She'll certainly like to hear it to mull over it and see whether it can apply to her.

It definitely does.

Congrats, all four of you made it through! Wasn't sure that would happen, but the dice, Will Points, and Pokemon were with you!

Its a pleasant surprise for all of us, that's for sure! Questions, though: who'd you think had the toughest fight out of us all, and how much prep did you put into Dagney's Pokémon to try and stonewall us?

Her first team, against Nathan, was supposed to have the best chance - it was like her test lineup to see how strong your party is.
I set her party up (eight Pokemon in addition to her fleets) before you guys even picked your starters, then chose from her party some Pokemon that seemed a fair fight. That's to represent that she picks particular Pokemon to test you well, but she doesn't hold back on her dice pools or strategy.
Steel type doesn't have a whole lot of synergistic strategies like the Grass type does, and that's not really her style anyway, so I didn't do a ton of work on optimizing move combos (as evidenced by forgetting Probopass' extra fortitude in Sandstorm.)

Now I'm wondering how many NPCs and Important Trainers you have waiting in the wings for us, but I guess time will tell whether or not we'll get to face them, eh?
Perhaps one day Ven can return to the Gym and do some more work/talk with her, since he thinks she's just the bees knees in terms of just about everything! Maybe even a rematch in the future, if Dagney's inclined for such sporting activity and testing her metal against an improved Ven!
On the subject, what are the basic strategies of Zamboni and Chuckles, if revealing them doesn't spoil anything at this point?
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Iron - 02-16-2018
Zamboni is pretty noob friendly; he just has basic decent attacks and that freeze chance. He has stronger Pokemon in reserve if you guys decided not to face him until later or went a different way.
Chuckles hit you with all his strategies: lots of debuffs and tricks to match his creepy personality and the mood of Corsage Port after the Deltadogs. He can do a lot without even using damaging moves.

Oh, I'm certainly outta-chara looking forward to battle him as well one day or the other. That is, if Shiva dares or just decides to rebel.
