Yeah, uhm, I... am actually having second guesses about whether Bernhard will join the fight against the Boss at all after what happened, or book it and stay with Citrine and Vernon instead. Talk with Zephy, and properly rest up after that mental AND physical trauma on his end. Not too sure yet, not at all, depends on the circumstances of his Gauntlet and HOW he will fight (via spells or like a Trainer) and how fast he can make it function again. That, and even if he can fight via spells, the stress his Gauntlet will take surely will be severe. ...I'm sorry that I have to tell you this at all, but... better be warned, better play with open cards than deal with unpleasant suprises.
He would have to find someone Skilled enough to re-attach his Gauntlet back to his arm to attempt Spellcraft The Scimitar Way. Which to do so Fast and in a high stress situation like an active war zone for Bern to be able to participate 'safely' in future Boss fights this Encounter is liable to come with issues . That's not even getting to the fact that the Stress/trauma it and Bern has suffered will make any Spells made with it in the near future even more liable to mess up or go wrong...
Zephy is opposed to Dealing with Higher Entities on principle, since even if the benevolent and sympathetic/empathetic ones are waaaaay too much trouble than their worth in her opinion. See - her views in general about Bern's relationship with Morgana before Drama happened to give the lil artist ample reason to hold a Grudge just for the Fae Lady. In this case, though, with so many lives potentially on the line and her Partner's general wellbeing also being up for fixing....she would be tempted indeed to agree.....if she was Present W h e r e v e r your PCs are now.

Not a problem at all my friend. If Windos permited I will at least ask him if Oz can at least try to use her healing powers to heal your wounds. At least to put you and your companions out of danger and in good better conditions. Even if you not fight, I will fight for the both of us. You already fight as much you can.
We are both Sky Scimitars. Even if Oz is a ex-Scimitar, I will fight like one in your honor Phantom. Thats I promise.
You can make the attempt if T h e D e a l doesn't go through, though surgery like that is not exactly your character's forte. Being a former Scimitar does mean your PC is more familiar with the workings of Gauntlets , however, so that would help even if the Custom Hand Prosthetic Model is rather far removed from the old Wearable Model your PC once owned.

....That means Bern CAN still and WILL be able to summon his Pokemon, can he? Given that Zephy got locked into her Ball, it seemed.

Once you get the Gauntlet back you can Unlock it and The Balls connected to it with your free hand + secret magical passwords with not too much trouble (discomfort be hella high tho). Their is some benefit to keeping some of the more over-emotional Mons Locked until they calm down - like Muse, so she don't go panic all over Bern and/or kidnap him to the nearest Center - so factor that too when you go Unlocking/Checking on your Partner an Mons.

@Dragonstrike : Your thoughts on the ongoing vote? You're the last one to definitively make a 'Yay' or 'Nay' on the matter. Right now the Rejection Option is leading at a 2 - 1, but you CAN deadlock it if you want to leave it in my hands to be the tiebreaker.
The main benefits of taking the deal is immediately putting an end to the Super Boss' BS and turning back the clock on all the henious shit it pulled, as well as the Boon, Heals, and (for Seddi) a way to neatly solve things while advancing his own research path nicely. The main drawbacks are you're character's immortal SOUL is now on the hook as collaterol for a whoooole bunch of stuff, and failure to get any of it done before dying or fucking it up is implied not to be in your PC's short or long term interests.

Welp.
That's 2 for 'Take the Deal' (Bern and Seddi) , and 2 for 'Refuse the Deal' . I was kinda of afraid of this happening, but that's what ya get when you do voting this way with an even number of people....
I've been thinking about this, and for various reasons I'm leaning toward Refusal due to the following in the event of a tie:
- On Seddi's roster Iron Leaves would be rather against any entity tampering with Her Partner's SOUL or an being such as Fayette muking about in The Mission by extension/derailing, and Ceruledge would likely have a freakout about it too due to her Master all but selling his SOUL.
- On Oz' roster their is Glinda to consider and how the Deal would impact her, and in general I expect the Coven as a whole to be less than pleased at the idea of yet ANOTHER Divine force putting another land mine for their beloved Sister....
- Bern has Zephy, who would DISLIKE the thought of ANYONE being on the hook for such a MONUMENTAL BOON, much less her cherished Partner or the people they were *just* starting to become good friends with. IC Acrowls also should've taught his pupil about taking bargains from Entities of Power is almost ALWAYS a terrible idea unless you're doing so from a position of power and leverage yourself (which seldom few people have) or you somehow managed to develop some sort of positive raport with them.
- Last but not least Akamu and his Patron would likely have a huge fallout if he willingly accepted and an absolute crashout/panic attack/grudge against the rest of the party (but mostly Oz for SUMMONING the damn thing) for getting Her Acolyte into a terrible 2 way bid for him that does not favor her AT ALL (and in fact could end up screwing HER over too).
So....yeah. Deal is probably going to end up off unleash someone wants to change their vote. Well, unless someone wants to start literally sell thing SOULs, Years of Life, and other hideously precious stuff now and future of their PC and Mons if they want to be a hero.
.....Please don't do that, by the way. I rather not have a PC Lost because of a Deus Ex Machina going Diablos instead....
I'll give this one more day for everyone to offer their final takes on this , mull this over and see if anyone changes their mind, and let anyone make their posts in the Game Thread if they so choose.

For the record, I am fine with continuing the combat as well. While saving *more* lives would be preferred, it's not expected. And I do believe we are capable of taking on this Malefic despite the injuries we've suffered on one side.
So yeah, neither I nor Seddi would be upset with the deal falling through due to an impasse.

From my side, I will keep my decision all the same. Oz don't like the idea of making miracles to happen (thats why she was only willing to do the Healing Wish in Juniper situation as a last resource since in her mind, we must make the change based not in miracles, but by doing our best). Thats why she study medicine all her life to be the best medic and healer possible. Yeah, she IS a ex-Scimitar and Scimitar rely on magic or other tech and Pokemon, but in Oz mind, rely only in ONE type of knowledge is like invite chaos and suffering to your life, and have a "close" mind. Not to mentioned rely to much in miracles sometimes make people not exatcly willing to try their best when calamity is close to your door. She is not that prideful however since she...well, used literally a miracle to bring back Glinda. She is not above in use miracles just in case that was the last resource.
And then again, there the points Windos brough up. Oz Coven is displeased with the idea of another divine force meddle with their lives. Maybe the old Oz would accept the deal, but after what she is capable of, and what their friends can do when fighting together (specially after feeling the deeper connection with Zoete and Hecate) she feel confident that no matter the danger ahead, as long as they fight together, they can destroy that Malefic Monstrum. And like I mentioned to Dragon in our conversation via steam: She is not a god. She is human. A human/hybryd at the moment, but still human. She wants to save the lives of everyone...but she knows it could also ended up causing a lot of suffering to her family, friends and companions.
And one thing is certain: She will avenge those who was killed by the Malefic Monstrum. And I have a idea of what Oz gonna do later after the battle against the Malefic Monstrum before the fusion is over, since I certain it is not permanently and try to bring "peace" to the spirits who was killed and enslaved during the battle. With @Lord Windos permission of course if he let me explain my idea later when got the chance.
Also, it is a bit late so I not gonna the reaction on the game thread NOW, since I need to sleep.
