Wailord is only 50' long. This island I'd say is about 2500' in diameter. Cocancer is the size of 50 Wailord.

Yep, you can soon see the nuclear sub ship out from a port hidden by vines.


Cocancer doesn't seem at all upset about all the people stomping around on its back, but you get the feeling he might be upset about some of the things that were stored under his belly. You don't think he even hears your words though.



As I recall, you actually know the exact location of the Genesect fossil. Just haven't set out to find it yet.

Hmm well, if huge Cocancer can't hear tiny Shiva's words on default, maybe the can if she gently burrows that Frozen Roar from Heart if she's allowed to? "Just for short please so I can make myself be heard towards this islandmon!"

When being given that mildly-and-reproachful-frowning-glance from Ven, the sensitive fae-enthusiast does not flinch away, but she becomes a little meek and eventually looks to the side with a somewhat sad expression. Yet however, she's smiling, and this smile of hers conveys nothing but understanding and insight. "Ah well, I see... But, but.... *timid smile intensifies* I kinda DON'T want to let you go either, but I DON'T want to hinder your recovery in any way either! Weird yet interesting that for you being able to fully embrace me you I need to be away from you, isn't it? She's for certain pick up the undertones of the reaons why Ven stays, and she smiles knowingly-mischivously at him concerning that. "Weeeeell, right now I won't leave, my dearest, no!~ I think I can...stay for another day here on the island, to do things with you all as well as planning my travels a bit and such. A bit of downtime after exploring these labs sounds good, now doesn't it? (･ω<)☆ And if anything comes up, I'll be just a call and short flight away!~" (Metawise this means that Shiva does stay for a little longer, but mostly to wrap up any loose ends. I'm somewhat reluctant to actively help on retriving that Genesect Fossil though - for reasons that this is Nathan's and partly Ven's aim, I don't want to interfere nor do I know how much of a help Shiva can be...)

Oh and she blushes VIVIDLY as the eccetric sociologist's last words concerning any 'gifts'. "Veheeeeeen!!! (>//<) W-we're in public, eeeekkk!" But when she leans in as if to hide her face in his chest, she mutters a timid yet honestly-joyous "Okay, my likewise dearest".

Terra, meanwhile, had just noticed the Shieldmaidens arriving to Garliburg, and was about to going over and investigate when the sand beneath him started to shake viscously and the water by the beach churned violently, causing the normally stoic man's eyes to bulge out of his head in shock and horror at the phenomena and Shiranui (Who was still out with them) start to mirror their panic. Immediately, they, as native Hoens that lived on a island way off the coast, could only come to one conclusion: an huge earthquake had happening, and it was about to herald the coming of a equally huge Tsunami. Once that idea solidified in their heads, the two of them flat out bolted towards inland at almost Extreme Speeds, frantically searching for his friends so he can round them and take them to high, stable ground to weather the upcoming disaster.

After it was revealed what was causing this literally earth shaking event, both Pokemon researcher and sagely monk came to the exact same conclusion: 'Crikey...what a colossal crustacean.'

From there, the two wasted little time regrouping together, with Terra spotting Ven and Shiva and rushing to join them and the eccentric scientist just staring at the TITANIC COCANCER with a look of......well, 'stunned and weary indignation' is the closest thing that describes it.

Ven: ".....Why, oh why, must I be always and absolutely correct in all the wrong and worst ways inconcievable....."

Terra (who was not looking too composed himself) had nothing to say about that remark, his lips twiching downward briefly in sympathy before he focused his attention on the OVERGROWN crab.

".....How are we going to handle this, Ven?"

".....I honestly haven't the foggiest clue, beyond abandoning everyone but our friends and, pardon my language, getting the fucking Kyurem's Frosted Domain off this monstrosity. Be it by FLIGHT, Teleportation, or whatever other arcane means everyone has avaliable"

"*Terra Frowns* .......Should do more than that. Rescue others here too, and prevent....giant crab from becoming more of a problem."

'*Frustrated Sighing, followed by a irritated look* If I could devise of plans to do exactly that which don't have a non-zero percent chance of royally screwing the Poochyena at any stage of them, failure or success, I would have already begun to enact them instead of wasting precious time explaining this to you. Your nobleness is not needed in this situation, Terra. Your job , need I remind you, is to listen to me and put our friends safety and well being at the foremost of your priorities and concerns. The rugged wanderer was not pleased with the orange haired maniac's callousness towards their non-companions, but with a heavy *Sigh* they grudgingly nodded to him. Unhappy as he was, they were right: they were[i] his boss, and he [i]had his duty to fulfill. No matter his feelings, no matter his beliefs, he must obey and uphold them, no matter what.

By this point Ventus would notice Nathan's own efforts to coordinate an effort to stop the TITANIC COCANCER with the military and scowls at what he sees, sharply looking at Terra before ordering them to stay and protect Shiva before sprinting off to the boy. Once he arrived, he gave the young hero a supremely urgent look and simply (and hurriedly) said thus: "Nate, I beg of you, don't be a hero this time. Let the military and League handle this.....creature at their own discretion. We still have the rest of our vacation to do and your friend's request sometime afterwards, and we can not afford to jeopardize either, ourselves, and our friends and Pokemon by trying to subdue this....this living landmass . Come on Nate, let's go. Please."

Terra, meanwhile, watched and guarded his boss' dearly beloved as commanded, obviously noticing her nonchalant attitude (which confused but also comforted him) and attempt to communicate with the TITANIC CONCANCER, and after a little bit of thinking elected to summon O-inari - who had been keenly aware of the events and was halfway between agitated alarm and savagely thrilled by them - take the Frozen Roar from her, and presented it to Shiva.

"Use this. Should help you be heard by it."

He then turned to his sly vulpine and raised a simple question: "Can use use your Illusion power to.....make Shiva appear large and in front of giant crab? While she talks to it? At range?"

From his research on the Zoroark species, some particularly exceptional individuals were capable of powerful, wide range, and long distance Illusions, and between his intense training and the Legendary forces that have shaped his Darkest Darling it could be possible for her to do those herself. If not.....well, he'll have to think of something else. Quickly.

Zoroark is mostly good at Illusioning ITSELF, or at small will-o-wisp pranks. But the Frozen Roar should certainly help Shiva amplify her voice.

Cocancer doesn't think he is causing a ruckus. He shifts uncomfortably, knocking over a craggy peak or two of the crater-shape that's all that's left of the island. The more people mess around with the biggest things, like the incinerator and the (paused) nuclear sub, the more upset he becomes.

Of course, he's a bit of a threat even without being angry. Any careless movement could cave in the whole industrial complex.

That last part was aimed at that group of military personnel.

"...*sigh*...it's obvious that Cocancer is uncomfortable with some of the things that have been placed here while it's been sleeping.  We need Cocancer to not make any sudden moves and stay calm, we need to keep as many people as we can calm, and above all, the League needs to work together with Cocancer to fix this mess before it becomes any worse.  The facility may need to be abandoned.  I can't make that call, obviously, but I sure can try and spread the word to stay.  Calm.  The more everyone panics, the more danger everyone will be in!"

Nathan's just about ready to run off and check on other groups to make sure they're not gearing up for battle, because that would certainly do more than mildly annoy Cocancer, but then he has an idea.  "Wait, I think I know exactly who can make that call..."  Nathan pulls out his pokedex and dials Achilles's phone number.  Hopefully the Gym Leader tasked with protecting this region isn't too busy right now to pick up the phone...

"Thank goodness you picked up, Achilles.  So, it seems we have a bit of a situation on Garlicburg...or rather, on the back of a giant Cocancer that you can probably see from the shore.  Seems it just woke up after a long nap, and some parts of the facility that have been built on and around it are causing it discomfort.  If it gets angry, a lot of people could get hurt, and a large part of the facilities here could end up destroyed.  We're gonna need a little help and authority on this one to keep everyone calm and get everyone out of this safely.
