkles may stick to the icy walls, whch will simply look nice.

And as soon as they are, Ralts heads right on over to Ventus and gives him a hug. Regardless of the giant, scary, Steel ant that's still partially on fire.

The sight that control over things have been regained was quite a relief for Shiva - watching up where the bluish flames were dancing only moments ago, she impercible took a deep breath, gratefully and with her arms crossed in an appreciating posture noticing how the gas has vanished and the air was fresh again.

"Good work, Lilith. Once more you've shown me that I'd be lost without a Pokemon having strong psychic powers - you deserved your rest very well, please return for now." Gothitelle is recalled. In return for her, Yena come back out again, barking a 'hello' to Shiva as soon as the white light of summoning faded. Cottonee, making a ^_^ -face as she too sucked in the fresh air again, floated over to place herself on her Master's head again.

Shiva herself... now that the situation has been cleared, barely anything could halt her anymore. Actually, nothing could, she'd find her way towards Ventus somehow and sometime, regardless which obstacles the path would behold, if needed she'd stain the road with blood to reach him. (Not literally) Thankfully however, not more than a few steps seperated the oddball from Sociologist from her, and from the look he seemed healthy and fine! Praise Reshiram for their mercy and generosity, as Ventus was not hurt or lost! The pain! It doesn't hurt so badly anymore!! It..fades away!!!

Replacing this pain was FEAR. Very real and very bitter fear. As she was close to Ven, she kneed down to him and wordlessly took off her scarf to offer it to him, in the means of wrapping his Noibat into it for additional warmth for the draconic bat. She doesn't make it to face Ven for now - how was Lucifer doing?

Ventus didn't know how much time had passed or what happened since the explosion, cowering as he was over Lucifer and temporarily deafened by the blast. Soon he began to gasp and wheeze as whatever gas that combusted started to seep in the surrounding air, and himself growing woozy and more delirous/panicked.

All he knew during then was that their was danger, he had to do whatever he took to defend his brother, and had to trust that Turiel could take care of all of them as they rode things out. Once he could regain his bearings, calm himself down and get himself togther.......!

However, before he could do any of that, he felt the wind pick up and clear away the gas + a sudden surge of humidity/steam in the air, which given that his little devil was right bellow him and he was currently deep underground that should have been impossible. A little while later, he felt something gripping on lower torso and something else softly *thud* down beside him, nearly causing him go into a defensive frenzy as he initially though Wild Pokémon had rushed over to the site of the explosion, overcame his ironclad insect, and where not about to savage him and Lucifer!!!

.....When he felt the outpour of sympathy and concern from those two being, though, his panic was arrested before it had a chance to spiral out of control, and the ill disposed researcher was left deeply confused. 'By Reshirim's Flames of Truth, what......?' he dazedly thought, as he slowly lifted his head off the ground to see what down here cared about him, and found himself staring at Ralts and his child Raphael, the former hugging him and the later standing by, both look extremely worried yet trying their best to comfort him. He then craned his neck up further and around, and found that the rest of the group was a short distance away from the blast site with their various Pokémon out by their sides, ALL of them display/exuding the same feelings as the empathetic Pokémon before him.

He stared at everyone briefly, agasp and in disbelief, and for a moment he thought the shock he was in and the gas in the air was making him experience vivid illusions. But when he took a deep breath of pure air and blinked furiously to find that they were still there.....

.....he swept both Ralts and Raphael into a great big hug, his body violently shaking as he resisted the urge to further breakdown and start sobbing in relief.

Though his ears were still ringing and couldn't hear himself, Ventus still said aloud: ", I-I don't-t how-w or-r why, a-and I-I f-frank-kly do-don't give an I-iota of a d-damn, b-but b-by th-the Tao Trio I'm so glad to see you all."

The shaken up sociologist didn't release Ralts or his child from his hug until Shiva came over and offer her silent aid, starring at her favored scarf dumbly for a moment before he realized what it was intended for, where upon he swiftly swaddled his brother in it. He too was HIGHLY concerned for their wellbeing, and started to meticulously check them over for any injuries, completely unconcerned about his own condition compared to his smol drake's......

That much she heard as she was looking up to the formerly breached and now mend pipe of clay and steel, and by all means she didn't like what reached her. Never before has she heard Ven's voice trembling so badly, she didn't need to turn around to face him to realize that the usually so stalwart and controlled young man that she was used to was...well, threatening to break like a dry twig would break if accidently stepped onto it.

Insecurity befell her, as under normal conditions Ventus was the strong one to lean on and Shiva was the one to come to him when things became too much to take - now, these roles were swapped. And Shiva was not quite sure what to do, how to react properly, it all was happening so fast and actions needed to be taken immediately.

However, she easily understood that she NEEDED to be strong, and eventually she silently decided to do what she always did: Simply being there for him when he needs it.

She came up to him in that FEAR, until she was close enough to Ven to touch him, and kneed down to him as mentioned. Still she doesn't make it to face him, it was as if that FEAR was actively preventing her from doing so, as if she was afraid that doing so would serve to cause cracks within HER while Ventus would inevitably shatter like fine china right in front of her. At the same time however, she felt an encouraging relief that aside from being so riled up, he seemed fine - things could have been much worse. M-U-C-H WORSE. A lifting up of her own hand to pretty intuitively lay it in Ventus' hand later, Shiva found herself coming even closer to place an airy and soft kiss onto his forehead.

She was there.
Ralts was there.
Raphael was there.
They ALL were there.


THEN, after having shared this sweet moment of reunion and assurance, she withdrew again and offered her scarf. Telling Ventus off will come later (maybe she can hold him back when turning in for the night will be it?) - doing so now will only cause more pain to him than necessary. 'Hopefully', she silently thought to herself, 'was this clear to the others as well", if someone of the others would be to scold or reason him now, Shiva will give the respective person a firm and deadpan look that was silently asking to leave speaking with him to her.

...it's such a relief to see Ventus is somehow okay.  Nathan continues to stay silent for now, though.

...Ralts doesn't stop hugging Ventus, however.

Being both deaf and somewhat dumb from him and his family brush with death, Ven didn't notice his most blessed girlfriend approach until she was right beside him and he could feel her FEAR and heart aching worry, causing him to look up her with a startled but wondering expression. When she entwined her hand with his and place that kiss.......looked/was stunned she would do such a thing right front of everyone, but that was rapidly swept to the side at how relieved and grateful he was to have his fae fancy right their with him in his time of need.
