RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Redstone - 05-03-2025 (05-03-2025, 12:47 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: @Redstone. To confirm, you’re going with Option 3?yes i shall follow the call of the SEA RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 05-03-2025 For anyone thinking of trading for the Choice Specs, keep in mind these are extremely rare and beyond valuable . ‘ I can buy a weak to moderately powerful Pseudo ‘ , buy a Mansion or top tier vehicle kind of valuable. Things that can raise SPE in the campaign are scarce, and the ability to spam Moves is hilariously strong in a world where most Mons have to pace themselves and have to dedicate more resources to be able to dish out a lot of Moves. An example of what would be a fair Trade would be Seddi’s Sand Crawler ( plus or minus a few thousand Poke) or the Bio Fang (ownership pending?) . Yeah, THAT pricey. Hell, Choice Items may be as valuable as a Master Ball or Key Stone, all things considered … Only thing keeping them from wide spread use is their extreme rarity and the stigma surrounding them: most Trainers think you’re a ‘try hard’ that are abusing a broken Item for ‘unfair’ Fights, which has resulted in a lot of official tournaments banning or restricting their use. That, and such power is not without a price, similar to the one Life Orbs ask for… RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Dragonstrike - 05-03-2025 With how brutal the Wild Lands are said to be, items with that kind of power are definitely attractive for the purposes of survival. Nothing quite like bending the rules to give yourself an advantage in fights that would be otherwise much harder, eh? If you aren't required to play by any rules, any advantage you can get is fair game! Something like that would definitely be of some interest to Seddi by virtue of his own personal battle style and philosophies. Having to pick one and only one move to use is of course a major downside (makes you predictable even if it is powerful). Not to mention the fact that it's an item, and is thus subject to all the various ways they can be manipulated, stolen, or removed/destroyed. And that's only the vanilla applications and effects! RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 05-03-2025 If anyone is wondering, all the freebie Items you guys received are roughly as valuable as said Choice Specs. Sunny Day is worth like 10k and having the disc being reusable is even better, Weather Items are ludicrously useful, Held Items that can be used by Humans VERY rare, etc etc. So yeah, y’all got some serious bargaining chips at your disposal! RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 05-03-2025 (05-02-2025, 11:06 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: ...Thank you, everyone. I must be making this a bigger deal than it seems to you, but when you've been away for so long and in such a right mood for awhile....well, it messes with you. With such a warm reception from everyone I'm now fully confidant I can get my campaign right back in action, delivering the same wildness you've all come to love and expect....if a bit more manageable for us all. Dont mentioned mate. We are friends. We might be away for a while, and life might make things difficult: But if the friendship is strong and united (spoiler: with all of us it is strong) no matter the storm or circumstances, one day this huge ocean called life will brought us together once more. At least this is what I believe. And for information, I still dont receive the information of my two new Pokemon I received in my team, in this case Hisuan Zorua and Dite. Its been long before I continue the posts in the campaigh. Edit: As a side note, what encounter slot this encounter with the woman Tiffany mentioned will cost me? Minor encounter, Moderate Encounter, Bonus encounter, Major encounter? I curious because I want to take as much possible this next encounters. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Redstone - 05-04-2025 i kinda doubt vernon would take the bio fang lol, though that is a very cool way to handle those items i have to say. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 05-04-2025 @Spiritmon For H-Zoura's Stat Block, here is the link to it - > https://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthread.php?tid=4681&pid=82387#pid82387 For Dite, here is some of the Info -> https://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthread.php?tid=4707&pid=82335#pid82335 For Dite's actual Stats: Base HP 3 , 2 - 4 SPE (Current 2 + Surprise!), 2 - 4 INS (Better Defensive Stat, Currently 2), so Current HP Total is 5 Pixalate HA works....weird in my campaign, from what I recall: It still converts Normal to Fairy type Moves, but it grants + 2 Damage Dice instead of 1. Morever, it also converts Status Moves and the general energy around it into Fairy Type - the WILL have funky interactions with Terrains and Weather, though Iron Leave's Verdant Terrain would handily overpower that aspect of Pixalate. Lastly, the more you use Strong Fairy type Moves, the more the local environment glitches around said Mon, until it becomes Pixalated : + 1 Damage and Accuracy to Fairy Type Moves, Guaranteed Chance Effects from Fairy, Normal, and Ghost Pokemon, Converts Normal Types to Fairy Types while on this Field Effect. - 1 Damage and Accuracy to Dragon, Dark, and Figthing Moves, Increased Bad Fortune Events for said Mons, and generally weakens said Types + 'naughty' Mons. Poison and Steel types....think pure Sodium and Water. BOOM. If they use their Moves in a Pixalated environment they're be drastically more effective, but drastically more dangerous too - they're competely immune to the effects of the Terrain too, beyond 'corroding' it. @Iron Big Dodrio's Stat Block Base HP: 6 + 3 (Overgrown!) , SPE 1 - 4 (1), VIT 2 - 5 (Is at 5), so total Base HP is 14. Specialties are 3 Brawl, 3 Evade, 3 Acrobatics, 1 Nature H/P: 2/5 and 2/5 D: 3 Nature: Rash Moves: Going of the Pokemonb.net pag for the Mon, everything up to Agility + Tri Attack; Egg Moves: Quick Attack, Haze, Supersonic Ability: Run Away - Double DEX when the target is Traveling/Escaping , preforming Evasion, or using a Move that affects Base Speed (Such as Quick Attack and Agility). Unaffected by Trapping Moves/Abilitys, Terrain Effects, or any obstructions. This doesn't include the Pokeball, but they have an easier time escaping it if they try. Naturally skittish and aggressive, this Pokemon is more likely to do it own thing in stressful situations. Surprises!: Overgrown and Gluttenous (Is a Berry FIEND, and is a thorough predator/scavenger) RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 05-04-2025 (05-03-2025, 06:21 PM)Spiritmon Wrote: Edit: As a side note, what encounter slot this encounter with the woman Tiffany mentioned will cost me? Minor encounter, Moderate Encounter, Bonus encounter, Major encounter? I curious because I want to take as much possible this next encounters. Any, though you currently only have 2 Mod/Minor/Bonus Slots to your use. If you used a Bonus, then you'd just have a quick post/scene describing what you're trying to do (within reason) - if you had the cash to buy Faffur, then you could just buy her and that would be the Bonus Encounter If you used a Minor, then you get a few simple scenes with Tiffany trying to do whatever you want with her (results vary) A Moderate Encounter would be like the one you 'shared' with her during your first go around the Koffee Shop, though what happens depends on, again, what you're trying to do with Tiffany Meeting with the mysterious backer would be Minor or Moderate, if you wanted to get that started ASAP. Generally, think of Encounter Slots as a modifer to how you want to spend your time in the game. Bonus for ths stuff you just want done and out of the way, Minor for things you want but don't care TOO much, and Modereate and above for the classic Windos Encounter experience for whatever it is you want to do. To give a brief example: If an Encounter Features an Item was on offer, using a Minor Encounter would just get the Item in most cases, maybe with a hint of something else happening thrown in. A Moderate Encounter for the Item, however, may end up with it being either a more Involved affair getting it, the Item iteself becoming more valuable or useful, etc etc.. When I get to posting Encounter Tables, I'll be sure to add whether an Encounter can be Minor, Moderate, Major, etc. ; some Encounter will be Minor or Moderate Only, while some can have a wide variaty of Slots applied to them. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 05-04-2025 Hmm, incredible. In that case...I do remember I still have two fossil with me. I could still go to the institute in this city to let the people there check what Pokemon can be revive. And how much it will also cost. Minor or Moderate. Cost to Revive Fossils depends on what you want to revive, and the process can take anywhere between 1 - 3 days. For the Poop Fossil they'd charge $1000 Poke, while for the other one....$3500 baseline (subject to change based on Encounter type). This is of course after assessing what the fossils are. |
