RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 04-17-2020

Shit sorry I keep forgetting to read this thread. I just straight up attacked the Gligar, if that's okay? I promise I'll check in here from next time onwards. I figure Bubble's SE anyway. Really sorry though.

Also, sheesh, Pyra's dark as heeeeeeeck xD. Hope we can bring her over to a more balanced side. I don't want her and Dax to face off over morality differences lol.

Sorry for anyone who's been trying to read my latest post. I made quite a few edits to it, but this version should be the final version. Lemme know if I shouldn't attack the Gligar, and I'll edit that part out if dragon lets me.

Ah dont worry about that mate. We all forget sometimes in read a few posts from time to time. I been playing Pokerole since...what? 2016-2017? And even with 4 or 3 years of experience, I myself tend to forget in read posts. So yeah, no need to apologize for that my friend.

Before I make my post @Dragonstrike, did Kogeki and Pyra find anything with Zigzagoon or the Bonsly?

He said there's nothing noteworthy on them if I remember right?

Yup, nothing noteworthy as far as generic loot goes.  Good job paying attention!

Okay then!

Now who I should focus my attacks? I think I keep using Quick Attack, even if I can use Bite too with hope of Flinch enemies.

Should I use Quick Attacks on Gligar B, since its not gonna be hit by Daxter Bubbles and help Marcus finish off Gligar? Or should I focus on Meditite with the danger of him use Huge Power to increase strengh?

Unless Dragonstrike changed Huge Power to have an effect on a Pokemon's actual STR, you don't have to worry about it much, since it only affects Carrying Strength in Pokerole by default.

Yeap, those Gligar need to be KOed ASAP, as they know Poison Sting no matter what Instinct they have, and if they have 2 they have access to Sand Attack and Knock Off to make our chara's lives less enjoyable mid-Fight. Meditite isn't too much of a threat unless Dragonstrike decided to give it Force Palm or an Egg Move, and trying to gang up on it early on in the battle might backfire if it goes with using Bide or Detect as one of its Actions. I suggest using Bite on the slower Gligar (Kogeki is above them in Initiative, if I remember correctly), as if we can Flinch them that means we have one less chance of being Poisoned or Crippled by those dang venomous bats, and having Dax blitz both of them with Bubble to get them all washed out ASAP. If Kogeki is slower than both, go with Quick Attack on the Gligar on the top of the Initiative, and hopefully we all can coordinate in taking down them Gligar within the Round or very early on in the next one (if need be). We have a single Pecha Berry and maybe others via Marcus to treat Poisoning, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't prioritize not getting sickened by shutting down its sources!

Going to modify my Orders a bit to account for Gligar being Poisonous, so I'll let you know when I finish doing so!

Alright, I'm done editing my post, so take that in account mates!

This might be a tad bit late, but I say too that it ain't no big deal making a slip up like that. Heck, I do that time from time or have to make hasty edits based on new posts popping up while writing up my own, so I'm not about to throw any shade your way for doing the same!

Pyra's less 'dark' (figuratively), and more clueless and innocent when it comes to matters of what constitutes 'typical morality' , and furthermore she's an intensely curious and interested in learning virtually anything unknown, 'wondrous' , or beneficial to her/the group . To her, everyone elses reactions towards her wanting to taste test meat via nomming on the Ziggy is confusing and somewhat nonsensical to an extent at first, but once Marcus and Dax explained things and made their complaints known she pretty much learned/acquired new moral guidelines to follow and some understanding of what the big deal was about her action (even if she doesn't fully understand or necessarily agree with their underlying reasons for their feelings) . As the game goes along she'll gain more knowledge and understanding of traditional morality to follow / work with (though she may not believe or fully accept certain moral tenants as her own) and generally more common sense and what constitutes as manners for Pokemon, so problematic incidents and misunderstanding between Pyra's view of things vs. everyone else will decrease.

Oh, and again, no need to apologize mate! Your post is quite sensable , so I hope you didn't sweat it too much!

Actually Bubble would hit both Gligar. Spread move, and my special stat is 2.

Huh if that's a chara-goal of yours then I really don't want to stand in the way of it and instead even encourage to follow that goal - but once you let Pyra go on a hunting trip, please make extra-sure that we won't get in trouble because her doing so, Kee especially would highly disapprove about that shall he ever get word of it. He'll very likely even refuse to let anyone kill a Pokemon while he's around if they 'really deserve it' or there's 'a damn good reason'- he just values Pokemon as companions so much due to being orphaned and they (especially Octavia) provide/d comfort and company to him. Of course this made him go veggie at some point ^_^

Nah, all's well, don't be that sorry!~ It's definitely readable, though if you want to quote big posts it'll be easier to put them behind a spoiler-tag to not stuff the thread. Just hit Ctrl + Shift + S when writing a post and add
Code:
[spoiler]
at the beginning of the writing you want to hide like that and
Code:
[/spoiler]
at the end of it.
