THAT phase of your life and relationship with him is long behind you now, and he generally trusts in your ability to 'finding your own way' without causing too much trouble.

With recent events in mind, though...perhaps it would be for the best to come up with a good story. Or a good cover story, if you want to try and lie your way out if he ever realizes your involvement in things...

That's true, and Bernhard knows this - though he still keeps close ties with his former Mentor. Same with the Scholar, however briefly. His gratitude towards both, for having tutored him in Magics and the Scimitar way of life, for everything basically, knows no bounds. He makes sure to not bother them with anything deemed 'optimal' or 'unnecessary' however indeed, for they are even MORE busy than he himself is. The last time they spoke, via letter, was when Bernhard asked for an invitation to become a member of Hexnomicarna Odinium, as well as sharing the successful brewing of the Panacea...

(05-13-2025, 07:49 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: If you're curious to know - the Nurses would say that they found you in front of the Center, on a spot out of the water and rain after hearing what sounded like a little girl giggling outside....

We're being indeed curious about that - and those news cause Bern to turns as white as chalk. He can almost HEAR that giggle, it rings back in his ears. He remembers that  f o n d  farewell of that power, and how he reciprocated it... "I'm so sorry... What have I DONE...", he mutters to himself once being out of the nurse's earsight.

(05-13-2025, 03:51 PM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: The very first thing Bernhard will do upon waking up - still in hospital though - is hugging Zephy. Hug her fondly like he hasn't done in....well, years, probably. "Zephy, my dear... Do tell me this: How. Are. You. Doing?" In a much more quiet voice: "Oh, how I missed you and your antics..." He almost lets out a sob. "We've got a lot to talk over. Like, a LOT. ...Later though, please."

Furthermore, once we got the attention of a Nurse we'll request to see Myra, Nirix and Spritzee. "....Please do tell me they'll be alright."

Zephy, who had just gotten up and let out a woozy *Mrrrr* , was in the middle of rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and saying "Ugh....why do I feel like I drank moonshine - " before letting out a 'MRREEEP!' at your sudden hug and overwrought state.

"Bwa-bwa-bwa Bern? What are you - ?* ...* Yes, ugh, I'm good enough. Don't wanna do anything requiring fine focus or try anything big or risky, but I'm fine and will be finer than wine later. *Pats you on the back with a soft smile* And so will you. There there, Erni....*Dizzy Spell* urp....BLARG!"

...Well, cleaning yourself off from the Mythical sick on you is as elegant of a way of getting your twos mind off this matter. For now

Your Mons are all in good health, though Exhausted due to losing most, if not ALL their Will - set their Will to 0 for the Day. You can still call upon their Power, but they're not going to be doing much outside of their Balls. Careful about overtaxing them or your Gauntlet too, needless to say but needs to be noted

Myra seemed especially concerned about you, nuzzling right into your side and letting out soothing rumbles. Spritze , however, seemed completely fine and unaffected by what happened - heck, they seem confused as to why everyone is in a funk if his blinking look is anything to go off on. Nirix just stand silent guard, watching over things and ready to Act despite their bone deep weariness .

Will set to zero for all of Bern's Mon, esxept Zephy who is at 4/5. Bern himself 2/5, good enough.

Just THIS time, we'll let Myra comfort us, return the trusty fox's affection by giving her headpats. She may even be able to spot the hint of a smile on her Master and Wielder. Nirix's silent guard is much appreciated, as used from the gracefull unicorn... While dear Spritzee being utterly and completely fine - it baffles Bernhard, very so. HOW that smol pink puffball able to be unaffected by what happened, he doesn't know, he cannot make heads nor tails out of this... But on the other hand, it's a Pokemon from you-know-whose personal kin of fairies after all...? He receives gentle strokes with Bernhard's gauntlet'ed hand, a much appreciating and PROUD look in his face. "And so was the premiere of channling your powers, dear one... Tell me, how did you enjoy it? Little could I expect for it to take such a turn.... However, I for my part.... Am looking forward for MORE to come. Yes, I indeed do.... Hehehe...~~" ...Let's ignore that mobird, almost deadly smile on Bern's face that flashes up for just a second.

We'll let Zephy sit on and curl up on our lap, giving her gentle and thankful pets every now and then.

(05-13-2025, 05:58 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: Well, before he can check any of that out, Seddi wants to get his scheduling straight.  He has two party members to talk to, and rather undefined periods of time to talk to them.  So let's see if we can sort one of those out with a message to Bernhard:

Got a more specific time that we can meet for our talk, Bernhard?  Trying to get my scheduling for the day in order.

Not until a good portion of the day has passed by indeed (no Minor or Bonus Encounters on this day, leaving me with two Moderate Encounters only) and Bernhard feels utterly refreshed and rested up, for until then he requests to stay at hospital. Just to make sure there are no suble aftereffects - well, bar feeling 'Joyfully Cursed'. Oof the irony of that wording.

And not until Bernhard has responded to all the texts he missed while being out and about, cue for our reading glasses and expensive-looking stylus (not the Astral Stone shaped like one)

The message the cowboy would receive reads as following:

Furthermore... Morgana needs updates, he completely missed the scheduled meeting with her previous evening and night, oh no!~ With good reason so, but he still feels bad for this.

She'd receive TWO messages, one goes out before picking up on her having had to cancel plans herself. And it reads as following:

As stated, Bernhard had sent the upper message to her BEFORE having picked up on her response over something 'revelatory' came up on her end that lead to her having to cancel the actual nighttime-rondevous business meeting of yesterday. Those news of her being in a mood are what spike his curiosity and interest - Who- or whatever it was that caused that mood, it better have a decent burial insurance. And not value its life nor soul all too much. Bernhard's not quite sure whether he EVER experienced Morgana out of all people(!!!11!) angry and furious. ...And quite honestly, he'd rather NOT experience it. E V E R .

A deep sigh escapes him, and he's feeling mildly ashamed that he was indeed...looking forward to that? Sorta?? Damn, Bern, stop blushing and making a fool of yourself. Go type a response to Morgana, right away, go for it!! Be charming~, be a gentleman, show that you're worthy of her, show that you care for her like any lover would to another, forbidden and twisted as that love may be.

That should be all for now! @Lord Windos, if it's no trouble for you, can you give me responses from Spritzee and Morgana first before I'll start my Encounter with the fox-lizard-creature please? Since I'll only have two Moderate Encounters this day, let's take things one step at a time!

Oz though for a few seconds and then try to remember as many details she can. "As far I could notice, she also had a Toucannon and a Raffiti with a marine hat in his head. She probably also a strong martial artist. She used techniques strong enough to bypass Persephone Levitate ability. She also looks like a captain in how she able to deliver orders to her Pokemon, so she probably have years of experience. Not to mention she was not only strong, but also have a keen eye in the battlefield. When she noticed something was wrong with Bethy not be hurt by Toucannon powerful moves, she changed tactics, and remained calm during most of the fight. She only begun to loose patience when she see Persephone use a powerup Hex move on Daikatuna, and then she broke the no faint rule she mentioned. Daikatuna is probably her oldest partner and it's probably why she was the way she was. She's also have a tendency of smoke a lot. Her metallic sheen also had a blueish color...do you think she was copying Daikatuna be a Water/Steel type? So she became a Water/Steel too? How strong is a Native? When I brought Hecate to the battlefield and then Mega Evolve her, she looks like she felt...hunted. And really consider to make the battle become messy...but...she gave up. Don't know if she felt in big disadvantage or if she wasn't more in the fighting move, or even both! Though...with how powerful and strong she was, she could have a fighting chance with Hecate. Don't like to brag, but Hecate while in Mega Form can go toe to toe with most Pseudo legendaries, so the thought of a human, even a Native one be that strong sounds...terrifying."

Oz gave a though look and then talk again. "This only make the mystery be weirder and weirder. I don't think I never see such woman before. Nor do I meet any rich woman in my life. What did she looks like? Is she old lady or a young looking one? Did she also said some kind of name? And...why exactly she was that interested in meeting me? I could understand Dodger due to his skills, Seddi in he be some kind of national hero and Mr Samsara due to him be a important figure in Scimitar society, but me? I just a medic in training. A good one I admit, but not even THAT amazing in comparison to other medics who are more experienced and have more talent than me. Do you think that woman required some kind of medical help, or any kind of ulterior motives?"

Oz look at Meza and then smile a bit. "I know this is a different experience. I dare to say for both of us. But I promised you: I will help you in whatever way I can. If you are willing to give me a vote of confident, I promise I will not disappoint you."

And with that, I ready to follow to the next meeting with Sylvia! Let's go mate!

Aaand I believe I won't be elaborating on this without upgrading the Encounter to being Moderate - we were pushing it before hand, but fully responding to the above block would make the Minor Encounter overlong. All I wil say is Tiffany notes what you says and promises to look into it, and simply gives you a smile at your 'Modestness' . Bethy rolls her eyes at it, but says nothing.

Meza simply huffs lethargically - dismissive but not violently so. You got your work cut out for you here, but if you keep working with her one day the clouds over her shall part.

Very well - you tag along with Sylvia to Main Street !

*Rolls*

....You feel as if you were being watched, but nobody approaches you or the Wise Esper. Coast is clear - for now.

[b]You know what the Encounter List is for Main Street - Which one do you want to Do? Or join in, in the case of the Barrama and Glowy Fox. IF Barrama, you can use a Moderate Slot to see what Mons or other Services they have on offer, but considering you dropped a lot of Poke on Meza you probably can't afford to do much shopping at all. For Glowy Fox, you need to use a Moderate Slot on them.

For Encounters not taken by anyone else, that would be Wild Item Stash, The Street Show, and *** ??? ???

Getting pretty low on cash hmm, surely the next time he tries to fish something up there won't be anything weird obstructing his plan.. surely.

Your most fluffy vulpine luxuriates in the rare touchy-feely moment with you, blissed out of her mind despite her own nagging Exhaustion.

Spritze tilted his head at you, curious and a bit confused at the question, before simply letting out a happy *Chirp!* and bobbing his head. Despite the backlash of that BAD Spellbind, the lil' aromatic seems undaunted and carefree as ever. VERY Strange, but then again they are a Fairy, and one hand-picked by Morgana at that.

INS Roll

Your most artistic mouse simply takes in the scene with quiet, soft happiness.

You didn't receive a direct response to your first message to Morgana - what you did get, though, was a Sparkling Lotus Flower . You knew its meaning well - Promise, Life, Renewal. She Heard you, and Promises to help you with this matter - when, however, is the question, as is what it will cost you...

Your second message, though...

10D6 Dice
(3)(6)(6)(1)(6) (5)(2)(6)(1)(3) 4 Successes

...and a small letter appears, alongside a red rose. It simply reads thus:

"I can spar a moment, give the gracious gift of myself, to enjoy a small sublime slice of summertime celebration.

With baited breath, a bossum full of passion and joy, I shall wait and come.

Ours, Truly,

Morgana"

Bern will get 1 Minor Encounter with Morgana - Make it Count~

====

Whenever you're ready to begin, just state HOW you are going to approach the Glowy Fox-Lizard; @Pokeitty2 you can also react to whatever they end up choosing ,or simply be the first one to approach and interact. Or wait for Bern to interact first before tailoring your own approach - whichever decision you think will be Wisest.

*Cha Ching!* Berries and botanicals bought! You also get a Sitrus Berry thrown in for Free, for making such a big purchase, and what looked to be some sort of cool and refreshing white fruit drink! No mechanical benefits to the drink, but its rather tasty and your Dragon types would love it too!

Since 1/2 of the Current Encounters have been taken/done, let's Roll up another (1) one and add it to the list!

Well Dressed Hare?
Minor or Moderate
A bunny rabbit in a bow and jacket is seen hopping along the street with a basket and book in paw; they look to be in a bit of a hurry...

If necessary, Vernon will spell out the Pokemon's name like you'd communicate with a paralysis victim who can only blink.

Sylvia intends to approach first. She'll step up to it in as best a friendly manner as she can, hoping their small physiological similarities will help get the point across.
Good morning. Apologies to approach you, but I had to compliment your colors. I don't think I've seen something quite like it before.

Sir is hanging back for a moment, though it's clear that he's with her and that he's generally watchful.

If given a friendly reply, she'll introduce herself and Sir and ask what the Glowy Fox-Lizard was contemplating purchasing for a meal, and offer to pay or help pay if she can (to a reasonable extent, of course, but hey - she's not above using food to bribe for friends).

Oh, definitely he will make it count. How so... We'll see.

We'll swiftly pocket that letter and that red rose before Zephy picks up on it. We're feeling pleased with ourselves for having asked Morgana in the first place, and smile like a mad man!

We'll watch that foxy-lizard creature for a while, then summon Myra, and point that creature out to her. Have her scan it with her psychic senses. "Tell me... Is that...being more friend or foe?" (aka does it react hostile or friendly towards Myra telepathically greeting it? Does it NOTICE Myra in the first place?)

The fruitiest dragon that ever was (well, maybe the Hydrapple line could contest that) preened at your compliment, and your questions is meet with them bringing out a tablet with another Vine Whip and typing the following on it:

[Thank you! Yes, I can write! I'm an Independent Pokemon - took awhile, but I'm equal to any other Citizen in the World! Wish I didn't have to leave my homeland behind to follow my dream, but you dreams are like seeds - you got to work to make them bloom! ]

Myra is able to get an easy reading on the Strange Creature, what with it being so distracted and seemingly enamored with Sylvia:

It was entirely indfferent to everyone by default, but their was a lurking Instinct to Hunt if it got too hungry or provoked. It didn't notice your fox, as it was too busy with Sylvia right now, but when she got closer the lox snapped its/her head over to stare at them too.
