In Teazel Valley, Heart will have his greatest ecological challenge of all. What can he do for these Savanna trees that take hundreds of years to grow, waiting on just the right combination of events to avoid the predation of herbivore Pokemon?

Maybe try to summon as many Water and Grass Pokemon as possible? Since these Trees will gonna need all the Nature energy necessary, Heart will need the strongest Water and Grass types at dispose. He will also bring his strongest Pokemon of these types.

Maybe he might able to enter in contact with that Escartress Grass absorb ability he heard about? Such powerful being could help too.

Shiva absolutely enjoys being able to help Heart in some way here, thought it only shows moderately on her through a dear, timid and inward-looking smile that somehow manages to make her look even MORE adorable and cute. (Max. Allure? Max. Allure!~) The whole time she holds her Gloom in her arms and close to herself like any other loved Pokemon of hers, their partial Poison Type doesn't seem to bother her - it fascinates and delights her how much skill Heart is able to draw from them and their Grassy Terrain.

She was just about to congratulate him and tell how much she honours it that he went out to restore some of the destroyed ecosystems despite she was woried and down about how long this process naturally and normally takes, but before she could even say a word the PUNisher already turned the tide and congratulated her.

"Heeeeaaaart, what are you d-" Further words of her drowned into the applause, making her blush a little and attempt to hide it with one hand. BUT she was also smiling!~ Seems hard for her to admit that she's actually thankful and very moved by Heart's words, that and she hasn't fully gotten used to being a hero of Chresire now. Gloom however openly liked the praise, bowing and waving towards the crowd. At one point, seemingly allured by the jolly atmosphere, Azu even summoned herself and enhanced the scene with some magic'd-up illusionary doves!~

And when Heart thanks her for her aid, Shiva just has to give him a hug. He's just been too kind!~ "You... You deserve so much praise just as well though, it's been you who reforested things here, I just... I just helped! >///< Still, that's such a nice thing of you to do, using your new skill for restoration and reforestation... I've, eh, I've been happy to help you! ☆(^v^ )"


And a wave, a wish for a good rest and sleep later on and a "We'll see one another tomorrow again hopefully!" later Shiva's off again, Gloom still embraced and held close.

Sceptile definitely deserves a Happiness and a Loyalty for coming out of his shell a bit. Living in a Conditional Ball and attacking vicariously through a Scimitar was not nearly as enjoyable as a real battle, and Nathan's words mean a lot to the big gecko.

Especially now that you have all 8 of the MSC-enhanced badges Creshire has to offer! Just the fact of owning those makes you one of the stronger trainers. You'll be able to pass that power on to your Pokemon. I'll also give you $1200 for this marvelous research opportunity. If you have any questions about Pokemon or minerals, I'm your man. It's been an honor and a pleasure!"

"Maybe, but that Ligno was pretty weird to begin with.  Basically a large, walking tree, and Ditto came out of it like tree sap.  Didn't seem to be a Grass type, though, despite Hypnosis not working on it.  The Wood Hammer it used could have hit harder."

Excellent.  A happier, more trustworthy Sceptile definitely makes for a happier trainer.  Keep going at this rate, and Sceptile will be learning Grass Pledge and Frenzy Plant in no time!

Nathan's definitely carefully watching how Mason directs Sentry to reassemble the room's floor.  It isn't every day that you get to see how to construct an area that's able to safely accomadate dangerous moves like Earthquake and Fissure.  The structural support here must also be very strong.  He might have to remember details like this if he decides to accept Achilles's offer...

Nathan may not be the first Warren to get all 8 Gym Badges, but that's all the more reason for him to aim even higher!  He's still partially standing in his dad's shadow, but it won't be long now before he has a chance to surpass his father's achievements in the League.  All that remains is Hayes and the Elite Four...

As for Mason offering to answer questions about pokemon and minerals, Nathan does have one.  "Have you done much research into breeding Deltas?  I have one I want to breed for...various reasons, but I know it's not going to be an easy task.  I was thinking that maybe Ditto could help with getting that started, though I don't want to use them solely for breeding."

If Mason wants to know which pokemon Nathan wishes to breed, he'll get Orthros and show the researcher the proud hound.  "The story about how I met him is kinda long, to be honest.  We'd have to sit down and have a long chat later if ya want to hear it and what I've learned from meeting him. Don't really have time for that today, sadly."

+++ Now as allowed flashing forward to the next in-game Day, which is Sunday 11th June '17. +++



Despite it is early in the morning and the sun hasn't fully risen above the roofs of the skycrapers, Castelia City is already widely awake  - if one were to look outside the window, one would be greeted by all sorts of people heading up and down the streets on their way to work or to some early shopping for groceries. Among the citizens having lived here for years it's an open secret that you better rise early if you aim to grab the freshest veggies on the weekly market!

A certain young female, appearantly unbothered by this white noise reaching her through the open window, was mindfully brushing her hair in an attempt to bring some tidyness into her naturally-messy hair. A pitchblack Umbreon was sitting beside her waiting to be pampered with some brush strokes through her silky fur, it's been way too long since she instead of her father has done that. An unusually-looking Espeon was lazily curled up on the end of the bed while a sweet 'n fluffy Whimsicott was observing the scenery from the windowsill with eager and interest.


When Shiva was heading down the stairs to the kitchen/dining room with the Psychic-Fairy-Dark Trio following her, she was greeted by a prepared breakfast and a fond hug by her father. Despite the Daycare - officially - only opening in an hour, he must have been up and about for at least two hours already! That's the caring dad and househusband within him. But Shiva's mum was still there and she + her ©Pokemon (a nicely groomed Cincinno knowing eggmoves) promptly pulled her into a hug too - those two didn't even THINK about leaving to the Medal Office before having personally greeted their visiting daughter!

Shiva made sure to have a hearty breakfast and was mindful to feed her Pokemon their respective share. From the morning news she picked up the weather forecast for Unova - it'll be clear and quiet, ideal weather for a long flight. Unfortunately though this didn't mean that it'll be the same on the sea nor in Chreshire, so Shiva prepared for everything.


Farewells, good-journeys, stay-safes, good-lucks and stop-by-soon-agains were exchanged soon, and despite Shiva was - if being honest to herself - reluctant to fly back on leafy wings again, she knew she had to. Part of her even wanted to when reminding on the areas yet unexplored and Gym Badges yet unwon.

"It's been such a nice suprise and pleasure t'have you here for short again, honey (⌒▽⌒)☆" Xanthodes told his dear daughter as she was putting on her coat.
Shiva chuckled to herself. "Hehe, my pleasure!~ I... I'll try to come by again soon, and of course I'll let you know when I've won more Gym Badges, discovered more unique Pokemon or- ( ÒωÓ)و☆"
"Or when you've been accepted to enroll at Telperion, right?"
"Yes, of course!! My...report on lovely Primal Eevee here is going well, very well even!~"
"Lovely to hear, honey, lovely indeed!"
*cue for another tender hug* (つ≧▽≦)つ⊂(･ω･*⊂)
"Of course me and mum are gonna miss you if you end up studying abroad in Chreshire... o(TヘTo)"
"Daaaaaaad!"
"But I'm honoured to 'ave such a talented 'n lovely daughter like you! And I... I DARE Ventus not treating you like the treasure you are! ( ☆` ω ´ )"
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!"
"I know I know, haha!~ Here, I prepared a bento not only for your mum today but for you too! You can even share it with your Pokemon!!"


Shiva thankfully accepts this bento! It's one made with lots of fresh veggies, tofu (or anything people in the Pokemon World would eat instead of meat) and lots of Berries, all neatly packed together with well-cooked white rice. It's almost a piece of art.

There's more! He has also prepared a small first-aid-kit consiting of 2 Potions, 2 Full Heal, 1 Revive and 1 Sitrus Berry. "Just in case you are in trouble, honey... Or if trouble finds you. I trust that you are able to keep yourself and your dear Pokemon safe, but it's best to be prepared for accidents when heading out!"

It's all packed in a small and nice bag for secure containing and easy access, and looks

Shiva herself has something for her parents as well!~ It... It may be not much, but the meaning outweighs the size and prize a lot: Neatly packed into a basket are some fresh fruit directly from her Tropius, 1 Solace Mushroom (functions like a Balm Mushroom) and some sweets + Pokemon Food only available in Chresire. The Tropius Fruit are coming in handy, now Shiva's dad can prepare some pancakes with them for today's dinner!

A certain someone been silently watching Shiva and the big green Tropius preparing themselves for leaving from the doostep, the bright red eyes fixated on Shiva's brown ones and the black tail with the single yellow ring wagging in eager.

Though when Primal Espeon wishes Spectral goodbye with an eskimo kiss and Shiva does so with a cuddle, the Umbreon whines at her in sadness; her look one that unmistakable conveys that Shiva will painfully be missed from the moment she closes the door and steps onto the streets of Castelia City.

Shiva... Well, as much as she'd enjoy to take Spectral WITH her, she just can't, and this is what she tells her in the most gentle words and voice she can bring up. "It'd be way too much to bear my dearest, and I would not enjoy to put you into your Pokeball for most of the time.... Your place is HERE, Spectral, here with my parents and all the other Pokemon this Daycare hosts. But... I'll tell you a secret: If I make it to get a dorm at Telperion's student residence in Botanville, I'll do what I can to take you along with me, alright?" ♡(^v^ ) Now THIS is something Spectral would love, this is something she absolutely looks forward to, she will make sure to hold Shiva to that word!

This particular Umbreon is with Shiva for roughly 10 years now, their bond is one that no distance and no issue could shatter, and now Shiva has the unique chance to see what it's like to see the world through those very eyes of this companion for a few seconds.

And soon Shiva is back on her way to Chreshire on the wings of Tropius, bearing any storm and any aggressive wild Flying Types that may see her as an easy target for shenanigans. They didn't account for the Ancient Shield and the protection it grants though!~

Their flight is long, constantly Shiva checks a compass to make sure they haven't lost their way. The sea's somewhat calm... Maybe it's because it's still early in the morning? She's not sure... But something she is sure of, is that now she's got the time to do some sightseeing! She can't help but to be curious what may be hidden in or on the sea between Chresire and Unova, she's still got time for some exploring before landing in Tumbleweed Town for last preparation before heading towards Garlicburg.

"We will meet again very soon Shiva. There still a few Gyms to beat before challenge the League. I need to sharp my skills more than ever since I gonna face you, Terra and Nathan."

"And Shiva, I want to tell you something." He gave her friend a serious gaze at her. "Lets do our best in League okay? You guys are my precious friends, but that will not hold me back when we on the battlefield. Only one of us can be Champion of Cheshire, and you can bet I will do my best to be the one. I will make sure to become Champion and a trainer worth of Lancelot and he will finally become a Aegislash. And finally be the Leader my Clan needs. And to Koa have his final battle against Whimsicott." Upon hear his rival name, Koa release himself. Koa show his Dragon Claw to show his determination...and Heart do the same with his Earthpowers to summon a dragon claw of his own. "When time comes Shiva, the Ultimate Battle between Fairies vs Dragons will begin. And when that happens, he will be a fully evolved Haxorus. Be ready." Heart give a smile at her, and wish to her a good day, and he fly off in Moltres back.

More to herself she adds "I would be happy if I were to beat the Elite4 in the first place, I don't need to become....Champion..."

Towards Koa, that smol dragon he is, all Whimsicott does about the expressed determination is give him the MOST mischivous and mocking smile and expression imaginable, and Shiva even mirrors it bit. "Ohhhh, you're asking for some dragon-slaying-action, are you?~ Ahaha, well, if Koa does seek revenge THAT badly, he sure can have it once he's a full-fledged Haxorus, but be warned that me and Whimsi will not lagg behind by then either!~~"

She, her fluffball, and her blue fae-rabbit watch Heart and Moltres fly off into the horizon then, waving a 'Until next time!' to him.

Increasing the water available would help - but you'd run the risk of permanently changing the ecosystem to a wetter one. It might cease to be a savanna. It'd be a calculated risk.

The only Escartress you've heard about are in the swamp on the other side of the continent, but their abilities would indeed be very well suited to changing the water ecosystem of an entire region of the map.

"Breeding isn't something I have much knowledge in, but when I do breed Pokemon, I use rare or unusual Pokemon like fossils. Some take to it rapidly, others require special items or environments that are hard to get at a Daycare or similar." He teaches you a Destiny Knot that you can tie for free to increase the odds of Rock types breeding, including deltas.

He'll take you up on a future conversation about Orthros. His only advice there is that a Pokemon who frequently Mega Evolves is considered extra fit by potential partners.

Actually it's pretty sketchy to just write some healing items into your character's inventory, but at this point battle items aren't super useful, so I'll allow it. We won't bother with the bookkeeping of such common items - same for red Pokeballs.


Exploring near Garlicburg's region, you're still seeing mostly Wailmer and Wailord. But you're also spotting an increase in gigantic-sized Pokemon, especially crustacean and fish mons. They seem to feast on gigantic, nutritional kelp (or on Pokemon that eat the kelp).
