Despite the simplicity of your response, the Confusion addling your brain manages to wretch control away from your consciousness and twists it into an 'improved version....': "My fluffy fox, the sight of your gorgeousness along leaves me Burning with passion, and Confused as to how such a lowly ruffian such as myself managed to steal your heart...."
The first part of 'your' response alone causes Kyubi to start blushing profusely and giggled shlying at such inspired remarks, but the second part caused her to squeeze you a little tighter in her hug before she pulled away, regarding you with a look of such simple, plain love that even Unconfused you would have find simply stunning.
"Master, after everything you've done for me despite my past self's actions and the kindness you've showed, you didn't steal my heart-I gave it to you, my love....."

Now freed from her cuddly grasp, you manage to quickly wiggle your way out of the covers and carefully hop/sprint over to your Bag, frantically searching it for a Full Heal before your Confusion wrests away control over you once more! In record time, you managed to find one and pull it triumphantly out of the bag.....!

....before you pivot around and chuck it into one of the former chair turned burning pile, throwing up your arms and letting out a "Woot!" Full Heal is destroyed!

At that precise moment, Weavile manages to burst out of his Pokeball and tackles you right to the ground in an unexpected Ambush, startling both you and Kyubi (Who had now gotten over her infatuation and was full blown concerned over your odd behavior) into inaction as the black feline! Knowing a prime window of opportunity when he sees one, he quickly darts over to furiously begans to search your bag for another Full Heal (One again totally destroying the careful organization in it), darts back over to you, and in one swift motion uncaps and injects the contents into you SOMEHOW, Curing you of your Confusion! YES, your free from being Mr. Romance now!!!
Letting out a huff of sastification of a job well done, the cat thief shot a knowing glare at (to Kyubi and Reiner) the corner of the ceiling, but it fact he was aiming it in the general direction he felt you Dragonstrike. He then held up a solentary talon/claw that you could clearly understand as 'Just this once, I'd listen to you, but don't go thinking you can order me around now, piker....', before mossied on over to his Pokeball and returned himself with a sense of aloofness and nary another gesture/response.
Needless to say, both you and the kitsune where still stunned at this turn of events.
What now?
"Ah.....and just when it was getting most amusing. Oh well, their will be plenty more opportunities to for entertainment with the way the little drake marches through the world, hehehehe......"

Well, once the initial shock from Weavile showing up out of nowhere to grab that Full Heal (good thing he's clever enough to sort of know how to use Potions and the like) wears off, Reiner just lies on the ground in exhausted relief and starts talking to himself to try and figure this out...
"...urgh...that felt positively AWFUL...that...should be the end of it, though...now...the only question is...how did I get Confused in the first place? Gah, come ooonnn, think...what happened after I came in to talk to Kyubi...?"

Trying to job your memory only serves to magnify your headache, and gives you the sense that you remembered all you would from those events. Given that you heard Kyubi's version of events and fully believed them, you have no reason to suspect that the account of events she told conflicted with what actually happened. That, and despite how thoroughly confused the fiery vixen appeared to be at these swift turn of events, she seemed perfectly fine emotionally speaking; you didn't even detect ANY distraught feelings/overwhelming negativity from her besides the concern she felt for you.
Looks like whatever was troubling her before, she's gotten over it and by all rights seems to have returned to being her regularly caring self, besides looking/feeling worn out.
Now what were you going to do again...?

Unfortunately, it was all but inevitable that he'd ask this again since it's the topic of the day for Kyubi...he's ready to help support her if things start spiraling downward, though, so hopefully that should keep things relatively under control.

Before you could think to ask anymore questions along the same lines, she asks one herself with a scrunched up and somewhat puzzled expression, as if the topic made her uncomfortable.
