RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 09-07-2023 Huh. The last thing I expected was @no_one to still wanting to fight G-Max Sandaconda after that reveal. I figured everyone but me and Spirit was going to be risk adverse and scamper. Well, if @Spiritmon hasn't changed their mind in the mean time I guess I'll be indecisive and change my vote back to Fighiting Big Snek, so long as @no_one doesn't also change their mind either. A bit of a shake up overall, I must say - this Encounter is getting messier the longer we linger in it. Fun (/sarcastically) RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 09-07-2023 (09-07-2023, 08:56 AM)Lord Windos Wrote: Huh. Nah, I more open to follow our path. Time to face Landorus. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 09-07-2023 So 3-4 votes to continue, 1-2 to fight the snek. Sounds like we're continuing then. Just need relevant reactions from Kee and Kogeki in the game thread. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 09-07-2023 I'll opt out of typing up an actual reaction in GameThread here, and say that the realization of the shadowy energy infesting Kee's treasured Items is enough of a big shock and Nope!- moment to change his mind and avoid fighting againdt Sandi. Am sorry for that, the reason's that I'm 1. exhausted af today, mentally and physically (not because of BigSnek or anything, nope, am and have just been stressed the past few days) and 2. I've got an important appointment tomorrow right after work for which I'd like to prepare stuff. And I'll be on a small art- and anime-convention on Saturday aka won't be able to post in retrospect, so dems the breaks I guess. Things should be done and dealt with (for now), so I hope I'm able to both finish the icons for the first post in GameThread - it just needs some final touches - and post more here. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 09-10-2023 Awesome! I'm planning to work on the next post tomorrow, so if you have anything to say about the current scenario, say it before then! RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 09-11-2023 Outvoted, then. Oh well. We go for the Landorus instead, that's fine too. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 09-11-2023 (09-07-2023, 01:22 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: So 3-4 votes to continue, 1-2 to fight the snek. Alright, now that I read this again, I'm a bit confused about this: Didn't @Spiritmon actually want to Fight the Big Snek? 'Cause I recall they were interested in doing so. I changed my vote on that assumption + No One's own vote to Fight the Snek, so I'd like this clarified before any dice or scene is enacted. If I'm right then the vote actually flops to 3 Fight Snek and 2 Not Fight Snek , which is an outcome I've always been in favor of. If we do end up continuing, I reinterated my previous point to everyone - Playing it safe too much can screw over players that desire a challenge, and leaves me feeling more bitter about Platina's Primal Point gain (since it ended up going against what I wanted out of that Spar). It's a tendency I rather be moderated eventually , or at least open to more compromise rather than a large chuck of the group getting shy about a sudden spike of difficulty/riskiness and forcing me to go against my preferences or take an unreasonable risk of going solo. |
