RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-09-2020 (04-09-2020, 04:44 AM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: ....Oh. Astonish makes contact, damn it. Yup, ranged moves are definitely blockable in that manner, like what just happened with Poison Sting. The idea is that it should take an action, yes, as you're actively attempting to supply cover to someone/thing and get in the way. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 04-09-2020 Welp, which way do we go, mates? Left or right? Or more accurately, which way do we explore first, as I want to get all the goodies inside this dungeon, if its not hiding some hidden super boss or something to punish 100% it.... Hmm....now that I think about it, would Kogeki's Ability give any indication of what's in either direction, Dragonstrike? Having a idea of what lay ahead would make it easier to decide which way to travel. Way ahead of you mate. If we use Karen emotion detection, Kogeki Anticipation Ability and Pyra sixth sense, maybe we could increase our range of detection and find items or maybe hided enemies. Maybe. What you think? RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 04-09-2020 ???? Since when do Devimp have a sixth sense, they don't come off to me like they do according to Pokedex Entries or their general behaviour/lore? If it's a headcanon, I'm sorry that it doesn't really make much sense to me... Could work! Or if it doesn't, at least we know how our respective powers interact in the short term, so it's a worthwhile effort overall! If we can't figure anything out, I say we head left. Going that way doesn't require us to drop down onto the right path, and therefore we don't have to struggle doubling back up if the right way isn't....well, the right way (or is, but doesn't have additional loot that the left way does) . If it's a headcanon, I'm sorry that it doesn't really make much sense to me... Devimps are essentially a type of demon in Pokemon form and function, so it makes a little sense for them to have some sort of supernatural sense or means of viewing such phenomena. At least, that's what I think Spirit is getting at. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-09-2020 (04-09-2020, 02:57 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: Could work! To clarify, the path leading to the right side of the tile is where you came from, as this dungeon is tile based. The sloping corridor is represented by the 'drop'. Err....alright, then I say continue on straight ahead from wherever the group is currently heading from (or from the right sloping corridor, to paraphrase you) . Taking lots of twists and turns is a easy way to get yourself lost IC, and OOC I think that if we keep heading in one direction until we can't is a lot easier to keep track of our progress and work our way through a dungeon. Oh, and no splitting the party at this point in time. Given how individually weak our charas are, even a 3 / 2 split would probably screw us over in the short and long term. Number advantage is just about all we got at this point, so let's leverage it for all its worth and stay safe! The chance of getting lost can be very easily nullified if either keeping track of the provided doc. with the map shared in the MainMenu, or by drawing your own map on checkered paper like I do, dear.
