Not even Kogeki quick attack will not even tickle those guys. And Pyra Ember also barely gonna scratch. Ideas people? Marcus and Karen can easily handle the Bonsly with their respective STABs, while Kogeki and Pyra handle the regular ol' Ziggy and Kee can prioritize whomever they want, so we're not so bad off against this group mate! Question for Dragonstrike, though: Can a Big Nugget be used as a Weapon to increase the Damage of a Strike and/or way to partially block Damage if she holds it in front of her? They're big, weighty, and durable due to their size and density (Gold is quite malluble, but not fragile!), and Pyra can clearly carry hers with minimal to zero difficulty, so using it as a improptu club/shield doesn't sound too Farfetch'd of an idea. I wouldn't say it would increase the damage or could be used to block. Hmm....oh well, no big deal, since I figured you say that because you're rather hard tack about not letting stuff get additional benefits due to using them in unorthodox manners. Good way to control your game state, but its rather heavily discouraging of finding 'out of the box' solutions or implementations of things. Dont forget Daxter can also use Bubbles, who super effective against Bonsly! And dont worry about weapons. Kogeki Kunai can cause 2 typeless damage! Should be enough to fight against Bonsly. Of course, their's a decent chance the Bonsly have Sturdy as their Ability, so we essentially have to down them twice if that's the case. Of course, if they're at 1 HP they'll have to suffer - 3 Pain and they're more likely to sceddadle than be Fainted, so it's possible that scenario won't occur. Here's the plan I have so far for the Encounter: 1. Pyra and Kogeki should focus on Zigzagoon, as the later can get some Priority Damage in that could be enough to Pain it slightly while the former really can't hope to meaningfully Damage the Bonsly, so she's stuck with the browncoon. 2. Karen and Dax focus on wearing downing the Bonsly with their Spread Moves to trigger their Sturdy early (if they have it), or focus on the Ziggy + one Bonsly (Both of them targeting the same one) to try and KO the definitely non-Sturdy Pokemon with Pyra and Kogeki first before fully focusing on the faux sproutlings. 3. Kee.....well, I honestly don't know enough about their character to predict what they want to do IC, and I know Phantom doesn't like being forced to follow plans unless its necessary, so I guess they can do whatever they feel is needed to end things quickly. Similarly, Marcus I know nothing about beyond the fact he likely knows at least Bone Club, so he can help pair down the fake trees or roundly trounce the Ziggy before they get another Round. What do you think of this, mates? RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 04-15-2020 (04-15-2020, 04:10 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: Well, I know Kee know Snarl based in Kogeki Antecipation ability saids, who could hit both Bonsly. Sounds good to me! Kee could help us takedown Zigzagoon with Snarl to hit Regular Zigs and one of the Bonsly. That could help. The only members of the group who have Spread moves so far is Karen Disarm Voice, Daxter Bubbles and Kee Snarl. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-16-2020 Apologies about the lack of updates today. Spent my evening going through the DLC areas of Dark Souls for the first time (and had a roaring good time with the four bosses there. Tough stuff, but not entirely unfair). Now then, on with the (easier) pokemon combat! Hope you get a good time in the Abyss. That place its pretty...lovely when you get used to the darkness. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 04-17-2020 Never played Dark Souls myself, but I've seen plenty of breakthroughs to know that its a quality game, through and through! Best places I like would be the Archives and Ash Lake, as they're both pretty and have plenty of lore significance behind them! Don't think I'll ever play it myself, though, as I've played its faster paced and much iterated upon 'sequels' Bloodborne and Sekiro , which would make trying to tackle it a rather uncomfortable experience. If I want to play an retro/slow paced Souls game, I'd try to get Demon Souls running on my PC, since I just adore that game in general. One day Pyra will become a Chaos Demon, just you watch |
