All of this sounds wonderful, and quite convenient for breeders and casual players alike. The main problem I have with it, though, is the idea sounds quite complicated, and therefore a much more daunting idea for developers to implement it than other potential additions (Like adding in old Pokémon). If they could do it, I'd be happy with such an app, but I don't think this is an idea they'll bite until well after they are finished updating the game with all the missing content.
