However, if Ditto's about to get hit by a damaging Ice type move, it'll try to Evade instead if possible!  Flygon do not like Ice and want to avoid it if at all possible and remove threats using the attacking type ASAP, obviously, even if the heat probably makes it difficult to be Frozen!  And since Ditto doesn't have a large amount of Loyalty to Nathan (since Ditto's technically a Dragon atm and acts much like a Flygon normally would, does that mean it also temporarily gains 1 Loyalty due to Nathan's ATB bonus?), you can bet it won't want to take an attack on the chin if it's about to get hit by a quad effective type and will want to remove the possibility of getting damaged that badly ASAP!

Evade: 6 + 4 + 3 - 1 - 3/4/5 = 9/8/7 D6



If Ditto ends up Paralyzed, Nathan's got a Paralyz Heal  ready to cure it immediately!  He also has a Potion ready if Ditto reaches a -2 or -3 Pain Penalization!  Regardless of any trust issues currently, Nathan's ready to assist Ditto in any way he can!  There's a lot of statuses potentially in play here, and he can't cover every potential exploitable weakness, but Paralysis is probably the one Nathan is the most worried about!  The smog is making it hard enough to hit your marks as it is!



And if Floatzel is KOed, Ditto will switch to using Dragon Breath on Seviper instead of Rock Slide.

Spira thinks to himself: "There's something nostalgic about that Marowak, her combative personality, maybe ...Leigh... I'll name her Leigh." (note she'll probably not respond to the nickname until there is a sense of loyalty between her and Spira, but that doesn't stop him from deciding on the nickname now.)

With an Init Order like that, I'll edit my original plannes actions a little.

Shiva watches with great caution and wondering how that Egg seemingly...'glitches in and out' while these dropped rocks do nothing at all to it. Never before in her whole life has she seen such a thing occuring, and as the daughter of a Professional Breeder she has seen and handled countless Pokemon Eggs already. She gets the feeling this special Egg 1. isn't meant to be taken along and 2. it/the young Pokemon inside can very well take care of itself.

Her curiosity flares us, despite she has to cough from that smog. Pancham squeals up in his eager to join in that fight as these rocks hit both that water weasel and poisonous snake, with a graceful movement he leapt onto Shiva's outstretched arm from which he darted forward with amazing speed and raised fist to hit that nasty snake right into the muzzle before it even know's what's happening. Now take that!

Pancham will target Seviper for now, the moment the snake goes down he'll switch to Drain Punch which has the same Accuracy but 8d6 due to 3 Power and STAB as well as a lifestealing additional effect.

Purrloin stays out for distraction, if Pancham goes down to 2 or 1 HP, he's asked to retreat to me, that's when Purrloin will at best smoothly take over with some non-lethal Night Slashes, prioritzing the most weakened foe from the duo.

The VERY moment Pancham gets paralyzed or poisoned, Shiva will leap forward to heal that with an Antidote/her last Paralyze Heal respectively.

I think it makes sense for Flygon to gain Nathan's Noble Blood bonus.

As the foes flinch, Shiva's sharp hearing detects a strange brief "whining" sound from nearer the Egg.

While Seviper's head is turned, Shiva ducks into the Egg plateau. There, she discovers not just one Egg, but eight! Oh, and there's a ninth one floating in the lava below on a raft of sweet-scented twigs! The floating Egg is a bright red, the color of a blacksmith's forge. The eight Eggs are laid out in a row, where the ambient heat of the volcano keeps them very warm. She finds she can only take a few steps toward the Eggs before that force slows her down too much.

The other Eggs, by a brief glance:
-Red, with a red curlicue design
-Red and yellow with scales
-Blue, with white triangles and dots
-Colorful bands
-White with pink fluffy patches
-Black base, pale blue top
-A mix of blues and blacks, with a swirl in the center
-The familiar green and white of a Celebi Egg!

Shiva has a chance to Evade, and her Will Point will be spent here. It's her second action after trying to get through the wall.

You hear that whining sound again. It sounds curious this time, almost a chirrup. Suddenly, the force lifts its effect and Shiva goes diving through to land right beside the red curlicue Egg. Shvia, you can sense a living presence to one side in a shadowy nook near the lava pit. It's the source of the feeling I described to you earlier in a PM.

Seviper is still up though, and still hungry for some Eggs!

Amidst the smoggy haze and the heat, a Flygon is probably quite a sight to behold! It's not quite a desert mirage, but it's probably close!

Flygonno's finding this snake annoying, so it's gonna Screech to show its displeasure, then follow up with more Dragon Breath!

Meanwhile, Gallade coolly slides into position in the tunnel and begins executing his own moves!  For Poison, he no longer holds any fear!

Let's see...this snake is outnumbered 4 to 1, so Gallade's going to try something a little riskier while the snake's distracted.  And if it works, then this battle is all but over as far as the snake is concerned!

Defend the Egg! Round 2, that's a cool title.

We're all fine while Seviper's at 7/13hp.
I've distracted that Will Point. good decision.


Whoahw, Shiva was expectant what secrets this curious cave would hide between its walls, but never ever she could have guessed to run into such wonders. She just can't help but to call this assortment of special Eggs a 'wonder' as she catches a glimpse on them, smiles warmly at such a neat view. What a nice oviposition site!~ So shortly she's unable to guess what species' these Eggs may contain, and currently there are other things to worry.

Like her suddendly being carried much closer to the red curlicue Egg than moments before, her intuition makes her outstretch a hand as if to touch that Egg - she won't do so now, however, even if she would be allowed to now that the 'force's been lifted. Likely from that living creature in the nook she's darting her head towards to stare into its direction, that weird hopeful feeling intensifying as she does and completely distracting her for a moment. She cries out a few hasted words to that creature:"Curious? I am as well, I - we - mean no harm to you!" as well as to Nathan:"I'm safe, I'm okay, these Eggs are amazing!"

The next moment, she cries out loudly in startle as that Seviper goes DIRECTLY for her, only by a hair she makes it to evade its grap. Panic threathens to arise in her as she gazes into the snake's eyes, but before it overtakes her, she found her voice back. It almost echoed from the walls with with special emphasis. "Pancham, punch that snake, punch that snake, PUNCH THAT SNAKE ! It tried to get me, don't let it do that again, please...help me! Purrloin, NOW it's your turn also, SLASH it! Not with the intention to kill it, but please just..."

THAT was the moment the black cat has waited for.

I don't know whether it's legal for her to use Fake Out here: Probably not since she's been out the whole time? If yes however, that'll be her first Action instead of the first Night Slash. Same Accuracy but 5 dice in Damage Roll, +1 Priority and auto-flich for Seviper.


Pancham meanwhile goes for his stronger move due to the urgency of the situation. The snake may be less susceptible for that, but Master's in trouble!!

Oh yeah, Nathan would probably react to that in some way, too.

"...eggs?  There's more than one?"

Of course, Shiva almost getting grabbed by that Seviper derails that train of thought rather quickly.  Nathan and Gallade keep their cool and continue on, knowing that they need to subdue Seviper quickly, while Ditto...well, Ditto's more annoyed with the snake that attempted to Paralyze it than paying attention to Shiva, to be honest.

I forgot to mention something: If Seviper gets too close to her again, Shiva will either shoot an arrow straight into its muzzle or Strike it, depending on what makes more sense.
