Now we see why Poison is banned in official League matches.

Now you see as well why Shiva is so fond of Antidotes and Pecha Berries!
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Iron - 04-21-2017
Yeah it's a good thing they're cheap/common because poison is brutal in this game.

And that's why Nathan is protecting the Mankey now. At least until Larry recalls the ekans.

i was just joking, im joking half the time im a cheerful guy! Oh BTW here's my motto: never be sad for your useless when your sad, for when your sad you wont be able to help sad people
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Lord Windos - 04-21-2017
My motto for sadness is rather simple: Why cry about the bad things in life, when you can just laugh instead. It blunts the pain AND you bitterly amuse yourself at the same time. What a deal! If you can't laugh, then just get angry at the injustice/unfortunate occurance instead. Rage is MUCH more conducive to getting stuff down instead of giving up~!

Well, I really liked that little bit of roleplay between Nathan and his mom. Some of my favorite roleplay so far in this campaign. So, what does everyone think of her so far?

Hey. Burke's Peerage is awesome.

I am a grown man. It is hard, but I will pass on the chance to make an overly obvious Yo' Mama joke.
That said, this is the sort of character exchange that defines an RPG for me. Computers can't even begin to grasp this yet.
It's good to get at a look at your character's backgrounds and motivations for sure. Nice to see a character with good familial relations too.

I did find it to be quite lovely, but I enjoy player to player interactions a bit more, since I like learning more about the people i'll be traveling with! Besides that, I just hope everyone in game doesn't worry too much about Ventus passing out. He doesn't like it when people do that, since he doesn't believe he's worth the trouble...
Oh, and I thought of another Pokémon I want on my wishlish: Swablu. I'm interested in the little blue bird right now...

Enjoyable to read. Even if me too are a little more fond of direct interaction between party members or between Characters and Pokemon. Well played and written~ Not sure though how Shiva will react if Nathan tells her that he already trained on Confusion all by his own... Probably not just "I'm happy for you" and that's it.
Oh, @Dies Irae, nice dsplay of getting in touch for the first time with the newly caught Paras!

Well, your loss. Of course Shiva's worried if you let your chara collapse in front of her. So worried that she was staying overnight in the same room to make sure he'll be alright once he awakes from unconsciousness and/or sleep.
