RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 09-23-2022 (09-23-2022, 11:28 AM)Iron Wrote: My favorite part was coming up with weird Pokemon, like the Caterpie that could evolve and devolve or the Deltas. You got especially creative at some points with those, like that Ligno/Ditto Mother, or all those Primal Pokemon you came up with. Shame the campaign is practically over that we don't get to see what else you could've cooked up for the Elite Four or the stranger/harsher challenges, but hey, I enjoy what we got! RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Iron - 09-23-2022 You can always hop into the thread and make up some more whacky mons your character dicelessly obtains in postgame. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Mikaruge108 - 09-23-2022 (09-23-2022, 10:33 AM)Lord Windos Wrote: You know, I'm suddenly feeling nostlagic for the Skull Ruins campaign, so fo curiousity's sake and just for fun to ask everyone: what were your favorite Pokemon in it? Specifically:*looks at dusty copy of Spira's character sheet* Neura, his Yanma with the over-developed mandibles (had a surprise of knowing all biting moves) was definitely the most interesting of Spira's mons. Hard to say what my favorite mons were from other PCs The Mismagius coven (somewhere around here was my favorite pokemon/encounter; made Spira sound a little chuuni (intentional)) As for plot devices, Mega Syrentide (was it PD? I don't see a fight-type encounter immediately, but still a fun scene)(hereish) RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 09-23-2022 (09-23-2022, 10:33 AM)Lord Windos Wrote: (...) I already have a few answer, but I need some time to think them over, so in the meanwhile you guys can fill the gap. Ohhhh, same here about the having-some-answers-already, but to others I need to update myself first (like, no way do I remember everyone's caught Pokemon, but I've got everyone's Pokemon noted down in a seperate tab of Shiva's charasheet). I'll get back to that, what a neat idea! RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Mikaruge108 - 09-23-2022 If I may ask, how did the helm issue with Spira get resolved? RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 09-23-2022 (09-23-2022, 02:04 PM)Mikaruge108 Wrote: If I may ask, how did the helm issue with Spira get resolved? I honestly thought Spira just got it by default after that Scimitar force disconnected herself from it and gave it to him, from what I can recall. So far as I know, Spira is the full on wielder of it, unless Spiritmon also has some stake in it? It's been years since that happened, so my memory is fuzzy to be honest. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Mikaruge108 - 09-23-2022 (09-23-2022, 02:34 PM)Lord Windos Wrote:(09-23-2022, 02:04 PM)Mikaruge108 Wrote: If I may ask, how did the helm issue with Spira get resolved? So Spira still has it somewhere and it never got back to Nathan et. al, okay. I am writing up a resolution for Spira for fun (How I originally wanted his story to conclude), and that was a detail that I didn't want to leave out just in case. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 09-23-2022 (09-23-2022, 10:33 AM)Lord Windos Wrote: You know, I'm suddenly feeling nostlagic for the Skull Ruins campaign, so fo curiousity's sake and just for fun to ask everyone: what were your favorite Pokemon in it? Specifically: 1 - Thats a tricky question. I had owned a lot of Pokemon during our adventures (Heart indeed make the nickname "Pokemon Rare Collector" have meaning!). Among the many Pokemon I had, I suppose I could say three Pokemon who was among my favorite: His starter Rose the Infernape (I think every trainer have a signature Pokemon and when I think of Infernape I think in Heart), Gustav the Clawitizer (his Aura moves was pretty strong and he act as a decent healer with his Heal Pulse moves, not to mentioned his Water Pulse and Aura Sphere for nice single target attacks, and Dark Pulse to hit multiple foes if I not mistaken) and finally Quetzel the Delta Steelix (didnt had much moments to shine, but it was cooled to see him in the final battle with his cool mega evolution). Oh, the Victor the Trevenant (I like how the little cute tree Pokemon became such badass ghost-type. And the way he use the trees to stop Primal Deoxys to stop the energy to hit everyone was pretty cool). 2 - Thats another good question. My favorite Pokemon from each PC...Cottonee from Shiva, Gallade from Nathan (I wish Rose and Gallade had their battle), I think Ventus Togekiss (if I not mistaken he had a Togekiss but I might wrong), Mikaruge ghost Pokemon (I do not recall what Pokemon he used before but I do know he used Ghost-type), Terra Haryama (its been a lot of time since I read the Skull Ruins and well Heart and Terra never had a battle as far I can remember so Haryama is the Pokemon who is the signture in my opinion). 3 - I think one of my favorite encounter, 2 in fact was the encounter with Chespin, where I had to think outside of the box to resolve the puzzle to find that Pokemon (thanks for the tips by the way Windos in how to deal with the problem!) and I suppose the moment where Heart had to stop a flame disaster in the forest and Moltres egg hatch to become Moltres. I just wish this event happen before the campaigh became diceless. It would be awesome in see Moltres with his Golden flames burn away Primal Deoxys and his clones. 4 - I think Moltres and Lancelot the Aegislash was my two favorite Plot Device Pokemon. I like te phoenix style where Moltres came in the moment where Heart almost die, and Aegislash previous forms in the battles he participate. Again, I just those two Pokemon came appear in the battle against Primal Deoxys. How cool it would be with Heart using the Sword and Shield of Aegislash with his Earthpower techniques and Moltres burning all the clones. It could be so awesome. If I not mistaken, after Spira leave, the Helm become property of Heart. He didnt had the chance to use much since after Primal Deoxys battle, the campaigh became diceless. As Spirit said, I think the Helm was left in Heart's care after everything was resolved to spread the power out a little. So I don't think you need to worry about that part. |
