RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Mikaruge108 - 02-26-2019
The Metal Gear joke I decided against using was something along the lines of Spira picking up the cardboard box and suggesting that one of the characters use it as camouflage.

Hey people...
Eight generation confirm. Despite my previous opinions, this game looks gorgeous.

That's what happens when you put pokemon on an HD home console. LGPE looked pretty good visually, too (though the environments were a little...static).
Anyways, I think it's about time for...
All passengers, the hype train is now leaving the station.
*Choo choooooo!!*
...that. Eeeee, I'm so excited! I can hardly wait 'til November! Good thing FE 3 Houses and FF 7, 9, 10, and 12 should keep me occupied in the meantime.
Anyways, I'd gush more, but that'd probably be better suited for a new thread entirely once we get some more information.

*waves the hype train goodbye as she watches it leave the station* I pretty much dislike that hyperrealistic graphic style, it's just...not my taste, pixelish sprites are way more up my ally. Means, even if my brother owns a Switch since lately, I very likely won't get these games. Rather sticking with retro and fangames. I'll a take a look at the new species of Pokemon though via news and wiki.

Yeah, though the graphics are pretty good, not gonna get 'em. unless I happen to find it and a Switch dirt cheap at a thrift store

*Joining in the train until the sunset* Indeed. The Nintendo Switch will be strong enough to play future games of the company. Shame I would need to sell some organs to at least buy that Switch here in Brazil. Have a lot of games in my steam until the time comes.
Well, I also someone who like very much the pixel art. Shovel Knight is on my list of retrogames to buy it.
Now it comes to one question: What types those starters gonna be? I have a few guesses, but I gonna make a separate post of this one.

You appear to be rather busy lately, Iron. Is everything alright at your end? Or did your cabin keep you occupied?

6 Insight strikes again! It's the cabin. Soooo close to being finished, but things are going wrong constantly. Everything I fix or get fixed causes something else to break, even when pros do it. They've all decided my cabin is cursed.
Tomorrow the building inspector comes to make sure I did it all correctly. If so, I'll have lots of free time for Skull Ruins! If not, I have to spend all day fixing it, no updates!
