RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Redstone - 06-05-2025 (06-04-2025, 06:27 PM)Spiritmon Wrote: So yeah, give me suggestions people! I do have an idea for the erratic group if Akamu and Oz take them on. The terrain is weird and random so we'd establish a secure place to bunch up and cast group support (safeguard etc) then bombard the boss with ranged fire, in that case copying draco meteor would make sense. With the officers support we could hold a defensive line to safely fire from, even if only a few rounds it'd be effective, the Blade Lineage is probably well off against an unorganized group and can pick off stragglers. Gloomtail may want to do his own thing but this allows for him to pick off rogue sands with the option for covering fire to support. Thoughts? A very good and solid. I was thinking a lot about some other move however. Draco Meteor is Power but have the downside of reduce my special stats. It is big, but I thought in other moves who could give a better edge in terms of support. During the fight against the captain, I did notice Life Dew became stronger due to the Rain. And instead of just heal 1 per end of the round, it was healing 3. And War of Wonder (Hatterene mega ability) along with other things, increase the power of support moves, including Life Dew. We will hit by a lot of different enemies, and we might not have enough time to use healing items or Healing moves quick enough to sustain the battle. So if Bethy copy Goodra Rain Dance, Bethy will know that move, and by extension, Oz due to Scimitar shenanigans. My plan is the following : Set Rain Dance. Then set the power up Life Dew. I think with that combo, we probably going to have around...5 or 6 healing per round. Which is good. And since Rain Dance is a support move, it will probably be affected by War and Wonder, although I have 0 idea what was gonna be the upgraded version. Maybe the avoidance of Fire types moves add their power to their moves? I don't know, only Windos know. That's probably going to be my 2 actions of the turn: Set Rain Dance and then Life Dew since I still under the effects of Perma confusion. Besides, I have some spread moves to hit multiple foes like Disarming Voice, so it could be useful. Thoughs mate? It is big, but I thought in other moves who could give a better edge in terms of support. I plan to set up Mist with ecclesia which prevents the stat drop from Draco, I could also have Nalu use rain dance instead so you can copy something else (its only 14 exp so i can easily get it). Mist should still work under rain since its also just water in the air, tho the rain will weaken my fire type assist. It is big, but I thought in other moves who could give a better edge in terms of support. Huh, that could work wonders. Mist could indeed prevent the status drop. And if you can set up Rain Dance, I could do the following of use Life Dew right away and already set the healing to start. I don't think still Draco Meteor could be the answer. I mean, yeah, absolute Draconic might is great, but remember the Copy move can only stay for the rest of the day, and I don't think I can copy another move again for the rest of the day (unless is the temporary version). Pure power is not always the answer so maybe copy another support move, just in case things get dicey could work. And with Oz impressive Special stat, even the weakest moves of her can hit hard. And her strength is not bad. Hmm...Wide Guard could be a option. A move who can create a barrier of protection could offer some nice defensive abilities. And if we use double Wide Guard, we can protect much more allies. I still remember how much game changing a Double Wide Guard helped in the battle against Necrozma back in Celadon City. Good times. Ice Windy and Blizzard is two other options it is more spreading moves to span in the battle field and while Blizzard can frozen solid, Ice Windy can reduce enemies Dexterity, making some of the enemies moves less accurate. Swagger is another possibility to copy and be used to boost your mons in strength (the Confusion could be a problem though, but with Mist, we have safe). Soak is a more nich ability, but could help eliminate the Ghost typing of certain enemies and make vulnerable to electric and Grass moves. And make them be hit by normal and fighting moves. It's a bit overwhelming how different approachs we can do with these strategies. Bethy is being extremely useful in this battle even if she does not participate. Scimitars are awesome. Also the option to copy Nalus recover to give her Non item self healing. I do like the idea of Icy wind. its spread and super effective against em. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 06-05-2025 Also, I probably gonna be leaned to bring Dite to my team. I do fear we might receive some nasty Curses in this match, so bringing Heal Bell to heal curses could be game changing. Just in case. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 06-05-2025 @Redstone Recover is another great idea. Self healing could do wonders in terms of Self sustaining (specially due to her double weakness to Ghosts). Could save her on a pinch. And Icy Wind again, another excellent choice. But I think I already on Bethy move pool. Let me check. *Checking Bethy move pool) Yep. Bethy already have so I also have another option to use in the battle. That open to other moves to grab hmm... RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Dragonstrike - 06-05-2025 Switch 2 releases today. Going to be busy at work, then pick up my console after my shift is over. Response time will be limited. Wish me luck! No unhappy customers yet since I still have units in stock, but I'm sure that will change in a few hours. Going to be busy at work, then pick up my console after my shift is over. Response time will be limited. No problem mate! Enjoy your Switch 2 play my friend! If things go well today, I might be free to play Sunderfolk late. Speaking of which people, being a little off topic here, any of you people want to play Sunderfolk game someday? Its a game who get some good inspiration on tabletops. And the best part: Only one person need to buy the game. And to play the other just need their phones by download the Sunderfolk app (which is free) and then scan the QR code of the person who owns the game. Me and Dragonstrike been playing from time to time. I think we could make a chat on steam so we may talk there to decide strategies. Or we could try Voice Chat on Discord, although English is not my native language. Like I said in the past, writing English is one thing, speaking is another. I would probably embarrassed myself via voice channel, haha^^'' RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Redstone - 06-05-2025 (06-05-2025, 06:47 AM)Spiritmon Wrote: Hmm...Wide Guard could be a option.
