It also does some weird things to a pokemon's stats that you would never, ever expect from the species in normal circumstances. For example, a super fast Shuckle that can actually use Shell Smash effectively without Contrary (though to be fair, Shuckle is probably one of the Shell Smashers that cares about the Defense drop the least while still benefiting quite a lot from the Strength boost in the base rules.)
But I digress. Both systems definitely have their ups and downs.

Oh. I was just about to head to bed because it's 1am here, but I guess I can wait play SPEE a litter longer to see how the Round works out, maybe even give these dice calculations for the next Round.
EDIT: Likely not, I just remembered that I should not calculate dice pools after 1am as that increases the chance that something will end up being incorrect by 50%, I'm calling it... night owl's penalty.

I would like to make a correction @Iron: Reuniclus is vunerable to Dark, Ghost and Bug moves and receive Super Effective from those types of moves. Shouldnt Shadow Ball, Crunch, Phantom Force and Hex cause at least +1 SE of damage in the dice?

Light Screen and Reflect nullify that SE damage with their temporary -1 damage. (and outright hinders everything else)

More or less, yes. Since the Reunicli are separated now and so weak/slower than everyone else, we can all safely dispatch them without Mamo sending off another Earthquake or going over to help each other. Ven's just going to have Malphena finish off her opponent and have Lucifer continue spamming Tailwinds for those five Pokémon, as that seems like the best course of action for now. Unless you guys have any better suggestions?
Also, the second Psychic attack on Malphena didn't Crit, so only 2 Damage Dice should have been rolled out for her based on the 7D6 Base Power of their attacks unless they got a Last Stand boost or something Iron. This means she only took 1 Damage from the Psychic, and that she can survive one more of them assuredly unless they start to deliberately team up on her. Going to save on Potions, so if she goes down Lucifer will pick up on her slack, as I will specify with his orders.
