Ventus, of course, doesn't see any of this, probably much to his frustration.
Eh, Ven don't care that much, actually. He's going to be confronting Nathan about this sooner or later, and if he wants he could just ask Shiva if she saw anything interesting besides the picture if he wants to pry. He's curious and suspicious, yes, but he's not going to be frustrated by Nathan's elusiveness until he fails to get answer directly. That's when things could get dicey.

Two games, actually. Pokemon Colosseum, and Pokemon XD (which is the sequel). Both are Gen 3 spinoffs for the gamecube.
Shadow pokemon are a...touchy subject. Games are awesome, though! Only games in the series where you can steal pokemon from trainers (only the Shadow pokemon, though)!
They're also almost entirely Double Battles, and they get REALLY hard towards the end.

Hmm, now that Shiva's curiosity has practically flared to life and she will get a point in Lore at some point anyway, she'll likely ask to please join in that confrontation. Yes, it'll lead to her getting to know Shadow Pokemon, but that's inevitably and she'll get along despite it'll frighten her. Oh, and she being present may prevent things from getting dicey, which could be a valuable boon.

Oh, don't worry. Ventus will get answers when he eventually confronts Nathan about this. Which ones depends on what questions are asked...

If it helps any, Nathan's terrified of the thought of something as ruthless as Shadow Pokemon existing too. Of course, that's not the only thing he's scared of from Orre's recent history...

Couple fangames have Shadow Pokemon too, including Insurgence. (or was it Zeta/Omicron)

Zeta and Omicron had them as a big postgame plot point. They weren't used in Insurgence.

Nathan's battle is in the morning, during Encounter slot 1. Heart won't be there to watch it since he spent the morning training, unfortunately.

I just hope we dont encounter Shadow Pokemon. This kind of thing is so horrible. Make pokemon more violence and savage though that process...Its disgusting.
