Ya know, I completely forgot that D-Onix gets Tailwind. Provided they behave themselves, would it be okay if I borrowed them later to tutor the move to one of my other pokemon?
Sure. But I will want a Tutorial Session for you to help me Teach Rose or Honedge the move Shadow Claw using Viktor as a helper. With @Iron aprove of course.

Given neither of them have the move on their list in the book and Nathan is definitely not familiar with that move, I'm not sure that can happen. I'd definitely be willing to tutor a move Nathan is familiar with in exchange for D-Onix's help with Tailwind, though.

Huh, Natu and Xatu have some interesting abilities: Syncronize and Magic Bounce. One move who make the foe feel the same status Natu suffer, and the other who can redirect Status Change to the foe. Both interesting abilities.

Some ideas for moves Nathan might be able to teach to Heart's pokemon, @Spiritmon:
Koa: Night Slash and Focus Energy (would probably have to get Cranidos to demonstrate this one a few times first, though)
Hypno: Thunder Wave
Percival: Rollout (after I actually teach a pokemon the move and get around to using it) or Screech
Caesar: Confusion (maybe also Drill Run after he evolves. Also potentially Lovely Kiss if Nidorina uses it around Nathan enough for him to become familiar with the move)
Beldum: Headbutt (Solomon might have to use it a few times beforehand, though)
Spinarak: Night Slash (after evolving) and Electroweb
Ambipom: Beat Up (after Orthros uses it a few more times)
Patrat: Screech
Typhon: Giga Drain or Iron Tail (and also Drain Punch after evolving)
Atlas: Drain Punch (after evolving)
Gargryph: *shrug* (this one's rather open ended atm and would definitely need Iron's approval no matter what was picked)
Larvesta: Harden (would probably need Starmie to use the move a few times, but it could be done!) (Tailwind after she evolves)
Ferroseed: Stealth Rock (after it evolves and after Sentry uses it a few times) and Leech Seed (Snivy or Ray could use it a couple times for familiarity) (Spikes could also work if I can get D-Forretress to cooperate)

Yup, though Magic Bounce is arguably less situational. I'm looking forward to when Calam will be able to abuse the ability ;P

I can't wait till I can get up to some Baton Pass shenanigans with Luna. Not as spammable in RP's as it is in the games, though.

Baton Pass based mons are always a lot of fun. I have a Furret that knows Follow Me, Amnesia, and Baton Pass. Great fun in doubles.
But yeah, the move definitely isn't as spammable in Pokerole as it is in the games. Particularly since Pokerole's rules say the Passer can't increase the passed stat(s) again for the rest of the scene.

Yes. None can predict where they'll appear. They're an urban Pokemon though.
Thanks for the info! Now I'm having an idea how I could try alluring one at some point. :>
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 12-19-2018
@Spiritmon
Night Shade would outright fail to hit Shedinja because it doesn't do SE damage. It does fixed damage. In this campaign, it rolls damage dice equal to the number of gym badges you've obtained/significant milestones you've hit (because we aren't using Levels in this game), ignoring the foe's defenses and type (with the exception of immunities). For example, if Nathan were to use Psywave (another fixed damage move) or Night Shade, he'd roll 4 dice of damage (because he has 4 Gym Badges) so long as the target of the attack isn't immune to Psychic or Ghost respectively (or has Wonder Guard because WG ignores all moves that don't do +1 or more damage due to being SE).
In short, Peck will work, but Night Shade will not. (Also, Night Shade doesn't affect Shedinja in the games either)

In this case we going with Peck @Iron
